Not entirely true, I was scanning the officials radio all race and there were multiple times a driver was forced into missing the chicane and the officials would come over the radio and say they were forced, no penalty. The problem is drivers will get pushed through and then stop on their own immediately instead of waiting for NASCAR to give them the okay.

Yeah, drivers should make Nascar call the penalty, because if it is close, you can get away with it. Some drivers self-penalized as I think the rule was not clear to drivers.

I laugh at the Bubba Wallace pentalty because you can't shortcut only in one spot, but they don't say a word when you extend the track or cut coming back onto the oval in nascar 3/4. And stage racing on road courses is the biggest waste of time. But I guess ya gotta sell them ads. As if you didn't have enough already.
All the cry babies who said the changes to the Roval were bad, stick both amazing races this weekend in your copium pipe and smoke it. Had more passes in the final chicane than ever before and twice as many passes at turn 7 than all weekend last year.
This 'Choose you own adventure' style of track shows bad circuit designers can still get a gig. Put in some decent curbs to properly penalise someone who cuts a corner. This 'stop and go' business, ridiculous. And congratulations to SVG's team, let's take the quickest guy out there and do all we can to completely stuff his race. The real question has to be, which other team is paying them, cause it can't be SVG's. What ever you got paid, give it back and include accommodation costs, you didn't deserve to be there! That was strategy by crayon... A second grade NASCAR Fan could have put together a better strategy. Please get someone in the box who actually understands track strategy. Other than that, great race, well done to the drivers.
