Those cuticles need major work blended into the nail because looking at it right now they look like press ons. That's one of the things I think people don't understand about gel extension You do have to do a little work You should have a nail drill or some sort of way to blend the top of that nail tip into your own natural nail bed. That's why you leave a little space so you can blend it. Then finish it off with a brush with acetone on it it melts it right into the nail.
I have flat nail beds and nothing keeps them on my fingers. Now I know what to look for. Thanks for that. I'd like to say that many have said that the nail lights cause cancer. There are gloves available and the clips hold the nail on for you. These help limit the exposure to the lights. I do not know if both type of lights do the harm.
Let’s learn how to use them… then only explain half the steps? You need to clear cuticle debris and dehydrate like a normal set. You also need to apply and cure a base coat before applying the tip. C’mon guys
The gel tips can be removed completely or at the base of the growth for maintenance using 180 grit manual sandpaper or a micro motor with specific sandpaper.
Omg I would soooo LOVE to try this brand out and their gelpolish I have seen lots of amazing reviews and videos about this brand its going on my wish list this year ❤
some people leave that space to do a gel overlay. It helps it grow out more seamless and not look as bulky. But i agree with the tip not being the right size, they should fit sidewall to sidewall
I've been telling myself that I just have to use up the tips I have now that fit me, and after that, I'll switch to the pre-etched and never have to fight with that part of the process again. You just ruined my day 😅 but I'm so grateful for the heads-up
they have the one that are completely pre etched, I have those from Beetles and it's been a week and they are still ok, I wash dishes do the work around the house, etc. Maybe try those I didn't do anything to those just prepared my nail beds properly.
@@mah0817 update , the first set of nails from Beetles lasted almost 3 weeks and I always use Beetles polish. Now I have of almost a week another set that looks good they are from the brand Aillsa, these seems to be ok as well
**wife using hubby's account*** Push back cuticles/remove File natural nail and remove shine Apply dehydrater, then apply primer Add some gel glue to natural nail Then add gel glue to nail tip Press nail on and cure for 15 sec Do this for each finger Finally do a full hand cure for 60 or 90 sec Hope this helps❤
@@rockymtnsteeze1815 thanks for the advice. I don’t think I’ll be doing them again as my nails are still recovering from when I applied them in October 😂
Your starting nails already look like they have product on them. Care to share what is used on them before that way they actually adhere properly instead of not showing what you prepped the real nail with
@@Alysaah rubber base coat gives a flexible base to your nail that also provides strength so you’re able to grow out your natural nails. For me, my natural nails are quite brittle so even when they do grow out they will break because of not being strong. So the rubber base gel (or hard gel but I prefer r.b. gel because it allows for some flexibility) adds strength! And you can leave it on and just file down to that layer so even after changing your nail sets, your natural nails can continue to grow and get stronger!
@@DreamMassacre oh , is it necessary to use UV glue on soft gel nail tip ? Can we use any non UV glue on soft gel tips? I think if we used a UV glue to stick our tips then we have to use UV lamp to cure them otherwise if we used another strong glue then we don’t have to use UV lamp etc …. M I right?
@@manoranjandeluxe1037 Depends on the tips you use. If they're very soft and bendable, UV glue would help stabilize them and therefore they would hold longer. If the tips are more durable, a non UV glue is just fine for at least 1 to 2 weeks. Also keep in mind to prep your nails proper just like you would for any other type of gel, acryl, tips etc.
Fácil, con acetona o con los producto que venden para quitar....vas a garras una motica de algodón y lo mojas bien de acetona y lo vas hacer como si estuviera quitando el color ,claro tienes que hacer más presión hasta quitar todo el tip.😊
Can you apply these with glue instead? I'm allergic to gel polish and the uv light but can use regular glues and old fashion polish😂 I'm on the hunt for a good strong false nail xx
I have just started using x nail tips and are they supposed to look like they are lifting on the side walls like they do here? There’s always a little thin lifting around the cuticle area. Is this supposed to be ok as long as they aren’t lifting anymore than this?
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to make this video. I found it helpful! God loves you and have a blessed day beautiful 🤍

They last only 9 days on the nails after that they start to pop off

Its called "Shorts" for a reason 😂
this is a 6 in 1 gel so it functions as a base coat and a glue etc. but yeah they still missed some steps xD
Thank u, was looking for base coat info. Never seen nail glued in basecoat but makes sense.
Yes THANK YOU!! I was like there is NO WAY this is all you do lmao
Wow
This shape is everything❤❤❤❤

I love their gel glue its soooo good 👍
What glue is that?
I don’t know they had a YT I love these nails
Please show how to remove the soft gel tips 🙏🏻

It's a great brand. I use their products all the time and Amazon has them for a great price.
Very nice and tidy work 😊

Oouu puuurrr😊
Super Duper lovely ❤
can i know how to remove the gel glue???
They aren’t at the cuticles properly and don’t fit wall to walk as they could but these are really good nails

I find the barrel (extra curve) coffin dual forms work better for wall to wall coverage.
I know they say pre etched but my experience is that your best still etching the inside with a sand band. Otherwise they pop off 😢

Goodshhhh👍
I always get the gel glue seeping out of the sides slightly. I tried using less but then there wasn’t enough gel and there were air gaps
Do it really slowly
**wife using hubby's account***
Push back cuticles/remove
File natural nail and remove shine
Apply dehydrater, then apply primer
Add some gel glue to natural nail
Then add gel glue to nail tip
Press nail on and cure for 15 sec

Dip a brush in polish remover and remove the glue sticking out before curing.

Lots of people leave a base of hard gel or rubber base coat on their nails 💅 hope that helps!
@nailsstalgia do you know why they do this? I heard it's usually top coat

Is liquid nail glue better or solid nail glue?
I have these I still have some, but they always popped right off

will this work on gel polish?
do you file the inside of the tip?
goodmrning .. how to order??
Is it necessary to use UV light to stick the soft gel nail , if we press and hold nail for 30s I think it will do same thing ?
Please tell me
It is. The UV glue will only activate it's purpose upon having a UV light shine one it. It doesn't work like usual Super or Instantglue.
