This song is by far my favorite on Firepower. I love the whole album but this song immediately caught my attention. It really does go very well with Guardians. I am really glad to see that there are other Priest fans that love this song. If this is the last Judas Priest album than they really did end it with a Masterpiece. Judas Priest have been my second favorite band for over thirty years. Iron Maiden has been my favorite but I do admit that Rob Halford is a better singer than Bruce Dickinson. Rob Halford deserves to be called the Metal God. No other singer will ever top him in my opinion.
That solo by Richie was so good. So much feel. Too bad Glenn's solo was even better! Crazy how he manages to sound so good despite his diminished abilities due to PD.

The twin guitar attack and Halfords unmatched vocals (in metal) formed the foundation and they have expanded the area for which everyone else tries to measure up to.
Thomas terbanc and Motörhead too. They never did complex stuff but Lemmys kind of singing was the root for screaming and growling. Then theres Megadeth who started with the Double-Bass...do you can't say that there's one Band who started Metal.
Not forgetting about Maiden. Hey I'll admit they are more popular than Priest, but their 1st album was in 1980. Priest already had 5 studio and 1 live album as part of their resume'. The blueprint was already formed. Maiden put the prog element into metal.
A true Judas Priest masterpiece !!! That's why their are unequalled in Heavy Metal... I still hope Maiden will make an as good song in one of their futur album... because since 2000 and BNW, what classic did they wrote ? Sad...
