I bought this pattern last week. I’ve sewn smaller bags before but this one is quite intimidating. I really appreciate you making this video. Thank you so much.
I have bought this pattern twice and I’ve made six of these bags now and every single time I refer back to your videos they are awesome you are awesome thank you so much
Thank you, thank you, thank you !!! I don't think I would have tackled this bag without yor video. Between reading the instructions and watching your video it gave me the confidence.
Great video as always. I think your nails look beautiful and never apologize for being yourself! In my opinion NOTHING is more distracting than a raggedy-ass manicure that should have been removed before being filmed. You always look amazing and never distract from your work. You are a delight to watch, to listen to and to learn from. I am an almost 70 year old white woman and love everything you do…and share your love of all things Tula! Please keep posting your amazing videos. I know they take a lot of time and work.
What a lifesaver this video is for me, THANK YOU! I purchased all my materials and have been frozen by anxiety over starting this bag. I fell in love with this bag and wanted it so bad but just did not trust myself to start, you're an Angel for making your beautiful bag on video for those folks like myself! I LOVE YOUR BAG!💗💗💗
Thank you so much for this. I really want to try and make this bag. I have made backpacks, but this seems pretty tricky. The visual aid is so helpful. Sometimes my brain doesn't reason out written instructions. Lovely work!
I love your choice of fabrics. Your bag is beautiful. I have now made 23 of these bags and applying the binding does not get easier. No matter how slow I go, the binding always looks horrible. If anyone has advice on this, I would love to hear it. 😊
My online quilty BFF... I literally bought this pattern last month! Thank you for this! It is my Christmas Break project for ME:) Still have not yet decided on fabric, but leaning toward Tim Holtz or Anna Maria Horner as that is kinda my jam. BTW, what is the marker you are using and where are you getting bag hardware from?
Where did you find the fabric in the opening minute or so of the video? I have been looking for something like this! Your instructions were fantastic. Thank you. Making the Ultimate bag right now.
Ii like the way you explained everything. You did a good job. I'm thinking about buying this pattern, only the finished size is slightly smaller than what I need. I'm experienced and confident at sewing. Do you think it would be the type of pattern to adjust the size without a lot of fuss? The size is what is holding me back. I need a quilted bag to hold my embroidery machine arm. It's an odd size, and I haven't found a pattern yet that I won't have to make adjustments.
Thanks for watching The Ultimate travel bag would not be my suggestion for altering. I think the Ultimate Duffle bag would be easier due to it having fewer altered corners and such.
What is your thoughts about having a bag day? Maybe a by Anni simple pattern, a precut fabric bundle... maybe 2 different options the zipper and all. We could all order it from that shop you want to start working with. Maybe March or April. We could all do it together and if we had issues we could work together
@@MACoutureCrafting hope you don't mind Mr asking but on the travel bag ultimate is there a binding for the zip as I've just finished it and it looks bare and rough
Well you may have convinced me to try one of her patterns. Not really a pattern person I have a hard time sticking to them but I am going to give it a try since you have this video. I find her patterns to be a tad discombobulated at times.
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to share your tutorial. You are a great teacher!🤩
@denisederos3573 thank you so much for this gift. It was my pleasure to share with you

If I sew around a few times and compress it. It helps. I also use the stiletto to pull it tight
Are you going to have Tula sign this lovely bag at quilt market? ! !!
I didn't even bring it. That would have been fun.

All the fabric is Tula Pink the night shade line. Sewing Arts Center in Santa Monica CA has it.

I struggle too but I love the end results so much.
I find this pattern confusing without visuals. If I don't want to use mesh, can I also use fabric binding and not the elastic binding??
@tonimariebecker I understand. If you don't use a stretched binding the fabric might blouse too much.
I think you need a hair bow to go with your bags.
You are not wrong. Lol
