I always love a shop-up with you and “Our Mum”. She’s like my Mom was, always up to date on styles and loving classics, too. I see lots of items that I’ll be checking out. I notice that shop is using those really yellow lights, they’ve been doing this for a while now here in the US. It makes it really hard to determine the true colors, I occasionally have bought “light green”, one of my favorites, only to discover at home that it’s plain old gray. It does make those sparkly items look great, though. I never noticed all those big diamonds on your hands before! Lucky gal❤

I bought the Zuvi after your recommendation, but I’m having the opposite results from you. My hair is so frizzy! My Dyson keeps my hair smooth, but this just doesnt smooth it out no matter what I do and I only have the slightest kink in my hair ( not even a wave) :( x

Mum, you must get the striped shoulder-pad top, it looks great on you! A little extra structure in the shoulders is really flattering on many of us. I’m glad shoulder pads are back, I just hope they don’t get carried away with them as in the 80s. I have a work lunch photo if me in a dress, blazer and trench, all with their own shoulder pads, goodness gracious. If they are extreme, they can’t always be removed because the shoulders will then be too wide and loose. Please, you brands, keep them small. My shoulders are nice and square, but they’re really narrow, so I have been adding the (small) pads to my unstructured blazers, etc. - it makes a big difference.
I'll never understand why businesses don't invest in really good lighting, I bet their sales would go through the roof, it makes such a difference. Hair salons too take note!!

I also love Zara but I'm not a fan of their change rooms (they are super hot due to the lighting here in Dublin) so I just order on line and return it to the shop.

Wow I actually had the same experience last weekend! Sore body, sore throat and Saturday night a headache kicked in that lasted until Tuesday! Had to miss out on my father-in-law’s birthday and I feel my mother-in-law blames me for it, while her precious son actually was the one who infected me in the first place! Anyway, let’s hope for a better weekend upcoming weekend! 😅 The curly hair looks amazing btw! ❤
