Negotiating is a funny thing. $500 is $500. We would fight tooth and nail to save that money day-to-day. But you buy a $40,000 car and you're happy, when you could've offered 39,500 or 39,800. When prices are high like this card at 2500, people dont think that saving $50 matters.
$50 is $50. The guy couldve countered with 2425. $25 is $25. Just because a purchase is large, doesnt mean be irresponsible and careless.
