If you only have number 5 wide gap hooks with no chin lock use a toothpick Going through the head of the bait and through the eyelet forcing the toothpick in until it stays will prevent bait from sliding down It's crazy glue also works when applied below the eyelit but bait gets torn up excessively when fish hits it and Rips the bond of a glue to the hook

Wish the 4/0 hook weren’t 11.00 dollars for three. That’s the cheapest I could find not shipping from China. With the hardware so hard to find and expensive, that really makes it hard for me to pull the trigger. Looks like a fun bait to fish.
