- The white T-shirt. Every man owns one. Every brand sells one. It is, by design, an incredibly simple piece of clothing - perhaps the simplest of all. But simple doesn’t have to mean easy. In fact, simplicity can be one of the hardest things to get right. In this short film, MR PORTER takes a trip to the town of Barcelos in northern Portugal to find out exactly how a Mr P. T-shirt goes from initial sketch to finished garment.

Dress it up all you like, it's a white shirt. The real admiration is for the family where the textile is produced. Wonderful film

@@zissou6928 I"m in the camp of not spending more than $30 on a T shirt. Most things that can be put in the dryer are disposable to me. It's a simple T shirt, not a suit, blazer etc. My opinion of course.
@@Dominicreviews treat yourself one day and buy a $100 tshirt. You do feel better. Your daily objects should be the best quality you can afford. It makes a psychological difference

Its crazy how lately the most prestigious clothing brands have been choosing Portugal to get their clothes, but for instance the Portuguese police get their uniforms made in Pakistan full of errors and mistakes.
Never the less, im very proud to be Portuguese and that my country is making some of the finest shirts out there.
You’re right. Many of my recent luxury purchases have been made in Portugal. Excellent quality.
not to discredit the quality, but so many companies have moved to Portugal at least partially because it has a good perceived name (being in EU rather than Cina, Vietnam etc) yet the workforce costs significantly less than in most other EU countries.
