I’ve lost a lot of weight in the last year and a half and none of my previous wardrobe fit anymore. I’ve thrifted most of my closet these days but I’ve never had a more luxurious wardrobe in my life. I appreciate seeing your style videos to help me elevate my taste.

@@GwenMotoGirl Yes I could not afford to buy all new clothes when I lost weight. I would say I do fairly well at alterations. I took in a favorite pair of jeans , blouses , skirts etc..but no expert.

I can’t wait to see your list of essentials. I got rid of all my wardrobe except a few jeans and t-shirts cause it was all stuff I never wore. I’m ready to buy nice pieces that I’m excited to wear ❤
I just did the same thing! I literally donated 85% of my closet & am now buying high quality, beautiful pieces that I am also excited to wear. I have wasted so much money on buying clothes because I like them for a minute or they’re on sale, etc., but then I would never wear them. I would rather have a closet with maybe not as many options, but the options I do have are high-quality & pieces I love. 💕 Good luck to you!
I so wish I had a recommendation for bras but I am not crazy about most! I’ve never tried the Olga brand mentioned here tho so I would check those out! ❤️❤️
@@aniak6777I second Wacoal! I’m very picky and always have a hard time finding a good bra. The Red Carpet strapless bra from them is worth every penny!
What is the purpose of a knitted sleeveless top? To show off those amazing "guns" of yours, Anna, of course! Seriously, though, they work great under coats and blazers because of the reduced bulkiness in the sleeves. They're a nice transitional piece for the days when it's cool in the morning/evening but toasty during the day. Grover is such good boy!
As a Certified Bra Fitter, I would say Vanity Fair makes great wirefree bras and good quality pants. Wacoal makes great underwire bras and the best strapless bra. Both have Fit Events at certain retailers during certain times of the year. Look for sales at certain times of the year at those retailers.

I haven’t had a skinny day in a while 😂 I love the red cropped jeans on you❤ the maxi skirts , that beautiful green and yes to Sam Edelman shoes! I’m saving this one for when “I have nothing to wear” Thanks Anna ❤
Making a list. Straight leg jeans, maxi skirt, leopard pants. Maybe a silky shirt in olive. Love a sleeveless sweater top.I splurged on a pair of Vionic Uptown loafers. Comfy and stylish.
I think the thing about bra recommendations is that too, that so many of us have different tastes and different bodies going through different issues and any one recommendation may not work for a giant slew of people. Like, I've been wearing the auden target dupes of the skims bra that she showed and they are super comfortable. but I also found recently too, that I was also changing bra size too, so it's good to remeasure every now and then as well. That and they just never last long enough. I recently found for my low cut dressy stuff a really nice convertible strapless maidenform bra that works very very well for me. Because a lot of bras don't work for me because I have wide set boobs on an extremely short torso and I also hate a lot of Y back bras because they give me back and neck pain due to my hypermobility joint issues. It's awesome to find something that works though.
Great video Anna! It’s super helpful that you show how everything looks on you, not just a picture of the garment itself or a still fashion photo. And I love that you show things as part of an outfit. You’ve really helped me train my eye as to what looks current and what is on its way out. Thanks so much for great content and advice!
GROVER is so cute!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ OMG, LIFE HAPPENS and I will be sporting three layers of ACE wraps through early December. I either wear knits that stretch over the knee or I wear bike shorts under a skirt or dress. I wore a fun maxi to an Octoberfest party yesterday and it concealed everything. I will wear the Maxi's a lot. The green dress is beautiful! Great color on you; lots of layering possibilities. I like sleeveless tops with blazers too. It seems like holiday parties concentrate people in the kitchen with all the ovens and burners blazing. It doesn't take long for everyone to pop their jackets off and help out or clean up. Ha,ha... Maybe Outfits with Aprons could be an advice category. 😂. Sur La Table, Williams Sonoma and Macy's usually have aprons that are less than flattering. Is there anything out there that looks good without being too vintage or full of turkeys, reindeer or ruffles? Or is there a way to adapt tea towels? Amazon... But what would look good with a contemporary outfit? I have not checked Etsy. That was a fantastic review and you bring style, class and attractiveness to even basic apparel much less that which is already designed to be more elegant. Two favorites were the outfits with cuffed jeans and plain tees--just a really casual and light-hearted feel on those--and the knee-high boots with the medium length white dress with some contrasting trim and bowtie. It was half retro but looked great in my opinion. I've seen a few similar before but not often and I think it an excellent look.

💯 in on the sleeveless sweaters/pullovers for the exact same reasons you state. So nice not to have the bulk of sleeves under a blazer. Unless you live in super frigid temps, they’re fantastic & look super chic if you do get too warm and want to take off the blazer or jacket❤️
I love your style and appreciate all your tips and advice on outfits and style. However I would love to get your shoulder workout. They look great in this video.
They are bc you can wear ANY top of any color or fabric with just one pair of jeans, and you can have either a very casual outfit or a dressier outfit instantly. All tops go with jeans, but all tops don’t go with trousers. Jeans can be styled with anything from a tank top, to a linen shirt, to a silk blouse or whatever. So for most of us, they are an essential wardrobe staple. (But obviously, if you just don’t like jeans, then this is moot. )
