I have quite a few bushes, which Luba mows under brushing the branches. That camera would get caught on the branches. It would be better if the cameras were set into the body like the RoboUp competition. I might add that their front wheel steer looks better too!
Thanks a lot for your feedback, will keep fighting to provide better products. LUBA 2 equipped with omni-wheels, LUBA effortlessly performs in-place turns while causing no damage to the grass.
@@mammotiontech Thanks, I did ask support last year after ordering that my Luba 5000 delivery be delayed until the omni wheels were fitted as standard and also enquired if they could be retro fitted but neither enquiry was acted on. Notwithstanding, I'm pretty sure the omni-wheels would improve things, the jury is out whether they would totally eliminate grass damage, become clogged or adversely affect slope handling. I'm pretty sure steered wheels would be better. I will have to wait for someone to do a comparison on RUclips!
It looks like the only major difference is the camera. Are there any plans for an upgrade kit for the V1 since it's still a very new device? I don't think any V1 user will upgrade to V2 that soon.
We are sorry that we currently do not support to upgrade the Luba to Luba 2, the Luba 1 will have feature upgrade later, stay tuned, thanks a lot for your support
@@Blamusik We are sorry that we currently do not support upgrading the 3Dvision to the LUBA1, we have announced the features upgrade, you get more details in this link: facebook.com/groups/364111978910130
Really like but Luba is doing but: - Camera should move itself down into the housing when charging and moving under bushes (an added brush / piece of microfiber could also clean the lens) - Omni wheels should lock themself against unwanted side motion when mowing slopes - Robot should have front wheel steering and be able to drive real curves - Blades should mow grass until the edge of the device
I don't see the solar panel on the website. I'm planning to get one the H models. The solar panel might help with RTK placement, so I'm hoping it's available in the U.S.
The solar pannel will be coming soon, please stay tuned to the website: us.mammotion.com/products/solar-panel-for-rtk-reference-station-of-luba-2-awd-series
Does the mower work if the RTK station is out of line of sight? I have a front and rear lawn and my house would be in the way for the front lawn (which is very small area). Does it detect driveway or do you set no mow zone or something for that? My property is square but I have a driveway and sidewalk. Would I have to use 3 zones for this or could I just learn the whole property and tell it where not to mow?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. LUBA2 supports Multi-zone & No-go-zone management. For further more questions, you can get help via email: support@mammotion.com

Hi Michael, sorry for the late reply! It requires at least 20 satellites, but our main focus here is on the POS status calculated via multiple values. It needs to be FIX, indicating a relatively good signal to ensure normal operations. Additionally, please ensure that the RTTK and the charging station are installed in a 90° open-sky area. For the installation spot for the RTK reference station, please follow the instructions provided here: support.mammotion.com/hc/en-us/articles/13703928281879-What-is-the-best-installation-place-for-RTK-Reference-Station

Thank you for your message. Our accessories are shipped separately, and the solar panels are currently in pre-sale, so their delivery may take a bit longer. However, they are expected to arrive at the warehouse soon. We appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any more questions, please let us know.
These things are garbage. Takes 6 hours to mow a third of my 2000 square feet lawn. Breaks down every time I run it. Gone through 2 lubas in 8 months. Just get a riding mower.

Do you have open API access for adding it into Smart Home platforms like Home Assistant or SmartThings?
Yes, but it only supports Alexa & Google Home at this moment.

I'd love to try one of these out on my tall fescue, wonder how it would stripe between 2-3" height of cut.
Would be nice for us Luba Kickstarter’s to get a Luba 2 at a discounted price ;-)
Thanks a lot for your questions. I will need to discuss with my team and will get back to you. Thank you.
@@mammotiontech That wasn't even his question though.
Please tell me I can get a solar powered RTK for my Luba V1?
Not compatible
@@mammotiontech 😭
Sorry, the answer is yes, rest assured
@femultimedia where do you got that info. Be silent if you're not sure
Does it also mean that the charging station can now be installed anywhere we want? for example close to a wall?
The charging station should be installed in the place with the RTK coverage
That looks like it will leave ALOT of uncut grass on edges close to walls etc. Is it like 10cm on each side that is not cut due to no edge function?
It's off my shortlist due to that problem.
Youl would still have to trim with a robotic mower. It cuts the whole lawn, and I edge the house and driveway.
