And that Korean company is just going to strip it for what it’s worth and give the beats to artists under their label that low-key do not need or deserve it. I’ve been a K-pop consumer for a long time and I was so annoyed when I heard QC sold to them.
To be fair Hybe does give its subsidiaries leeway to operate however they want. I just think QC thought they'd take on the burden of it but Hybe has a lot of heavy hitters under its roster to care about everyone. If QC can't pull their weight I don't see why Hybe should care for them

I’ve never heard of the other two artists, but when it comes to Yung Miami, I don’t think she should focus on rap but on her podcast and other places that can take her. She is funny and knows how to keep her guest and audience entertained. I know people make fun of the way she talks but that’s what makes her unique. That’s what keeps the black girls from the hood and other black girls tuned in. Plus she can make way more money doing that. The Don’t Call Me Daddy host is making more money than the majority of rappers with a lot less stress. That’s where her success and money will come from, not rap.
Layton should've definitely been bigger because she had bangers!! I guess she still has a chance but I feel like if she stayed relevant back then (like 2018-2020) she probably would've been bigger than she is now.
Gloss Up & Caresha make Hoodrat music. Layton shouldve been blown up 6 years ago. She unfortunately missed her Arch, she was suppose to come up with Summer Walker & Sza. She is a few years too late, and ended up having a kid during pandemic. Gloss Up needs to go more if the crossover route to stand out. Originality and consistency is the only way to stand out these days in such a crowded industry where 8 out of 10 artist sound n look the same.
The problem is that these artists don’t spend time truly perfecting their craft. A while back artists were truly spending a long time working on albums, music and then debuting it all at once. Now they just want to get a hit single, could care less about the album quality/replay value.
I can't speak for the other girls but Careesha was never a rapper/artist. She just liked the lifestyle and is doing whatever to keep it. I also think she feels she has to continue with music bc JT is continuing with music
