I think there should definitely be a brown/tan and/or a polished/open pore wood option, especially since F Sport Performance is going to be the new top-of-the-line, most expensive offering.

Most buyers wouldn’t mind the change to hybrid I4 and honestly it’s more practical using a more fuel efficient engine with decent torque from a battery.
I think I will be trading the GS F in for a 500H my wife needs the space for the family and I think that's the one. wish we could get more color options for the interior besides the red and black tho, though the best model should have the most options in my opinion.
so did i 2022 rx 350 awd v6 eminent white pearl , and got it for a good deal with almost fully loaded package, except with triple beam headlamps which i don’t need as i have cornering fog lamps , this suv is ultra quiet and smooth . i am done car shopping . 👍🏻
Kirk, the reason the RX450h+ is NOT included is that list, even though Lexus announced it originally, is that it won't be available for at least the whole '23 MY, as that's the PHEV / HSD Prime variant with THE LARGEST BATTERY PACK (15-20 kWh). Because of the RATIONING on batteries and its' supplies until at least the '25 or even '26 MY, when the new battery factories being built in US have ramped up production, Toyota decided NOT to produce any new HSD Prime variant of any vehicle, just producing existing PHEV's (namely the Prius Prime, Rav4 Prime and NX450h+) and the very low production of bZ4x's / Solterras and RZ's when they debut. So, until at least mid into the '24 MY expect an RX lineup of only ICED'd and self-contained HSD's variants... (hope I'm wrong, but Toyota corporate seem to have BUTCHERED this intro) PS: I didn't commented before as "our neighborhood" was without power until after 0600 EDT the following day)

The 350h will recommend premium gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher. The Sienna, Highlander Hybrid, Venza, and RAV4 Hybrid share a variant of the same powertrain, and run off 87 octane, so you should be fine running 87 in an RX350h.
The only thing in the dodge id trust long term is the transmission they use. Because they use the same zf 8 speed as in bmw and Audi. Absolutely great transmission
I just found out from my Lexus salesman that the RX 350h will only be available with the luxury package and not the Premium or Premium+ pkgs.Still don't have pricing for another 30-45 days but I was leaning heavily towards the RX 350h with Premium pkg as I could get the Options (like 14" screen, panoramic view monitor,digital rearview mirror & advanced park) with the cheaper pkg unlike the NX 350h which requires me to get Luxury pkg to get those features. Very disappointed with lexus as I would have liked the bigger space in the RX vs NX.
So why isn't the new "Heat Sapphire Blue" color coming to the States? I'm so tired of getting the short end of the stick when it comes to Japanese cars in this country.
I suspect all RX models (even the ICE'd 350) can take 87 US octane gas with a slight output penalty, not as big as the 23hp (no torque penalty) on the Mazda CX-5 Turbo and the CX-9, though.

Why the RX 350 is still call a RX 350. Should it be name RX 240 ? We already know that previous generations were name accordingly to the sizes of the engines. RX 300, RX 330, Rx 350.
Trust me when I say the extra cost for the hybrid is not going to be worth the few extra miles per gallon it may give you. Even with high gas prices- if it’s an average of $4-6k more expensive than an all-wheel-drive four-cylinder turbo version it will take you probably four to six years to recoup that cost. Oh, perhaps a little sooner than four years if you drive it like a grandma..
Hybrids really don’t get any better real world mpg unless you are driving in bumper to bumper traffic. You will have more maintenance expense with the hybrid. Get the 2.4t. I’m glad the anemic gas hog V6 is gone. Real world mpg and power is much better with turbo 4.
Lexus needs to seriously work on making their suvs quicker! That regular RX 350 should be running a 0-60 time of 6 flat! And the RX 500H should be running around low 5’s sec range. Just horrible performance numbers waay behind the German competition.
The RX is (K-platformed) FWD-based. I do believe the only variant offered without the rear diff is the RX350 (the most base variant) w/the T-2.4L ICE'd engine. All the other HSD variants will have AWD standard.
I’m not too crazy about this new Lexus RX to be honest. It downgraded from a V6 to a 4-cylinder engine; fuel economy is a disappointing 25 mpg for a 4 cylinder; and the supposedly 355hp turbo charged is too excessive for a 4-cylinder engine. I’m not digging its new grill and small cargo as well. I’m going to pass.
The 4 cylinder only produces 275hp, the electric motor makes up for the 367hp lol. Also, it a performance version of the vehicle, so why would you expect good mpg numbers. Get the 350H or 450H+ for better mpg
The turbo 4 makes far more torque over a much broader range of engine speeds vs the V6. The 367hp 500h uses the 2.4t. The additional power comes from the e-motors on the rear axle.
A small standard 9 inch center screen unless you get the very top trims. Why is this luxury car spec’d out like a Toyota RAV4? Even a base MDX gives you an HD 12.5” screen. Toyota has made the new RX a juiced up RAV4 on the interior.

As exciting to see the new RX, I just purchased a 2022 the last v6 RX350. Not really liking the overall design and that new center climate control mess.
I actually think Lexus has made a huge mistake with these powertrains for the RX. The 350h for the RX is too underpowered, bring back the V6 with a better hybrid system and they'd be onto a winner...

I really like the low, wide stance of this RX. The wheels and tires seem to fill wheel wells very nicely, too, at least on some trims.

They replaced “atomic silver” with “iridium” which is very similar, however “iridium” is slightly siliver/blue! I have owned both colours! Both nice!👍

V6 is too old so be real.rx350h is designed for mpg not performance i am sorry if you find it not fast enough lol.
The new 350h has the same 0-60 time as the old 450h while getting way better mpg. Not sure why you are complaining
@@dude-yg9ez the issue is Lexus are charging you a ton more money for this vehicle for what is essentially a more unrefined and cheaper powertrain, it just feels like a scam to be honest and not that progressive.
@@dude-yg9ez I actually did a double take on those estimated numbers considering the massive loss of power in the 350h over the 450h... could it be those estimated numbers are wrong? Maybe the new RX is lighter? Any idea how with that much loss in power the 0-60 is roughly the same?
@@iloveanime1313 the new rx is 200lbs lighter than old one, the v6 hybrid must weigh even more than 200lbs than the 2.5 hybrid

Come on the 500h is performance oriented? Lexus is excited about their “performance” suv when it can’t even outperform a Camry v6, Volvo XC90 PHEV, X5phev while being less efficient than the Volvo 😂
The true new Lexus RX is actually called the Genesis Gv80
They are going to give these things away in a few years when EVs get ramped up. The new Hyundai, Kia, and Cadillac EVs are so much nicer on the interior. And don’t get me started on the hideous exterior.
