- ByAnnie bags can be intimidating especially when there is not a full tutorial showing all the steps. Let this video be a guide along with the purchased pattern to help you get through all the steps. This might be the most watched video on my channel so I decided to redo it without the voiceover. This bag is part of a Tula Pink Deja Vu By Annie set and the set might be my new most prized procession.

What a lifesaver this video is for me, THANK YOU! I purchased all my materials and have been frozen by anxiety over starting this bag. Glad I could help! Thanks for watching.
Thank you so much for this. I really want to try and make this bag. I have made backpacks, but this seems pretty tricky. The visual aid is so helpful. Sometimes my brain doesn't reason out written instructions. Lovely work!
You and I are the same. I hope this helps I have another one too if you need more help.
love the bats. so great. need to make a By Annie bag. I'm loving all your new shirts and the intro is so fun.
Please do! I think you will love the bag. I'm getting all the shirts ready for sale now. Thanks for noticing my new Intro.
Hello! Enjoyed watching you make that bag. Very nice
I'm so happy you enjoyed that.
What is your thoughts about having a bag day? Maybe a by Anni simple pattern, a precut fabric bundle... maybe 2 different options the zipper and all. We could all order it from that shop you want to start working with. Maybe March or April. We could all do it together and if we had issues we could work together
Awww that sounds sweet. I have some simple bags upcoming in December. A Sew along sounds good for when I build my community. Coming soon.
My online quilty BFF... I literally bought this pattern last month! Thank you for this! It is my Christmas Break project for ME:) Still have not yet decided on fabric, but leaning toward Tim Holtz or Anna Maria Horner as that is kinda my jam. BTW, what is the marker you are using and where are you getting bag hardware from?
I ordered my hardware from Amazon. I should have dropped that link in the description bar. You will love this bag.
I love your choice of fabrics. Your bag is beautiful. I have now made 23 of these bags and applying the binding does not get easier. No matter how slow I go, the binding always looks horrible. If anyone has advice on this, I would love to hear it. 😊
If I sew around a few times and compress it. It helps. I also use the stiletto to pull it tight
I think you need a hair bow to go with your bags.
You are not wrong. Lol
Where did you find the fabric in the opening minute or so of the video?
I have been looking for something like this! Your instructions were fantastic. Thank you. Making the Ultimate bag right now.
All the fabric is Tula Pink the night shade line. Sewing Arts Center in Santa Monica CA has it.
Are you going to have Tula sign this lovely bag at quilt market? ! !!
I didn't even bring it. That would have been fun.
Ii like the way you explained everything. You did a good job.
I'm thinking about buying this pattern, only the finished size is slightly smaller than what I need. I'm experienced and confident at sewing. Do you think it would be the type of pattern to adjust the size without a lot of fuss?
The size is what is holding me back. I need a quilted bag to hold my embroidery machine arm. It's an odd size, and I haven't found a pattern yet that I won't have to make adjustments.
Thanks for watching The Ultimate travel bag would not be my suggestion for altering. I think the Ultimate Duffle bag would be easier due to it having fewer altered corners and such.
@@MACoutureCrafting thanks
@@barbaramatthews4735 I'm happy to help
What is the tool you used to press open your seams. And I just love you 🎉
I'm obsessed with my wood iron. I have a video showing it and where to find it.
Well you may have convinced me to try one of her patterns. Not really a pattern person I have a hard time sticking to them but I am going to give it a try since you have this video. I find her patterns to be a tad discombobulated at times.
I struggle too but I love the end results so much.
Hey
How ya doing.
Doing well. Are you in Houston?
@@catherinesofikitis179 yesI am. I'm having a blast
Have you met Irene from Sugaridoo? She has her first fabric line Benartex.
@@catherinesofikitis179 I've seen her every day
