Correct on what? She spent all last week saying Mertz was better than Ward, that Wilson would be the most impactful, talented player on the field and that The Swamp would be too big for Cam Ward. Her feelings got in the way of facts and she ran her mouth all last week and now she's here saying Napier is in over his head and y'all are like, "you're 100% correct"-why aren't you taking her to task as yet another Gators journalist who talked MAD SHIT for a week and now refuses to fully own it or to tip the hat to Miami for beating the ever-loving shit out of Florida?
Ms. Ali I’m 29 years old, been going to Gator games since I was 3. I bleed this orange and blue and will continue to do so until it’s all over with. I have never seen the swamp that silent at full capacity. I have never seen my gators look that unprepared. I’ve never seen us get outclassed like that ever in my life. At home though? Rivalry game? Miami at that? SEASON OPENER…???? I believed everything that was being preached to us for the last 8 months. I believe this the first time that I’ve ever felt embarrassed to be a gator. This is what we’ve been used to the last 3 years. I’m numb to it. I used to get mad after every loss. I don’t even get mad now. This is bullshit.
@dee__194 ALL billy did was sell us a gallon of spoiled milk all off-season!! I'm a fan for 44 years now never have I heard Gator Nation at the swamp so quite to the point we where booing are own players at home so embarrassing time for billy either pack his bags or he needs seriously hire a damn good OC or promote his wife she probably do better seriously!!!
@@UnknUserx Change is DIFFICULT. Billy will make a lot of $$ to go home. A closer, competitive loss would have been acceptable but a blowout where Miami was just teasing the gators doesn't work for anybody. If Miami takes down the over hyped and over ranked Sillynoles like they did the Gators, then the old Miami swagger will be back. Everyone misses that the National Championship goes through Florida. A strong Miami will make that happen and the other state schools will get better as a result. Everyone wins with a strong Miami team. 1/2_SU win will show that. With Miami's relatively soft schedule they can definitely go undefeated regular season this year and be a playoff team.
Im in my late 70s. I saw Tebow, I saw Youngblood, I saw Marshall, I saw Smith, I saw Danny W., and yes I even saw Spurrier. I have been so blessed to have seen such men carry our colors. I saw no one yesterday worthy.
Agree 100% Ali....I too am a lifelong Gator, since I was a kid listening to gator games on the radio when the HBC was QB and I am now an alumni. I remember sitting in the stands through the Charlie Pell years, when we lost everything, but I never ever remember anything like the lack of effort and lack of fire that I saw yesterday. I've been willing to be patient and wait for Billy to get things moving in the right direction....instead, after all the changes made in the offseason and the improvements in the strength and conditioning that were reported throughout the summer, we're going backwards.....it's embarrassing and beyond sad....
But this is the same look he showed us at his introduction speech. He literally gave the exact same speech at two different pressers when he was hired. I’m not surprised at all by our performance. He was NEVER the guy.
It's over for Billy!!!! No offensive production, defense looked more confused than last year. As long as Billy is calling the plays we will not win. Its not solely on Mertz. Its more on all phases of the game. Billy and his staff are cooked after this.
Ali, thank you for your deeply heartfelt insights. Valid critiques include seeing a lot of players "loaf and take plays off," "the play calling was bad," and Napier "is the offensive coordinator." All three are terrible, and perhaps not just the last two, but all three go together; exactly because the play calling has "no rhythm, is jerky, and makes no sense." The players can see this, too; and it may be just as de-energizing and demotivating for them, if not more so, as it is for the fans. As has been said for years, it's absurd to have two offensive line (still, so far, "one of our biggest liabilities") coaches not showing results in year three, with one of the O-line coaches being the designated, so-called offensive coordinator. Meanwhile, it's absurd that Napier repeatedly ignores calls for a bonafide offensive coordinator who's a proven, SEC-level play caller. Napier's latest reported, bogus excuse is that he has good synergy with Mertz; as if a SEC-level play caller -- sort of like Dan Mullen with Chris Leak, Tim Tebow, and Kyle Trask -- would not??? Napier says far more often that players have to execute better than he says the coaches have to coach better; and I don't know that he's ever said the play caller has to execute better. Buyout or not, for Napier to save his job, he should be a CEO-type head coach, culture builder, character developer, and head recruiter (things he seems good at), have less on his own plate, and hire a proven SEC-level offensive coordinator and play caller. Napier seems to be in denial about that, to his, the team's, and the fans' great detriment. Am I, are we, repeating ourselves, to any avail? Because still, Napier gives us a product on the field that is not only little "to cheer about," but a product that is repeatedly frustrating and tiring. And now, Napier points the finger at the rural central Florida fan in the basement on social media. This is Napier not walking the character talk. He might want that one back. However, while I understand the logic that, in terms of short-term recovery time only, a [mild] concussion for Graham Mertz may be "a better case scenario" than a shoulder injury -- the aftermaths of concussions, especially multiple concussions, can be far more devastating. Critically, a "speedy recovery" isn't nearly important as a full recovery, and it can take up to a lifetime to determine that outcome. So, you might want to have that one back.
As a Georgia fan , I watched that game from an analyst point of view. Miami not only beat Florida , but in my honest opinion , with that QB Miami reminds me of the Joe Burrow LSU team but with better defense. TBH , this team scares me more than Ohio State or any other team I have seen so far. Cristobal and shored up the Big boy OL and DL and has special skill players that will make a deep run into the playoffs. Watch out for Miami. As per the words of the infamous Coach Prime , Miami is coming !
Early last season, I commented on one of your videos with a warning that UF needed to bite the bullet and fire Napier because the situation was only going to get worse - and here you are. I’m a UGA fan and as much as I respect Mark Richt, it was clear to many of us that he wasn’t going to get UGA to the next level and this was three years before he was fired. Like Napier, Richt was stubborn - refusing to fire coordinators in a timely manner, hiring ill-fitting coordinators, wouldn’t hire a special teams coach, not stopping stupid penalties, etc. Every year, the fans were told “The team is improved. This is our year to ascend.” Never happened and was never going to happen with Richt at the helm. Obviously, the timing of dismissing Richt and hiring Kirby worked out perfectly for us but you can’t count on that. We could easily be sitting here saying that UGA wasted three years by keeping Richt around. Like any other business, the right time to fire someone in CFB is the instant you know it’s the right call. If that time wasn’t last season and it isn’t right now, when is it?

My question is why are we paying these coaches so much on the first contract. If you haven’t proven anything yet why would they give a double digit multi million dollar contract. 26 million dollars buyout this year is ridiculous
I supported Billy every step of the way. I liked who he was bringing in, I liked the culture he was trying to build, but it's clear now it's just not going to work. We are still soft in the trenches, defense is still absolute garbage, I finally agree that he's got to go.

Hopefully not someone who's never head coached a top football program like Napier. A bigtime football school like Florida that's located in the middle of a recruiting hotbed should be able to attract head coaches who've proven themselves at the highest level. They should've have to take risks on small school coaches or assistants for a head coach.

Always like the content, Ali! Thanks for calling a spade a spade. The Gators actually looked progressively worse than last year in all areas except special teams. The worst home loss in UF history! Time to drain the swamp and start all over again!
Mario built that team from the inside out. He recruited linemen on both sides really hard and everyone glossed over it the last 2 years. Florida needs to build that same way too. And we need to use the transfer portal!!!!!! Get with the damn times already Jesus Christ. Stop being afraid to spend for recruits and transfers. The moment we start doing that is the moment we’ll be back. We have all the resources
The Canes had that problem too. I remember years ago Miami & Bama played in the opener. All the Bama guys looked bigger & thicker…even the skill position guys.
Thank you Ali. An amazing an honest breakdown of what it looks and feels like to be a Gator fan right now. I am all for supporting a coach in the good and the bad, but they have to give something back. Standing complacently on the sideline while that massacre was happening on the field is not what I am accustomed to seeing or willing to support. If you are not investing your heart and soul and showing us the emotion of that investment, then it's time to move on to something that better fits you and let us find someone who better fits us. Even my Mom who doesn't follow football at all, but was watching the game in South Florida said it's one thing to get beat, but another to get beat up. Looking for someone to Make The Gators Great Again!
Wow.. it was rough watching the game… I’ve been a Cane my whole life and was disappointed with the effort Florida showed on the field. Sad.. Wanted to see more of a fight from uf
Ali, I think tape review will show that Lagway faced Miami’s first team defense….at least Jesse Palmer, who was calling the game in the booth for ABC, stated that. Special teams was indeed a strength for UF as you said and that was good to see. The last two seasons have been disappointing, but I’ve been willing to step back and allow “time” to reveal just who Napier is. I think to a great degree we saw once again Billy Napier wearing his coaching hat, and how deficient he is in displaying quality coaching characteristics. He is a relationship person and that is why his recruiting has been a bit better than average. He has shown tremendous weakness at assembling a great coaching staff, developing talent, game day preparation and having a feel for the game. His inability to put a fired-up, competitive product on the field (offensive and defensive personnel) is inexcusable.
@@jimmyjam5453 Do you see excitement on my face? Seeing Lagway play in the opener only meant that UF was gettin’ a new butthole tore in ‘em. He has much more talent than Mertz, but was not ready play.
I say this with nothing but respect. UF, UM and FSU are far more alike than not. Everything she said, if you changed the colors to Orange and Green was the same things said on many a UM podcast the last 20 years. I know for a fact these same things have been said on FSU podcasts in some of their lean years, only the colors were Garnet and Gold. Respect to UF, as a Canes fan I hope you get right and all three big state programs can be elite at the same time like it used to be back in the day. I miss the national championship running through the state of Florida.
You told Coach Coop that the talent level of Florida and Miami are pretty much the same, and the Swamp will make the difference. We who know What is going on in Coral Gables told you Gators you have no idea what was coming to the Swamp. Yesterday you all found out. Miami is a force that will not be denied. This team is like the one from the 80's and early 90's. Take off the badges, and you would think Miami is a top level SEC team.
Ali, love your passion and follow you. As a lifelong Canes fan. All three of our programs have had great success and bad times. It is time to move on from Billy. Hopefully he can be gracious the way Mark Richt was by stepping down and not destroying our program with huge buy outs etc. We need all the big 3 and even UCF and USF to be relevant as Fl is still the hotbed of recruiting. I’m sure you guys will get it right with the right changes and time.
I believe Miami's first string defense was on the field when Lagaway came into the game. I also think it was Miami's 1st team defense that Lagaway scored the touchdown drive on. I could be wrong...
Unfortunately you hit the nail on the head. I knew after 10 minutes it was a loss just because the lack of effort and the speed of Miami on both sides of the ball. Gators looked like they took a week off from last year's team and played yesterday, same team, disappointing. Nap's downfall will be his pride in not hiring an OC.
Superb analysis. Correct and fair on every point. I felt we knew what Billy had to offer by the middle of last season. Now, we see a continuation of the grim trends. Billy lacks the passion and leadership skills to climb out off this slow death spiral. Finally, we also know we need a new AD. Stricklin recently declared Florida’s “patience with Billy Napier is going to be rewarded” signaling that a new AD will be required to see the obvious and to take corrective action. Stricklin is also the man who fired a coach who had taken us to three consecutive bowls in favor of Napier.
I was on Billy’s side until yesterday. He has showed me what he is as a coach. I bought tickets to the Texas a/m game before season started but I want waste my hard earned money to buy any more this year.
As far as the effort conversation goes: how is this surprising? Steven Harris told us what he saw in the scrimmage and it was exactly that and coaches and teammates saying nothing about it. Napier is exactly like his mentor, Jim McElwain.
@@mikec.2725 he was being optimistic. Go back and watch him talking about George walking off after making a mistake and the only person who said something to him was Harris. He walked by (according to Harris) 3 coaches and multiple teammates. This was after the last scrimmage on Hightop.
For a Florida gator fan you’re really honest the play were Mertz got hurt offense lineman didn’t even block for him. I’m a hurricane fan, but there’s no excuse for quitting on your team.
That game broke me. And as a teenager this feels like its going to be forever until i see a well structured team, that isn't getting cooked on defense and cant move the ball on offense
I was a ball boy on the 1979 0-10-1 team. Dont give up hope. We will be back- we had a great 30 year run as a top 2-3 team in the country- that doesn’t last forever-
Ali, truly it was a beat down because of bad play calling and several other issues as you noted. Seems like they gave up early and that only let Miami take control. As a Cane fan, I was very hesitant and believed that although they had great players coming in. Could Miami with all the new players Gel in time to make a difference in the game.?...For twenty years Miami played like history would win games. The program lived in the past and didn't conform to modern-day football. The facilities, training, and resources needed to have a winning program is more than wearing a U on the helmet. Florida will be OK in time. They must get off the Mat and go out and play football because they have a murderous schedule. Best wishes and keep the faith. It takes times like these to see the need for change. The Canes look good but we say this every year, the jury is still out. I like your commentary as I look at you and Coop on an earlier program....Thank you ALi....Bernard
I was raised a Gators fan by my dad and I brought him to our first FL game against Miami for his 60th. Heard all the stories about the Swamp so it was really sad to see how lifeless it was, but there was nothing to cheer for.
"If he didn't overthrow, underthrow, or throw behind his receiver each time they tried to throw past 20 yards, Florida could have scored more points". And if Cam Ward would have never thrown an incompletion, the Canes would have won by 100. We got ourselves a real analyst here guys.
1.) it starts in the trenches. We are unbelievably weak. O-line could hold the pressure the D brought. D-line, forget it… Ward had enough time to order Chinese takeout before making a decision with the ball. 2.) We have 1,374 coaches… could we get like one or two of them to actually Coach? Why does every single position constantly look lost?! 3.) On a good note, the team was able to figure out how to field the right amount of players. Let’s take a moment to really appreciate that this was “coached up.” 4.) Fans- I’m the most guilty at buying the off-season hype… I actually believed that we were going to be a lot better than people expected. I could not have been more wrong. We actually may be the worst team in the entire SEC. I’m actually worried about being able to compete with Samford next week. A team we should beat by 28 points we may only have a 14ish point win or worse, lose. We are stuck here. We must learn to accept it. Coach Napier won’t be released because we can’t afford to lose him. We will be paying him as well as Mullen and with the hire-refire mentality, we won’t be able to acquire the Coach we actually need. Just buckle up fellow Gators. We have 5 more years of this situation before a change can or will be made. We just have to learn to love being what we are now… Go Gators 🐊
Being a die-hard gator fan since the 1980s it's sicking me to see how we played yesterday! Everything you said was spot on! I feel that the players don't believe in the coach so they don't believe in his system therefore they don't believe they can win! For me it's always orange and blue blue and orange and I am a gator blue and through but the problem is just like you said no fire! It's kind of hard to have a great blaze if there's no fuel and our boys are playing real soft and calm and demure like their coach x! For me it's always go Gators but Billy Napier should have been fired in 2021 lol! We should have never brought him here! The point you make that the coaches are not SEC coaches range true. I think his dad old Strickland a favor or something! Go Gators
Been waiting on your view on yesterday game I must say you did calm me down a bit. I think Billy Napier needs to go I am sure we will loose a few players but I believe we need to do what we need to do
I remember watching Tennessee completely falling apart throughout the 2000’s and thinking to myself “man how do you let your program fall so hard?” Today I look at my own team and ask the same question. We’ve become Tennessee to the point that idk if any big name coach would even risk taking the job.
Tennessee Fan here. I mentioned on this channel 3 years ago that you were getting a more polished Derek Dooley and oh I was so criticized. Now here we are.
Perfect comparison ,Billy Napier with Florida is Derek Dooley with Tennessee all over again. Dooley was in over his head at Tennessee and Napier is the same way at Florida.
I called this last year. This year will be the worst year the Gators have ever seen.💯 There is no QB problem on the Gators. The team just sucks and doesn't have any talent.
Nailed it when you said we didn’t expect a win, but we did expect to be competitive. I love Nape as a person also, but our ROI is not there currently. No Coach in UF history has been given more resources. It shouldn’t be this painful.
Teams often take on the personality of their coach. Yesterday UF was flat, dull, and just all around uninspiring - just like Billy. There is literally nothing that we can take away from yesterday’s performance that gives us any confidence that this team can win more than 2 or 3 games. Hopefully things either take a serious 180 and we see a drastic improvement week to week, or the big brass at UF makes the call to move on and find someone who is more capable of leading the Gators.
I was hopeful that the changes to the Strength & Conditioning program would make our lines "tougher." Nope! We got whipped in the trenches ...... AGAIN! The bright spot of the day was the Punter. That guy probably kept the score from being even more lopsided. I've said it before ..... I really want/need Napier to figure it out and "make it." But the Gators didn't look any better prepared on Saturday than they have the previous two years.
All off-season I swallowed the hopium. And then, in front of 90,544, they give up the most points in an opener. Ever. 117 years. Seriously, how can we keep propping up this complete disappointment of a leader. Guy seems slow, and woefully out of his depth as a game manager.
I agree Ali. Billy is a very nice person and has the a concern for the players not only as athletes but also as men. Unfortunately, feel as well that he is over his head. He loves recruiting. That's great. Obviously for the most part he is bringing in players who don't fit what the Gator standard is all about. It's sad. Wish him well, but...........
Miami just had the better players and was just a better football team. It's going to take ⏲️ and patience for Florida to be elite again. Just hang tough. Go canes
Billy set the Gators up to Fail in spectacular Fashion *!*!* no one would sign up a schedule to play 8 ranked teams when they aren't even ranked.. he was thinking I'm getting fired so I'm burning down the ship and sinking the 10yrs of the Team as his revenge for getting fired this season.. premeditated fosho.. evil genius... he is fired and knows it unless they go 10-3 or whatever. But witg this schedule and his style not happening on this scale... well played.. can't believe the University signed off on his schedule picks. Last 5wks all heavy hitters. Thanks for noting.. but i love the Gators, and this is another season gone before we even start.. i posted this same txt a week ago.. just so people with slow mi ds can understand he had this planned out. Ali You're Correct 💯💯💯💯, You should've been even Harder ,More Players Should've been Called Out BY NAME ,If you're Old Enough to Vote You're Old Enough To Be Held ACCOUNTABLE BY NAME.
Nailed it. After the game I saw gator fans shaking their heads and laughing, and it looks to me like the fans no longer feel the football program is a part of the University or Gator Nation as a whole. More like a very expensive extension of the athletic program that uses up a lot of resources but puts forth little in return. I talked to a person involved with Gator Boosters who said that replacing Napier would set the program back three years. My response to him was “At this point I don’t think it would make much difference.” The end of last season everyone had hopes changes would be made, and the one change we were hoping for, but never got, was the hiring of an offensive coordinator. Fans were gaslit about how much better this team has gotten with the coaching and player changes. He’s not going to admit he’s the problem so let’s muddle through this season and try to get Lane Kiffin to take over. They can’t blame the unreasonable fan base for this one. The fans have been incredibly patient for over a decade hoping for something better only to be let down time and time again by the last four head coaches.
Great breakdown, Ali! Thanks for speaking your mind. Here are my biggest takeaways. It’s clear that this staff has an inability to develop players. If you remember, Prince made a comment about this when he got to Ole Miss. there’s talent there but they regress under this staff. That alone is a fireable offense. Also, while the game was out of hand, you could clearly tell they dumbed down the playbook for DJ. And what happened? We had our best drive of the game. Billy is not cut to be a play caller. Our offense is somehow the most overly complicated yet vanilla offense I have ever seen. Didn’t think that was possible. Long story short, the ship has sailed with this staff, there was no sighs of progress from the last two years.
My favorite quote after a Miami beat down win over the Gators came from my dad. He said: "you know what you get when a hurricane hits a swamp don't you? A flood...." It's been a long time since we beat the Gators this bad, so Gator fans please let us enjoy our moment in the sun. GO CANES! 🙌

Wow.. it was rough watching the game… I’ve been a Cane my whole life and was disappointed with the effort Florida showed on the field. Sad.. Wanted to see more of a fight from uf
Even Vandy is improving. I feel like Florida is the new Vandy.
And every fan who called out his flaws since day 1 was called unrealistic and to trust his process.
By the time lagway came into the game Miami pretty much was on cruise control so I wouldn't get too excited.
@@jimmyjam5453 Do you see excitement on my face? Seeing Lagway play in the opener only meant that UF was gettin’ a new butthole tore in ‘em. He has much more talent than Mertz, but was not ready play.

We who know What is going on in Coral Gables told you Gators you have no idea what was coming to the Swamp. Yesterday you all found out. Miami is a force that will not be denied. This team is like the one from the 80's and early 90's. Take off the badges, and you would think Miami is a top level SEC team.
You hit the nail on head. This Florida team is garbage.

Thanks. Congrats on the W!
You say there hasn’t been any progress for 21/2 years but pumped up the program all offseason !
I believe Miami's first string defense was on the field when Lagaway came into the game. I also think it was Miami's 1st team defense that Lagaway scored the touchdown drive on. I could be wrong...
I told y’all. A stadium will not win you the game. 🙌
We’ve been there before. It sucks.

We were there for 20 years it really sucks
I sure would not travel across state lines to see a game RN.
As far as the effort conversation goes: how is this surprising? Steven Harris told us what he saw in the scrimmage and it was exactly that and coaches and teammates saying nothing about it. Napier is exactly like his mentor, Jim McElwain.
Reallly? I thought Harris was high on them? I must not have read between the lines. Darn it.
@@mikec.2725 he was being optimistic. Go back and watch him talking about George walking off after making a mistake and the only person who said something to him was Harris. He walked by (according to Harris) 3 coaches and multiple teammates. This was after the last scrimmage on Hightop.

It takes times like these to see the need for change. The Canes look good but we say this every year, the jury is still out. I like your commentary as I look at you and Coop on an earlier program....Thank you ALi....Bernard
The biggest thing that stood out to me was lack of creativity in play calls, and how slow the Dline was just hand fighting.
Let’s take a moment to really appreciate that this was “coached up.”
4.) Fans- I’m the most guilty at buying the off-season hype… I actually believed that we were going to be a lot better than people expected.
We just have to learn to love being what we are now…

I remember watching Tennessee completely falling apart throughout the 2000’s and thinking to myself “man how do you let your program fall so hard?” Today I look at my own team and ask the same question. We’ve become Tennessee to the point that idk if any big name coach would even risk taking the job.

I agree with all of this.

Look at body and face he makes no surprise or getting angry normal reactions to getting whooped like this when your job is on tge line he got his 30plus million and is o. Coast right now..
REALITY IS SINKING IN !!
DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER !! 😂😂
Ali You're Correct 💯💯💯💯, You should've been even Harder ,More Players Should've been Called Out BY NAME ,If you're Old Enough to Vote You're Old Enough To Be Held ACCOUNTABLE BY NAME.
More like if you are old enough to get 30,000 a month in NIL, you are old enough to be called out 😂😂 I still feel bad though…
My response to him was “At this point I don’t think it would make much difference.”
The end of last season everyone had hopes changes would be made, and the one change we were hoping for, but never got, was the hiring of an offensive coordinator.
We are calling it, "The Stomp in the Swamp".... GO CANES !
😂😂😂😂
My favorite quote after a Miami beat down win over the Gators came from my dad. He said: "you know what you get when a hurricane hits a swamp don't you? A flood...." It's been a long time since we beat the Gators this bad, so Gator fans please let us enjoy our moment in the sun. GO CANES! 🙌
@@candaceh1943 what’s funny is that Ward told the gators d line the play when Fletcher scored the touchdown. That’s how much respect this offense had for their defense.😊
The scary thing is that this past game was considered one of the "easier games" on the schedule
This is what we get. We should have never fired Mullen or Muschamp.
This needs to be sent to all the staff and players. Maybe it would open their eyes. I totally agree with everything you said.
The team got the personality of the HC!!! Billy just care if the players have character and come from a good family
100%
Truly great analysis n not so bad to look at either
"You rip their ass" 😂😂😂 Agreed.
Couldn't agree with you more. I sat in those stands for the first time in over 20 years yesterday. First time I was able to have a free weekend during football season I met Spurrier and Napier on Thursday, they both seemed optimistic and the whole weekend was shaping up to be unforgettable. It was. Keep speaking the truth; always enjoy hearing your point of view.
Y’all lucky Bain was hurt. Or else Mertz would have been in more trouble. 🙌
Thank you Ali, one day it'll all be better ☀️
One coach, in his third year, prepared his team to compete in Gainesville. The other coach, in his third year, was chewing gum on the sidelines.
Florida is in a very tough spot. Recruiting is going to suffer if Billy stays or departs.
I don’t think he’ll get released. Who is gonna make that call?
The natives have been restless plenty of times in the past but now, with social media, the Noise in the System is deafening…Jet engine deafening. Oh and I miss Mick Hubert calling the game on radio…
Looks like my boy Coach Coop was right Miami took the W but he was way too generous on his score prediction tho Go Canes take the L 🧡💚🙌🏻
Napier is a fifty- one million dollar mistake with a twenty- six million dollar buy out. Painful but true.
