Lovely video but I have a question about your weapon swingtimer/shooting bar. Can you tell me which addon it is or where I can find it? I currenly have a weakaura hunter import that has a timer but I can't find how to make it like yours with the white portion in it (which indicates when you can or can't move to not hinder autoshot I assume).
yep, that’s exactly what the white bar does! the addon is just “weapon swing timer,” but by default it’s broken for SOD. gotta pick up the “weapon swing timer sixx fix” addon too, and then it works seamlessly!
you can just add /petattack to any skill of your choice. In SoD I have a solo macro for my pet with growl and petattack so I don't waste the focus on spamming growl. In a group or raid you can add petattack to a single macro or any of the attacks that you are using.
i just have a plain old "/petattack" macro keybind to a side mouse button you CAN absolutely put that same command in any other macro, eg: #showtooltip /cast Multi-Shot /petattack ...but I don't think it's the "best" way to do it. sometimes you don't want your pet to go in (it's hurt and would die, the enemy is almost dead and it'd be a waste of time for your pet to walk over, it would pull more mobs or mess up a melee mechanic like chain lightning, etc) OR you want it on another target, eg leaving it to mess w/ a healer or caster in pvp while you fight someone else in other words -- yesn't. if it's more comfortable for you, you can macro it into anything you want w/ the template above, but the way you're doing it right now offers the most freedom and is technically "best." i just button mash the hell out of said macro all the time LOL
well... you don't exactly hardcast it in people's faces LOL it's just a fun little pvp gimmick -- the main use is the pet positioning part, and sometimes you can use EOTB to pull mobs in dungeons/raids if your tank wants you to, but that's more situational
Being the most insulted class is just the price way pay to play the most skill expressive class. Ppl who insult it are usually the ones who can't play it past auto attack and pet attack lol.
@ehd.f4268 I really dont understand what full bis hunters are doing with purple parses maximun. I rolled a hunter as 4th char and got p much all 96-99 with a green bow and prebis gear on first couple raids last weekend. And im for sure making mistakes still
maybe true on kelris and akumai, but i still hit oranges (and close to pinks) on the earlier bosses w/o greench, and that's w/o the crossbow or even the trident (my loot luck is terrible) + pretty mediocre melee weaving bc the gun is so fast if it's any consolation, there's a rumor WCL is going to prune the greench logs anyway, but it also doesn't matter at the end of the day imo. i love parsing and really enjoy learning as much as i can about my classes in mmos, but lvl 25/BFD isn't the most serious content in the world anyway you probably won't 100 w/o the greench, but purples and oranges are super viable (with a little crit luck) even if they don't prune the logs!
Hunter is not a noob class, what hunter “is” is a class that is easy and easy to do a lot of things due to a crazy tool kit. Mastering a hunter is harder than most but not the hardest to master. They are a solid B. Warrior is not hard, just frustrating in classic. They turn into an A tier when macros and skill with movement and gear. Hope this helps.

omg, the thumbnail had 99 and 98 parses.. guess what, you wont get above a 70... Greench carried everyone for 3 weeks, you will never catch up
