Did you work out how long it will take at the speed it runs, and the time it takes to charge for each 1/3 of an acre? 6 hours per 1/3 of an acre including charging...
At $7,500 and then up to $10 grand it really should do a lot. That is a lot of money for a lawnmower. It does seem to be a really nice, well thought out device.
They started with the snowblower because it was the hardest to do with all the safety concerns and the challenge of winter conditions. Everything after that is simple now.

Since lawn mower blades become dull over time, where do you take the lawn mower module to maintain and sharpen the blades? And do they have blade replacements, if so, how easy are they to replace?
For the price you can’t beat it compared to other robot mowers. It can mow and much more for the same price as other robotic mowers or a high end ridding mower.

There aren’t traditional maintenance shops like we have for ICE vehicles. This machine is too expensive, IMO, to risk something serious breaking
For this much money I want guard dog mode to have lethal options. Mini gun pops out of it followed by a you have 10 seconds to comply warning in a robocop voice.
Amazing technology. I'm curious how it gets serviced if there is something wrong. With it being so large I imagine it's heavy and nobody would want to box it up and take it to FEDEX.
I ordered mine. I already have a husqvarna 450x doing an acre for me. I love the thing, but it gets stuck about once a day on uneven surfaces. The other thing thats a pain is it uses boundary wires which I've accidentally cut multiple times while doing yard work.
I wasn't sure if this would work with my yard because my lawn is lower than my sidewalks so my current robot mower can't get over the lip to get to another p[art of the mowing plan. The way this drives on or off smaller curbs will be no issue for my yard for sure. That was really one of my biggest concerns because anything autonomous that you have to get unstuck often defeats the purpose for me.
yeah, I've trashed my Husqvarna 450x, after a lot of wire setup time, because it just kept getting stuck and every spring the wires would be broken from one thing or another.
Interesting piece of equipment. Follow me mode for a small load would be very useful. My questions revolve around longevity and maintainability. How many recharges are the batteries rated for ? What happens if something breaks ? .... Going to check out snowblower performance next.
They should market this for neighborhoods. The price is steep, but have a city block go in on this and do everyones side walks. My block already collects to get the alley plowed, if we could get the alley and our sidewalks done, I'd be so in!
I have a steep driveway with grass on each side. How well would it do for both snow and mowing on a steep hill? Driveway is about 100 yards long on the hill.
I like that it is modular wiih different attachments. What is holding me back is how secure it is. I have been watching several videos and reading information on different websites. NO one is talking about any theft prevention security features. Not even this video. When you're looking at $4,300 for the core and the lawnmower attachment. I want to know if it can be stolen or not. If there is security / theft prevention in Yarbo? That is something that needs to be highlighted. Spending several minutes on this subject alone. No Anti-Theft IS a deal killer. I don't care if it will not work if not connected to the RTK or not connected to my Wifi. Can it be tracked when stolen? I have already had a robotic lawnmower stolen. I got it back within a few hours due to the GPA tracking module that the company offered and I purchased. The thief came into a fenced yard that is clearly marked with dozens of lighted signs, that state, property under continuous video surveillance. So yes, there are idiots who are willing to steal these small robots. Even though the robot turns into a very expensive paper weigh or door stop when off properly. That is something they don't know about when stealing it.
It apparently does have not only GPS for tracking but a separate battery to power that system from what I understand. It’s also can’t be used by anyone else if stolen which I know means nothing for the owner. It’s also really heavy to lift. Like anything, if they want it, they’ll get it just like anything else.
I’m worried that yarbo doesn’t know where to stop for my yard. I don’t want it to accidentally mow my neighbors yard. I’ve seen other robo mowers and they have a cable where you have to put down to show where the barrier is to not cross

I came accross this while I was looking for some alternative ways to groom and compress snow (for making XC ski trails). I would like to use it as a tow vehicle for a groomer (hand-made or professional one) to groom approx 1 mile circuit. It has enough strength but unfortunately not enough traction for that task. Of course I don't expect it would make its way through snowdrifts, but still it should be able to go through few inches (up to 10 cm) fresh snow and tow some 200 KG heavy groomer device behind it without slipping. My idea would be to add another module component at the front that would not be used to remove snow from the path, but to compress it (or cut & compress it if hard packed). It would not be a super hi-tech device, it should just weight something to be able to compress snow. But as it would be attached at the front, it would be pushed instead of towed plus there would be no need for the tracks to go through fresh snow. This could solve the problem with traction. Hard to say how many people would appreciate it, but according to my observation there are quite a lot of enthusiasts around the internet. In low to moderate snowfall areas, where there is not worth it to buy heavy and expensive equipment, something like that would be a great machine for XC trail maintenance, as well as biking and walking trails during winter due to its fantastic versatility. For example s1 module could be used to pile up snow in sites on the trail where it melts faster and lawn mower would be perfect for off season maintenance when the frequent mowing is needed. Looks pretty awesome but the price is a little pricey for the average consumer. Will they reduce the price at some point? I think it would be more beneficial to get them sold and build out service plans. Anyone that buys would want to but a service plan I would think. Also will there be a future gardening attachment as I have a large garden that would need tilling. Gardening would include clearing and then tilling before planting.
Pretty sure that’s it’s the future works. Pricey for maybe just a lawnmower but given the fact that it can be so more I think it’s very reasonable considering the price of others in the market which many can’t even operate as much and often as this unit and are only lawn mowers. I was just talking to my neighbour yesterday and he has an autonomous lawnmower but one of those smaller ones shown. He can only do about 2500 ft.² with his and it can only takeoff millimetres compared to what this is yet the pricing is fairly close between the two
@@EverydayReviews2022 yea that may be true when compared to other similar mowers but I don’t think it will sell well to the average consumer unless they have a very large yard. I think it’s in a luxury category for the current price at the moment. I think for the company to get more sales they’d be more affective selling at a lower price and selling maintenance plans for recurring revenue. My parents are in their 70’s, have a fairly large property and they just pay someone to mow the lawn. It would be great for them but it’s hard to justify when you can hire someone for less so it doesn’t make sense cost wise for now. With the purchase cost there are still maintenance requirements that will have to be kept up with as well which adds to the cost. Thats just my point of view though. I do love the product though. I wish I could get one.
While many have ordered. Most have been told lies by Yarbo and never actually receive anything. Only beta testers see the mower. On discord they(Yarbo test group) talk about the mower running up a tree and breaking. Good thing it wasn't one of their kids.
@@jonnytommy1713 I can’t comment on the orders as I don’t work for them . When you mean ordered, does that mean they’ve paid outright or placed a deposit? Not really familiar with discord, isn’t for video games? I’ll be testing the 2024 model very soon so will for sure update on its accuracy and efficiency. Often with betraying though just like for cars that we test, they’re pre-production models and not all features are activated it they’re running a very early firmware. If it’s a production model then that’s something to be concerned for sure.
Basically, if you were in the market for an autonomous lawnmower, this should be up your alley considering that it does a lot more and has more capability than just a lawnmower
The video was actually getting too long, but I have a bunch of other material where Ken states that in the future, it could be used to pick up dog waste take your garbage out almost endless possibilities
@@EverydayReviews2022autonomous lawnmowers range in price from $750-2500 depending on the size of the yard it needs to mow. At $3500+ you’re in the ballpark of an electric zero turn mower that any big home improvement store carries.
The customer is people with large yards, and there are millions of them. If you mow more than an acre you discover that it takes quite a while each week and, no surprise, it can cost hundreds of dollars per mow if you wan to hire someone. So anyone with, say 2 acres or more would save money after two years, if it works as advertised.
I just talked to Yarbo support, and they told me that you can not attach a mower on the front and a blower attachment on the back. 2 minutes in on this video, they claim you can. They said, "After thorough testing and evaluation, we have determined that the Yarbo attachment is optimized for use with a single module, specifically designed to be attached to the front." Don't let this video lead to false advertising, Yarbo!
Who would you believe, support or the Co-founder that helped design the unit itself. It can power both from and back. This is for the 2024 model. 2023 versions do not have the rear power
When I talked to them today they said the 2024 model will not support that. Either there has been a change since this video or Yarbo support doesn't have a clue what they are selling. Either way makes me nervous to invest this much money on a product.
Too often so called customer service is a contracted company unrelated to the MFR. They likely have a script to follow but like human nature proves when the boss is away they don't follow the script
I guess it’s safe to assume this is for the wealthy and disabled. For someone disabled this would be cool if it really does worked good. For the rest of us a good Zero is 3200-3500 for a base model that will mow FAST. I enjoy my time on the zero turn. If someone invents a robot weed eater that truly works sign me up.
@@EverydayReviews2022 That is a thought. Unfortunately we don't have a irrigation system and our lawn is tall fescue. In summer we cut at 4.5 to 5 inches which also greatly helps to keep weeds from germinating. Thanks for the reply!
#Rip to the Lawn care services that cut rich people grass and some middle class folk too. I'm upper middle class and I'm getting this. #TakeMyMoney!!! 💵💵💰
This is not a practical solution for anything larger than 1 acre. Mowing 1/3 acre in 3 hours then charging for 3 hours means that a 4 acre yard would take 72-80 hours to mow. In the springtime I’ve got to mow every 4 days with a normal mower. That means the Yarbo would be constantly mowing in the spring and early summer and by the time it finished mowing, the area it started in would be grown and your yard would never look uniform at all. The problem is power, and if they made it more powerful the price point would be too high. Small yards only, definitely not 6 acres.
Lmao. i love the guy flexing about the cutting deck size. it does not matter in a lawnmower. it will mow the lawn 24/7 so even if its a small deck it will do it in time.
3 hours for 1/3 acre plus 3 hours of recharging, so 6 hours per 1/3, meaning 18 hours per acre. This would take 4.5 days to mow 6 acres. Assuming you actually use your yard, you most likely would place it on standby if you have kids running around kicking a ball or whatever, and you don't want them to trip over it etc. So it's going to most likely run at night mostly, meaning it will take 9 days. I have 4 acres to mow and kids, so it will be running every single night and basically only finish the area over the course of a week. So every day, some of the lawn will be done but almost never, all of it.
@@paulexplainsit Yes that’s correct. You could always program it to do the more common areas where they would play during the night and when they’re apt school.

Looking at the sale price right now vs regular price. Seems pretty reasonable while on sale. I might purchase on the next sale.
How does it turn with those tank belts? I guess it will destroy the grass when there are curves or narrow spaces
It makes wide turns and if it’s too narrow, it just backs up. The lug inserts allow it to slide a little.
Is this made souly in the U.S.A.?
No, it’s made in China like most everything 😆
Impressive unit and technology. However just not sure who the customer is and how many they would sell.
Coupon seems to only be for $400?
That it's a multitasker is a big plus. I wouldn't want to spend that much money on something that only did one job for only about 1/2 the year.
Your link doesn't work.
When I have a house I want one of these. Mainly cause as a female anything to making snow blowing and mowing easier.
My wife, as a female, got something to do the snow blowing and mowing---me.
can it HAWK TUAH too??? :D
When it can pick up dog shit, you've got my money
@bitterstbowl0211 just activate the shred & fertilize mode
that's the shred & fertilize mode
Yarbo cut my grass, did my taxes, and saved my marriage. Thank you Yarbo!
So cool
This would be great for my apiary
I guess it’s safe to assume this is for the wealthy and disabled. For someone disabled this would be cool if it really does worked good. For the rest of us a good Zero is 3200-3500 for a base model that will mow FAST. I enjoy my time on the zero turn. If someone invents a robot weed eater that truly works sign me up.
The lack of suction on all of these robot mowers is the main drawback. Hard to cut tall grass at 4" with no suction.
Most of these are really designed mainly for micro mulching.
I totally agree! I have 3 acres of tall fescue with no irrigation so I need to cut high.
@@troyhickman8577 What if your lawn was already cut short, this would be able to handle your 3 acres every few days.
@@EverydayReviews2022 That is a thought. Unfortunately we don't have a irrigation system and our lawn is tall fescue. In summer we cut at 4.5 to 5 inches which also greatly helps to keep weeds from germinating. Thanks for the reply!
Cool
i first remember seeing this in, Honey I shrunk The Kids
I fear having to tell my wife "Honey, someone stole our $4k lawnmower!" I would load it up with AirTags and a logging chain!
I have a Husqvarna mowing 3 acres. It is always mowing or charging. The grass is always perfect....this mower would be so much better at it ..
Perfectly flat yard. Short grass. Nothing tangible yet about mapping or auto guidance. I'll buy Gen 2. Early adopters always get shafted.
Once bitten, twice shy! Been there, done that.
💯
I need something smaller for half the price
Certainly the product of an enthusiast at $5500
Lmao. i love the guy flexing about the cutting deck size. it does not matter in a lawnmower. it will mow the lawn 24/7 so even if its a small deck it will do it in time.
Larger deck requires less passes hence can extend range
If you're curing 6 acres, it most certainly matters.
@@paulexplainsit I completely agree as I am on 3 acres. I'll stick with my 60" Hustler with hyperdrive for mowing and striping. I mainly wanted it to pull an irrigation hose around the property as well as and the patrol mode.
I can't wait until it gets the 2 nanometer transistor hardware in 2025
Holy hell someone actually using that stupid ai pin thing.
I think it's cheaper to hire someone. Plus no maintenance or setup/operation/repair.
@@drackkor725 Quite possibly. Depends on your area. I know someone that pays almost this much every month for lawn care. Of course with the size of his land he would need a couple of these but doable.
Price is lame. It’s not a car.
"how quiet it is". dude, that is straight up false.
@@robertreidmd a lot quieter than my gas engine ones. There’s always going to be drivetrain noise regardless of how it’s powered. I’ve cleared snow at midnight whereas wouldn’t attempt that with gas blower without supremely pi$$ing off my neighbours
