    this platform/benchmark has been what manufacturers have been chasing since its induction. To me this was the golden goose that really open the minds of everyone else in the field of manufacturing speed/usable power. Torque vectoring etc re-shaping the maxmized line in a corner/grip/exit potential. To me The r32 GTR set the standard far above the range of what was previously thought possible....and to me that "BAR" is forever set in stone. Just about anyone "SERIOUS" is doing something in house to make their cars faster from a trans/gearing/tune etc standpoint...and IMO the R32 Really was the pioneer that opened up the echelon of speed/times engineering for everyone else across the board. While offering a seeming "reliability" aspect other SERIOUS members would also adhere to otherwise bear the burden of cost to own/run. Nissan IMO set both standards in a time where IMO most ppl/engineers never considered conventional/mainstream from a pure consumer/car/racing standpoint. As far as investment/implementation. To think it was a platform that out lasted porsches FR endeavors. As the Z was designed to aim for the 924-44 demographic or ferrari daytona that it once began as a comparable option towards...half the cylinders but definitely not half the car XD. To see how far theyve come from that era to this peak/implementation of automotive engineering.

    So with the Nissan attesa gt turbo (1996) does anyone know if they made it awd with the attesa system or if is more fwd and then slip detected then awd? And dows anyone know the time it takes for it to detect and make awd?

      I was doing some research about ATTESA system for school and just learned that there even was a awd Bluebird model! These older small awd Nissan boxes are so cool! Happy for you to have that experience of owning a cool car like that!

    R32 was actually ahead of its time! 630 Hp back in 1990 was quite a big deal, I mean literally.

      The reason why Amaroo Park was eventually closed. More and more houses were being built closer to the track which forced the noise restrictions to the point that no racing was allowed. I think it totally sucks considering the track was there before the houses.

      @@tomnewham1269 That's one reason why Amaroo closed yes but another one was the ARDC was broke after the battle with Supercars over the Bathurst 1000 "split"

      the fact that its still actively utilized/modded/swapped/tuned into other "4WD" builds is a testament to its potential and success.
