      I remember when dealerships based their prices off of the MSRP, and supply and demand didn’t play any part in it. I was just at a Dodge dealership in the summer talking to a salesman about the price of a Hellcat, and he said they keep going up because some people will pay whatever the price tag says.
      Vehicles are also way overpriced here in Canada with all the extra taxes we have to pay. If a vehicle is worth more than $100,000, there’s a “luxury tax” (because the sales tax of 12% isn’t enough on $100,000). And it’s based on the fuel mileage.

      I worked for a carpet company once that also sold ornamental rugs. They would lie and say they were imported from Nepal, made by monks with only the finest wool from Himalayan sheep. In reality, they were made from garbage recycled materials in Detroit by some asshole working minimum wage who hated his job. They would get them for $120-150, tag then for $3500-3800, then say they’re running a “40% OFF HOLIDAY SPECIAL!”, and then even have the slick salesmen tell individual customers “I’m not supposed to do this but I can use my own employee discount for you”.
      In the end, they’d pay $120 for this piece of junk rug but con people into dropping $2300 on it. Welcome to reality man.

I owned back in 2009 a 09 Challenger R/T Hemi 6-Man. Never worried about someone stealing it. But now. No longer a daily driver. Can't leave it out of your site for a second. Unless you own a garage at home. Even then. You have to be aware of being followed home. These "Roaches" will even break into your home at night or while you're at work and steal your H-Cat. They are getting desperate. NOT worth your life over a car that has lost it's value in the peace of mind and pride of ownership. You will be greatly missed by "The Brotherhood of Muscle." 💪

      Alarms have a 45-60 second delay

    • @stanleyolszewski7701
      @stanleyolszewski7701 Год назад +37

      @Blunt, I have business alarms and the delay is there to give time to punch in the code. If it’s not punched in during the delay it takes the next step and either notifies the owner, or calls the police. Depends on how they have it set up with the monitoring company.

      Stolen cars are never recovered no matter how good your detectives are or a tracker, you'll see them shipped to Europe then to Dubai. Worse, you'll see your tracker in the scrapyard with no remains of your car, disassembled to sell the car parts.

      @@xenomorph9114 Sure, if this was in Central Europe the cars would have been shipped to Albania never to be seen again by morning. But don't overestimate typical thiefs, apparently all of the cars stolen in this video have been recovered within a few days.

    Inside job for sure and very professional. This was planned out for sure. Had to know exactly where the key box was for all the cars and know how to get into that electronic key box. And also find the exact keys to those exact cars out of probably hundreds. I worked at a dealership for years and those key boxes are hard to get into and even get the key to unlock to pull it out.

      Facts. But is also makes me wonder about the tracking systems. When I worked a dealership in 2021 before we could sell a car the alarm and tracking system had to be turned off for the customer. If not then the cars wouldn’t start up again after turning off. I wonder if that’s how every dealership works. Only the finance managers were able to turn them off I wonder if these challengers had the same systems. Definitely an inside job though in my opinion
