The most underrated show ever. In my opinion it was just as good as I love Lucy, and the Honeymooners. Maybe even a little funnier..

Second only to Ernestine Wade, I feel Johnny Lee was hands down the best actor on the show, one of the funniest characters of all time, and just an extremely talented person in general who never seemed to get his due. I feel his character, Calhoun, is the star of many of the episodes.

Can't argue there....I'm 77 and watched Amos an Andy back in 1955 and through the 60s, and until this day and never for got Algonquin J Calhoun one of the Best actors to ever come out of Hollywood...

It's about time more people are defending this classic show.I grew up with Amos n Andy in the 1950s.The way they were taken off television was shocking and disgraceful. All the actors lives were ruined. What was done to Amos n Andy is still being done today.
