Dude I wasn’t able to make it but that was literally the first sporting event I watched that was so loud just over the tv you could tell it was a madhouse in there. Insane
yep my ears were ringing, the only thing thats come close to that for me is seeing the canes in hard rock last season. That place is loud af when they sell out check out the notre dame game.
I was row 16 in the south end zone and I’ve been going to games for 10 years now and I can tell you that was the loudest and craziest I’ve ever seen the swamp. Every time I watch that I get chills!!
I swear you could feel the stadium shake when Quezzie caught that pass against FSU. When Busby threw the interception to end the game, the stadium was rumbling again. I lost my voice as a 19 yr old sophomore. What a game and the party continued well into the evening down University Ave.
I'm a student there now, and I'm so happy I've been part of some of these. One you forgot though was the triple overtime game vs. Kentucky in the 2014-2015 season. That'll also be one for the ages, and it was the loudest I've ever heard it.
I was present for some of these. The loudest I ever heard The Swamp was November 30, 1991. fsu was #3, UF was #5; Florida up 14-9 had to make a red zone stand with around two minutes left to hold on and ruin fsu's national championship hopes. The sustained noise at the end of that drive, as the crowd tried to do their part, was what I remember most.
I have to agree, MG. I was at all of those and the loudest ever was that game you mentioned. MY ears were ringing. When they knocked down that last pass to mobile home (Matt Frier) boy it was unreal loud.
Weston Powers I was too!! I remember everyone bitching while taking a piss at halftime that it was only 7-7. Should have been blowing them out they were saying. What a game.
Kerwin’s comeback against Auburn in 1986 (albeit pre-Swamp) was LAF. The “explosion” during Perine’s run this year reminded me of Kerwin’s 2-point conversion...18-17 Gators!
Great video. I was at every game except the 97 FSU game. 2002 Auburn game I was in that end zone where Taylor caught it. That year was nuts. Won all the games we were supposed to lose, lost all the ones we were supposed to win. People falling down rows every where. the 2011 Bama game, that one shining moment the Swamp came unhinged, it was all downhill after that but yes, deafening for one play. 2015 Tennessee game had Big Ben Right and the missed 55 yarder to end it. And 2017 Tennessee was one of the ugliest games I've ever seen but lining up the ball in the air to realizing is was going to fall right in Tyrie's lap was amazing. Then there's the cock block game. Nothing will ever touch that. Florida lost in Columbia the year before, title on the line. The whole game was always a one possession game. You drown roared the whole game. During the field goal was a other worldly experience. You could scream at the top of your lungs and not hear yourself. The sound went from a tsunami of screaming to pure silence at the snap as everyone took a deep breath then a volcanic eruption of noise. Great video. Very well put together.
I was a student at UF from '95-'00. Before criticizing why I was there for five years, it's called an engineering degree, LOL. I was at the '95 vs UT, '97 vs UT, and '97 vs FSU. Absolutely insane! I actually thought the '97 vs UT was the loudest I'd ever heard the Swamp. My ears rang for two days afterwards, and that's no exaggeration.
I'm not a witness to all the loudest moments at the Swamp, but out of all the games I attended the absolute loudest moment I experienced was back in 1997 when the Gator defensive was putting on a huge defensive stance on the Noles, up until the noles ran 80 yards for the winning touchdown you couldn't think because of not only the noise but the sure shaking of the stadium, I remember yelling at my brother and sister but it was no use you couldn't hear your loudest yell even right in your ear. and yeah, Spurrier even made comment how that was the loudest he had heard, I was at the 97 FSU game too. perhaps it's been louder since those days but up until then, that was the loudest for me.
Most of them i remember but the Cleveland one and the Will Grier TD was amazing. Wish i was there to see it live but still those moments i lost it, i couldnt believe they pulled it out and against Sloppy Top
excellent video! thanks for putting this together. i've been a fan since '95. my top 3 favorite moments were '97-FSU, '06 CAR, and that '02 fg block. looking forward to seeing the gators improve with coach mullen. cheers from southern ontario, canada.
I gotta say.. there was one more play you forgot. That 1997 game against FSU when Dwayne Thompson intercepted Thad Busby’s pass to put the game on ice. The tv camera’s starting shaking when they had it showing Spurrier. As Mick Hubert says, “it was an insane asylum!”
Awesome highlights. Have to add UF vs UT 1999 when UT came in as the defending national champs. Tee Martin said The Swamp was no different than playing at Kentucky's Commonwealth Stadium. I believe it was 4th and 3 with UT driving and the UF defense swallowed up Jamel Lewis. The Swamp erupted. This was the coming out party of Alex Brown where he sacked Tee Martin 5 times.
Poor Tennessee. I wished our end zone was closed in 1991. Both the LSU and Tennessee games were loud. But when we closed that end zone things got ugly, lol.
The loudest I have EVER heard the swamp and was born and raised here I'm 24 now...was the tipped field goal back AT THE END OF THE GAME 2007-something AGAIST SOUTH CAROLINA SPURRIER COACHED by either brandon spikes or someone else famous on the defense. Was a kid at the time with my dad. IT CAUSED AN ABSOLUTE COMMOTION AND I WAS SQUEALING MY BRAINS OUT WHEN I SAW THE PLAY!!! I BLEED ORANGE AND THE SKY I SEE IS BLUE GOOOOOO GATOORSSSS
I can’t remember when but I heard that one game it was so crazy with everyone jumping that it registered a small amount on a Richter scale looking like a small earthquake. It was called like “the game that shook the world” or something. The swamp is so awesome. GO GATORS!!!!!
One magic moment from my undergrad days: Auburn came into town ranked #4. UF QB Kerwin Bell was out with a knee injury. His backup, Rodney Brewer, had two fumbles and two INTs as the Gators committed six turnovers IN THE FIRST HALF ALONE! Bell finally hobbled onto the field to cheers, but Auburn marched out to a 17-0 lead at the start of the fourth quarter. A QB sneak and a career long FG by ex-Auburn kicker Robert McGinty made it 17-10, but AU had the ball on the UF side of the field with under two minutes to go and all seemed lost. Then the Tigers fumbled with 1:34 left on the clock, the Gators recovered, and the rest... is right here. ruclips.net/video/dvE5ob0VQ-o/видео.html
Tony George was my dad favorite gator!!! He use to do a tuff guy walk after a big play.!!! All American !!! He was so good we played at fsu 1 year dey sent the bench players to fight him before before the game!!! Facts .
Oh then a huge gator fan since the early 90s when I was a really small kid and for I haven’t had a whole lot of great home wins as far as dramatic moments. At least I don’t think so maybe somebody else would disagree
appetite for destruction another game that doesn’t get much recognition is the 1991 FSU game in the swamp. The Gators stop FSU in the red zone for their first 10 win season ever and derailing FSU’s national title hopes at the same time.
1997 in The Greatest Game Ever Played In The State of Florida is the loudest that The Swamp has ever gotten. Beating #1 FSU and derailing their national championship run at the end of their season pretty seals it as probably the greatest game Florida has even played in The Swamp for that matter, even though we won neither a national title nor an SEC.
Adam Mauer really given the situation he would’ve been better off going down. They could’ve ran out the clock but instead gave LSU a Chance only down 8 with a chance to tie. Luckily it didn’t happen
Gonna have to add Lamical Perine's game-clinching TD run against Auburn too
Yes. The double crowd boom was insane
@@williamnicholson8701 i was there and holy crap it was loud
I was there and that was the first time I’ve ever felt a stadium shake
The Swamp hit the “so loud you can’t hear” decibels when he broke the 2nd tackle
I was there, loudest moment in sports I've ever witnessed 😂
Gotta add the Brad Stewart pick six from 2018 UF vs LSU. Havent heard it that loud since wright hit kent
A Sanderson don’t forget about the cock block in 2006
A Sanderson Tennessee Hail Mary was crazy
sorry didn't see this comment. i pretty much wrote the same thing
Yeah that was pretty loud. Loudest I've witnessed personally.
@@RBSmada The run by Perine against Auburn too
Cock Block was the loudest I ever heard! Great video. Please lets get back to these days
Got my first taste of how loud the swamp really was when franks threw the hail mary to beat tennessee
Twist craziest moment of my life. I cried
Twist I was there and was dead ass crying and we were all hugging and shit 😂 I lost my voice and all
I was row 16 in the south end zone and I’ve been going to games for 10 years now and I can tell you that was the loudest and craziest I’ve ever seen the swamp. Every time I watch that I get chills!!

Been going to games at the swamp since 1980 . Easily the best game ever at the swamp that I saw
This is the one ticket I regret selling, also as a sophomore that year 🤦♂️. This game will always be known as the greatest game at The Swamp.
Were you there for Ward to Dunn?🤣
I'm a student there now, and I'm so happy I've been part of some of these. One you forgot though was the triple overtime game vs. Kentucky in the 2014-2015 season. That'll also be one for the ages, and it was the loudest I've ever heard it.
Yeah, that was absolutely insane. I remember it ended at 1AM and my friends and I went back to our off-campus appt and jumped in the pool.
That wasn't a loud game
I was present for some of these. The loudest I ever heard The Swamp was November 30, 1991. fsu was #3, UF was #5; Florida up 14-9 had to make a red zone stand with around two minutes left to hold on and ruin fsu's national championship hopes. The sustained noise at the end of that drive, as the crowd tried to do their part, was what I remember most.
'91 FSU probably loudest ever. '85 Tennessee was loud. I was on field and couldn't even hear the guy next to me.
That was my first game as a kid. Ill never forget it
I have to agree, MG. I was at all of those and the loudest ever was that game you mentioned. MY ears were ringing. When they knocked down that last pass to mobile home (Matt Frier) boy it was unreal loud.
I was there for the blocked field goal vs. SC. It was madness.
Weston Powers I was too!! I remember everyone bitching while taking a piss at halftime that it was only 7-7. Should have been blowing them out they were saying. What a game.
Same. I was only 9 at the time but shit I can remember it vividly. Great memory
I was there when u was born it was madness
Was also there. Complete insanity. #1 moment at Ben Hill for me
My sophomore year. Good times.
Great vid! The 2006 “Cock Block” is the loudest that place has gotten in my mind. Spurriers return to the Swamp and Jarvis Moss!!!
My personal fave too - a little biased since I was there!
This was the first big college game I attended, and I have been hooked on the Gators ever since!
Glad to be at the last one. I remember joking of Franks making a Hail Mary for he was soooo bad that game. The unbelievable happen.
Love this. One more overlooked moment.. 1999 vs Vols. Gators stop Vols on 4th down to get ball back to run out clock.
James Carlin I remember that 1 Tennessee was the defending champions that year.
99 was one of the loudest all around crowds in Swamp history. Was 14 for that game. Was so loud nad so hyped all game.
Peyton NEVER beat the gators!!😂😂
Kerwin’s comeback against Auburn in 1986 (albeit pre-Swamp) was LAF. The “explosion” during Perine’s run this year reminded me of Kerwin’s 2-point conversion...18-17 Gators!
Same stadium.
I was in the Swamp for the South Carolina field goal at 2:50 and it's the loudest thing I've heard in my life. Completely deafening.
Was at the 97 FSU game. Was outrageously loud when Quez caught that ball.
I was there also! My brother came to visit that weekend and we went. Awesome night.
I think it may have been louder a few minutes later when Thomas intercepted a pass to end the game. I thought the swamp was going to crumble.
Great video. I was at every game except the 97 FSU game. 2002 Auburn game I was in that end zone where Taylor caught it. That year was nuts. Won all the games we were supposed to lose, lost all the ones we were supposed to win. The Jarvis Moss block would have been my guess, before even seeing the full list. I know it's the loudest I ever screamed in my family room.
The energy in The Swamp can be insane
Yes,,, hopefully we can bring some of that back soon😂
The game against Ole Miss when they just beat Alabama and were ranked #3 was insane. Grier was our QB and we dominated the whole game.
Ole Miss didn't live up to their ranking though 😬
I was there for both the Auburn and USC blocks. I’ll never forget the stadium shaking. I love being a Gator fan and graduate
2006 "Cock Block" was the loudest moment.
Update on the video for the pick 6 to beat LSU I was there !!!
yes sir ..bedlam
It was insane I was there
So was I Greatest game I’ve ever been to in the swamp
Will greer to calloway td was the loudest ive ever heard!! Still gives me chills

I was at both the recent Tennessee games. The play to Callaway was the loudest thing I've ever heard in my life. Pandemonium!
Loudest I've ever heard a stadium was when Callaway caught the 63 yard TD to go up on Tennessee in 2015. Literally couldn't hear myself think
Interesting that of all the loud moments with SOS coaching for us the loudest may have been when he was coaching USCe and we blocked the FG.
Tebow's last touchdown against FSU. I was there for it, they showed the noise on the jumbo-tron. Loudest I've ever heard a building.

I was there from 2002 to 2008, and the three loudest I experienced were 2002 Auburn, 2003 FSU (ugh), and 2006 South Carolina.
UF!!! Great vid always a subscriber takes time to do this lots of time I respect the effort you put in
This may be the greatest college football stadium of all time. I've had the lucky opportunity to attend 2 games in the president's suite.
Grown up as a Gator and will always be a Gator respect from all!
Stewart’s pick six in ‘18 and Perine’s 88 yard TD in ‘19 are up there too.
Football is really great to watch. 💙
08 LSU and 12 LSU
3:25 I had student tickets that year... we lost, but damn did I scream my lungs out at that
Great work! Lucky to say I’ve been to two of these games can’t wait for more
Time to update this video. 2019 Auburn.

It’s weird I’ve been there for almost every single one of these moments 😂
I can’t remember when but I heard that one game it was so crazy with everyone jumping that it registered a small amount on a Richter scale looking like a small earthquake. It was called like “the game that shook the world” or something. The swamp is so awesome. GO GATORS!!!!!
I WAS THERE. Shout out to my friend Josh. HELL OF A MOMENT
1999 Tennessee game was extraordinarily loud start to finish. Alex Brown was in beast mode all day long.
One magic moment from my undergrad days: Auburn came into town ranked #4. UF QB Kerwin Bell was out with a knee injury. Rumor has it Peyton still has nightmares of his trips to the swamp...
I said so many bad words when Callaway scored on 4th and 14. I was blown away. I couldn't believe it!
I was there in 2015 and watched my gators win, every time I'm in The Swamp, it's never this stadium is loud, it's holy shit this stadium is rockin!
Nice work! Love it. So many great memories.
Thanks for watching! Go gators
Gotta add the pick 6 against lsu to seal the game in 2018. I was there and couldn’t hear a thing afterwards
Love these Florida videos keep it up
Can't wait to get back to the old Gators
Great video! Might need to edit to add in the Brad Stewart INT against LSU this year. Go Gators!
For the longest time I thought Franks took a dive in the endzone, but could never confirm it from the TV footage.
Ward to Dunn pre snap and when Ward almost got sacked. Can't hear the noise the same vs the more recent videos(technology).
I believe that's the last time the Gators beat Auburn. Makes me sad. The video sure as hell doesn't. Great job!!!!
Jonathan Williams well we won last week. 🐊🐊🐊😁😁😁
So many incredible games in the Swamp!
Where is the interception by Reggie Nelson (The eraser) against Alabama? I think it was his Junior year?
Loudest moments for me personally: Brad Stewart pick-6 on Joe Burrow, and Lamical Perine busting that 70-80 yard TD run against Auburn.
in quarantine. missing this so much :(
RIP John Curtis blocked SC FG
🙏🏾
0:34 that moment when you see god for a second!
Love MY GATORS!! Been a fan since '92 something about that gator head caught my attention when I was a youth.
Now you gotta put LSU in. That game was old school loud
Gotta add 2018 LSU , loudest I’ve ever heard the swamp .
I was at the Florida vs Florida State game in 1997. Thought my eardrums was gonna bust!! 😊
I was at 2 of these games. Gosh I'm ready for Gator football to start back up lol
I HAAAVE to SUBSCRIBE after this "LOUD and CLEAR" KICKASSS GATORS Compilation... THANX!!
I love how no one even thought about a flag after that first hit lol
You are a genius for making this video!!!!!
Lol I was at that 2015 Tennessee game and it was the loudest thing I have ever heard. I actually just in front of those people in the video.
Tony George was my dad favorite gator!!! He use to do a tuff guy walk after a big play.!!! All American !!! He was so good we played at fsu 1 year dey sent the bench players to fight him before before the game!!! Facts .
Awesome vid
Thanks!
Bro, check the Georgia game. I think it may have been 94. It was so loud that it was ear piercing.
Pretty sure there was an interception that sealed the game for us after Fred Taylor scored the TD at 5:00
The one you use as your intro is the best one, why didn’t you include that?
Florida vs Alabama the Pierce run I remember how loud it was it was louder than the Auburn game
Oh then a huge gator fan since the early 90s when I was a really small kid and for I haven’t had a whole lot of great home wins as far as dramatic moments. At least I don’t think so maybe somebody else would disagree
1997 against FSU is the only one that matters.
Fuck FSU
appetite for destruction another game that doesn’t get much recognition is the 1991 FSU game in the swamp. The Gators stop FSU in the red zone for their first 10 win season ever and derailing FSU’s national title hopes at the same time.
1997 in The Greatest Game Ever Played In The State of Florida is the loudest that The Swamp has ever gotten. I believe you have to add Brad Steward INT against LSU 2018
Great editing
Scott Stricklin is killing it slowly but surelyp
Kent still feeling that hit today!
That hit on Kent, stopped him from having children.
Surprised the brad Stewart pick six to beat number 6 LSU isn’t on here but damn good list still
Adam Mauer really given the situation he would’ve been better off going down. They could’ve ran out the clock but instead gave LSU a Chance only down 8 with a chance to tie. Luckily it didn’t happen
Hopefully 2018 LSU game will get added?
Might have to update this with Stewart's Pick 6
5:20. I was there for that game. Holy crap was it loud.
'85 Tennessee and '86 Auburn were pretty deafening. FSU '91 could have been loudest.
If you have never experienced the swamp, even if your not a gator... it's well worth it.
Glad everyone enjoyed! My next one will be the Hardest Hits, if anyone has suggestions :)
Lowkey annoyed they don’t jump the feild ever that would be wild the swamp jumping the field
