- This is a short segment on the Nissan ATTESA 4WD system as featured in the BNR32 Skyline GT-R and other Nissan vehicles. It aired on ATN7 Sydney prior to the running of the 1990 Tooheys 1000.
It looks like ancient technology today but in 1990 it was at the absolute cutting edge.
Please enjoy.
Can't believe there's been no comments on this. Great video, and since people still use and love the ATTESA-ETS control today in their R32, it's stood the test of time!
KaldekBoch Is a great piece indeed. Am glad you enjoyed it.
This is true automotive wizardry.....
Not just about speed.
It won every single race and the rest is history
It's amazing this was the early 90's. What an absolute monster, thanks for sharing this!
Bluebird Attesa, best car I've owned. This video is great.
I was doing some research about ATTESA system for school and just learned that there even was a awd Bluebird model! These older small awd Nissan boxes are so cool! Happy for you to have that experience of owning a cool car like that!
The equipment they used compared to what it is now is insane, really cool video
R32 was actually ahead of its time! 630 Hp back in 1990 was quite a big deal, I mean literally.
Hail to the Godzilla

That's why it's called the godzilla
Love your content sir, please keep uploading. Subbed!
Been trying to find this video , saw it in Insta. Glad I found it 🙏🏼
So with the Nissan attesa gt turbo (1996) does anyone know if they made it awd with the attesa system or if is more fwd and then slip detected then awd? And dows anyone know the time it takes for it to detect and make awd?
I think it ended up being helpful :)

So they are illegally using traction control?
