    The x macro is by far my favorite CC purchase to date. Muzzle flip is at a minimum and easy to get back on target. Grip feels good in hand (I’d love to pick up the Icarus precision grip) & the mag capacity is unbelievable. What more could one ask for….awesome job Sig

      I agree. Hit the range with my Glock 45 yesterday that I've owned for a few years now. Also took my 365 XL and my new X Macro TACOPS. I shot both of the Sigs substantially better than the Glock. If you'd have asked me before I went to the range I would have told you I'd outshoot the Sigs with the Glock since I've carried it for years now. Needless to say I have been really impressed with all of the 365 models. I originally bought the XL as a smaller option to carry. I bought the X Macro because I have a thing about filling my XL size palms with the grip of a pistol, but after my results yesterday I can say the XL did great. Every one of the guns has a dot on it and shot the same ammo and I can cover the 7 yard groups out of the Sigs with a golf ball. The Glock? You'd need 2 softballs and then some. I'm baffled and impressed simultaneously!

      😆. The way I see it if the pistol can hit a 12” steel plate at 100 yards I’m not going to question the accuracy of the pistol. Heck the little ole shadow systems cr920 I hit 9 out of 10 with it. That video was a while back though. We are living in good times as far as accuracy of smaller pistols like these. Combine that with reliability and it’s pretty dang outstanding.

    Already had Two 365XLs but still bought an XM on August 13th last year. Since then converted the XLs with XM grip modules and 17 round mags. Sig just started selling what's actually the XM TacOps slide with the forward mounted optic cut, just like the XM has but with a 3.7 inch slide and barrel and no porting. 349.99 in Black, Stainless or Coyote Brown. Bought the first XL the year they came out. No rust so far.

    I bought my X-Macro Tacops, a few weeks ago, without every holding one, or shooting one, and man I'm glad I pulled the trigger on one. They are hard to find in Miami. I had to order one and send it to an FFL. I am a Glock guy as well. I have a 48 MOS decked out. and a 23. I love my Glocks, but they do not feel natural in my hands. The Tacops, melts into my hands and shoots amazing. I did not think I would like the mag well, and thought I would take it off, but I love it. It helps secure my pinky if that makes sense. It also does not print like I thought it would. I just put the Holosun 507k on it today. Guess that's a reason to hit the range tomorrow.

    • @livennick9
      @livennick9  Год назад +1

      Heck yah man. They are excellent. I loved the magwell at first. For the exact reason you said. That’s really the only reason I ever use magwells. The only reason I took mine off was while driving the truck it started to dig in right where I had my back surgery. Otherwise it would definitely still be on there. Good luck at the range bud. You’ll love it. Enjoy.

Your shooting was incredible with the iron sights!-my accuracy seemed to get worse after I cleaned it.

    • @livennick9
      @livennick9  9 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you bud. I like fiocci for range ammo. Make your pistol safe with mag out and triple check the chamber. Then dry fire the piss out of it and work on trigger control. Trigger control and anticipating recoil is the two main factors I’ve seen contribute to large groups. Most pistols these days are very accurate. There are definitely lemons though if you have seen my first hellcat pro video vs my second hellcat pro. I hope this helps bud. When you think you have dry fired enough do it more man. I have shot hundreds and hundreds of thousands of rounds from a lot of different pistols over the years and the one that helped me the most was Ruger MK2 pistol. Low recoil and very accurate. It allows you to get good trigger control and not anticipate recoil at the same time for a fraction of the price of 9mm. When I was in my 20s my mom, dad, and I would go to the range with two bricks of 22lr every Sunday for several years and not leave until they were gone. Then we would go eat dinner at my grandmas. Those were very good times. I think I just went off topic. 😆 sorry. I was reminiscing. Another good one way is get some dummy rounds. Take 8 live rounds and two dummy rounds and mix them up and load the mag not paying attention to where the dummy’s are or have someone else load the mag for you and not tell you. When you get to the dummy round I can tell you 10/10 times you will flinch alot at first. Every single person I have helped through the years this way has flinched. Trust me it helps show you what is going on when the firing pin or striker hits. I used to help
      Out alot with NRA kids shoots. The dummy round run is the best I’ve come up with over the past 25 years. It’s natural for your mind to take over and want you to flinch. It’s just the way it is. You just have to learn how to override that part. You definitely can. Hope this helps bud.

    Why won't you put a red dot on your macro?

      It pretty much boils down to I’ve shot so long with irons. I’ve hd dots fail and they are a blast on game guns and range guns but as far as carry I just like irons.

    How high did you aim at 100 yards?

    • @livennick9
      @livennick9  8 месяцев назад +1

      I hold about 5” off back of plate on smaller 9mm pistols. On full size silhouette targets I shoot at the neck. Smaller area and normally hits center of upper chest. So true hold over is about 8”-10” at 100 yards. Hope that helps.

    what holster is that?

    • @livennick9
      @livennick9  Год назад

      It’s a galco that I picked up one time a while back for $10 used. It fits glock 43x, hellcat, sig 365s and a couple others. Not really sure what it was actually made to fit to be honest since it was used. I just figured $10 was a good deal for a leather galco. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

    Just not a fan of using red dots? Awesome video man

    • @livennick9
      @livennick9  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks man. I tried for 7 or 8 months to like red dots on pistols. I couldn’t even make myself like them. They’re good at 50-100 yards but normal pistol ranges I have zero use for them. It takes a lot more to make iron sights fail and I’m faster with irons at normal ranges.

      @@livennick9 totally understand! Great perspective. Currently don't own any red dots because I like irons for same reasons you highlighted but was curious about your reasons as well. Thanks for the reply! I'm going to subscribe to this channel now also 👍
