  • The Steve Canyon comic strip premiered in 1946, bringing two-fisted post-war American action to the daily paper. Check out my review of the first volume of Kitchen Sink Press's reprints in 1983.

IDW has done a hardcover collection of Steve Canyon. They can be pricey, but I’ve picked up a few off EBay for $4.99 in auctions. Added a few for $15-$20 in buy it nows. (I’m doing the same with Little Orphan Annie, Dick Tracy, The Phantom (Hermès Press).... Though Hermès Phantom has separate volumes for their dailies, and another for their Sunday’s) I know Clover took over Library of American Comics from IDW, so not sure if they’ll Reprint, or continue on from what IDW did??? Hoping they continue Tracy through the Dick Locher years, would also like them to continue Little Orphan Annie through the 1980’s.
