I watched through the decades this morning before going to work, and found out that today is Sherman Hemsley's birthday, so Happy B-Day to the late, great Sherman Hemsley aka George Jefferson. Great interview too... very informative interview.

Marla Gibbs had the funniest relationships on and off the screen. Fast forward to 227 Hensley comes to Marla Gibbs apartment knocks on door. They have the same jokes. Tell her you remind me I have a maid I used have lazy. She responded you remind of a boss I used to have short bald. That is true comic writing

Fun Fact: He did the voice of B. P. Richfield, the aggressive, heartless and temperamental Triceratops boss at the WESAYSO INC. He really did a tremendous job voicing that scary Ceratopsian in *Dinosaurs* TV show because his voice was so powerful and can be intimidating, too, lol! 😂😂😂 R.I.P.

What are you having for Dinner Weezy? George's hand with a side of his fingers lol 😂. She bit him after he displayed his hand as King George. These were some super actors and actresses. They got into character, played their roles superbly until their given names weren't even recognized. Sherman Hemsely was George Jefferson,. Isabelle Sanford was Louise " Weezy" Jefferson etc., etc., If I had seen them out and about I would have said there is George and Weezy Jefferson lol. When Sherman Hemsely demised my brother came to loft and he said George Jefferson died today. Of course we were startled and saddened by the news. Thus, I had the same feeling about the others when notifications were made about their departure from this world. However, The Jeffersons were a dynamic humorous sitcom. Excellent scripts, accompanied by a group of producers and a talented core of acting personalities that put it out to the television audiences. I think we will always think of this show and smile.
