    Rocking flip flops in the gym! My man!

    Great tips!
    A huge benefit to my knees was when I started squatting using hanging plates, or kettlebells, from an earthquake bar.
    Literally, the first time I did this, that same night my knees felt 100% better! I could not believe it!
    Light weight, 3-5 sets with 15-25 reps each.

    Great points. Also, trigger points in Rectus Femoris are associated with knee pain due to muscle insertion via patella. Foam rolling your RF trigger points while your knee flexed is a big help! Hurts big times

    Good timing, my knees aren't appreciating the last few weeks of front squats since the gyms reopened. I was hoping the connective tissue adaptations I'd developed would have remained through the lock down, guess not. That banded knee traction looks just like what I need right now. Thanks.

    How long for the lymphatic drain?
    5-10 minutes or more ?

    • @nickg.232
      @nickg.232 4 года назад

      When it comes to the lymphatic System, which pumps weak and slow, the longer the better! (I do it while watching TV or reading in the evening - up to an hour!) When you just got a few Minutes, improve your lymphatic flow/exercise with simple heel-toes on the wall 2sec-2sec. It gives your triceps surae a muscle pump + an easy Training 👉 i work with lymphatic patients, they enjoy it a lot :) that h-t exercise can also be done sitting at office job, when there is no time.

      Easy 30 min running or 10 min skipping rope on daily base has an active longterm effect in your cardiovascular System(better pump effect) + are proven to be healthy knee stabilisers -> 2 goals in one exercise ✔

      Sorry for one more. When you are not active in fitness or lifting, go slow on the traction! People with a lower muscle status will feel the same traction by simply sitting on a tall Table, gently swinging your legs like sitting at a pond (you will feel the relaxation)

    My knees are primarily composed of dried leather ligaments and cartilage dust; not to mention my finger-like pins!?!?. I'll try this tomorrow. (Monday is pin day...because I'm too wise and sophisticated to wrestle over a bench every Monday! Just sayin'...)
