As weird as it sounds i’m grateful for cardi collabing with her. Really put me onto glorilla when originally i was iffy on her. It’s great to see her growth and success and this album went crazy
I’m glad Glo ultimately has a sound that is different from the stereotypical female rapper that we’ve been seeing for the past decade or so. Her staying true to her southern street girl roots makes the album feel raw and real. I wish her all the best and success!
I agree. That’s what sets her apart from the other girls. Where the other girls try to blend in, she goes completely off the track and makes her OWN lane!
I agree that a Meg/Glo EP would go crazy! I think that would be a good look for both of them. They have great chemistry and sound amazing together. I hope they do release a joint album
@@nrmf I’m just hope their collab album comes out in the next year or two cs ik Meg said she wants to do it with Glo but she did say it would take some time
I enjoyed the album. It really showed Glo as multidimensional artist. I was just thinking yesterday about how Kim and Foxy were supposed to do that Thelma and Louise album back in the 90s that never came to fruition. I think that concept would be dope for Meg and Glo because their chemistry is unmatched.
i have not listened to her whole album yet but i was on my spotify dj & he played HOLLON, & i didn’t know it was one of her new songs 😱 my ears were like 👀 THIS BEATTT🔥🔥
I told one of her friends I’m gonna run her streams up, I really want her to get her first number one I’ve already played it back at least 5 or 6 times in the last 3 days but ik it’s gonna take more because of these pop artists plus Rod Wave too
I enjoyed her album THOROUGHLY! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I generally Like almost every song. She didn’t overuse samples, she brought a lot of variety, changed it up, it’s not just “a party album,” it has some depth to it. And I just wasn’t expecting that, but I really do like and appreciate the album. It’s the best female album I’ve listened to that has been released this year.
Look. I think jt makes dope music but if you sum up her entire brand. It’s just I’m that bitch music and every female rapper claims that’s what they are but at least people like glo and Megan show it in their music. They make art. Not just turn up pussy tracks. Glorrila makes turn up tracks, motivational bangers, high people music, underdog anthems and can still mix in her native Memphis ratchet roots. She is just a deeper artist and she really turned the hate and criticism into fuel for her album. I’m predicting it will sell about 58 mil but even if it only sells 30 mil first week I’m still gonna support my girl. Shes getting supported by people like snoop dogg, Shaquille O’Neil, Jennifer Hudson, rihaana and etc… she has the potential to reach icon status. She has the authenticity. She’s funny, she’s relatable, she’s a decent lyricist and she’s a super hype performer. Her future is glowing bright. Keep making great videos💯
@@jamarie4x Had he had handled better business it would have been the official remix. Dropping it now just makes him look like a cloud chaser. He has other artists he could be focusing on.
I love the album. The only skip for me is Rain Down On Me (I hate gospel music). She IS the new Gangsta Boo in terms of the sound of the music, her cadence and flow, etc. I still love Gangsta Boo and La Chat more in terms of Memphis rappers but she's definitely on her way.
Lmaooo I love the honesty. I enjoy gospel but it makes me emo 😂 so I skip that one. I love Gangsta Boo and La Chat so much! Would have loved to see all three of them on a track 🫶🏼 but also happy that she’s carrying the torch.
The cha cha song had a good vision but just missed the mark. But ppl went in on her for it. It was a fun song she wanted to try. I’m glad she took the criticism and decided to pivot into a better sound.
She never fell off. She took the necessary time it took to make a proper album.

Agreed. Tomorrow 2 is when I really started to dive into more of her music. She’s been going crazy ever since!
@@tripleohcee 100%, that’s why majority of her music stays getting played… minus cha cha cha but we don’t talk about that 😂
I can still remember when JT told her to work on her craft… I know she is eating them words right up! Its big glo’s time ❤

It’s so fire!
Megan and glorilla are just top tier collaborations❤
She eats Meg in authenticity.

Glo and Lola Brooks are rappers I look forward to seeing growing in female rap.
For real
I love lola I'm waiting for everyone to notice her
No offense, but everybody did notice her with "Don't Play With It", but she wasn't consistent enough to stay relevant.@@divine4064
Some of her biggest hits are solo and that’s so important 🎉 she’s very likable and her new album hits
She definitely is here to stay an not going nowhere 😅
Nooowhere. 😂
True!
Hot Glo Autumn...got a nice ring to it😏
I just loveeee a good ol rags to riches story!! Glo been on fire this year and I can’t wait for what’s more to come

Glo is gonna keep the gangsta southern rap sound alive . Gangsta boo would be proud 💗💗
This album has absolutely NO SKIPS from beginning to the end‼️

I loooooveeee her album! I have it on repeat 🔂!!!! My favorite song is procedure. I’m really proud of her. Excellent debut album
Yes!!! The album is 🔥🔥🔥 it's about to be on a loop when I hit the gym this morning!
Procedure needs to be a single and a Glo/Latto EP would be firr

Your analysis is cool. For me I simply just like her. Her sound is so refreshing.
Did you also see that Hikidd, the guy who helped her make FNF dropped the original remix with Saweetie on his YT channel yesterday?
I want to know why the day of or after her album he dropped it. Just odd timing.
Yeah he did that. And he looks thirsty for attention by doing that....
