I've always thought the timeline was pretty meh, so I don't really care too much about this. But I'm happy for the people who are. I am excited about the Master Works in general though for TotK. I had a blast with TotK and learning more about this game? And stuff they had planned for it in development? I always love finding out stuff about that
I think it almost or maybe was intended that Tears of the Kingdom would begin a new Zelda Timeline with it's complex and differing stories from the other Zelda Games. Amazing video!
I agree, BotW and TotK felt like the modern day Ocarina of Time and as you stated, a way to reset the Zelda timeline in some way with a new back story and more.
This would be ideal TBH, I didn't really care for the old timeline due to how messy it got. So revamping it with BotW and TotK at the forefront? I'm so down for that
@@RinkusZelda BotW's Master works kinda already hints at a new timeline and the old games being considered myths/legends. In Creating a Champion, it straight up says that the citizens of this Hyrule know about the events of the old games, they just don't know whether or not they actually happened and I'm cool with that

I thought these games were so far into the future that they could fit any of the three timelines (not that I’ve ever liked that explanation).
