  • Happy Halloween everybody we are celebrating on this channel with two bags that answer the question, what bags would Tula Pink pack if she were staying at the Haunted Mansion? This video is long but feel free to skip around and or watch me on double time. This video is meant to be used in tandem with the By Annie Pattern to help those who struggle without having a full video of the steps, I hope this helps.

I think I can explain why not pressing your bias binding works better IF you still pin it on properly. The fold that you press is determined and "finished". This may not be the perfect "fold edge" when you place the bias onto the product. If the bias is unpressed, the "fold edge" will be determined by all the tensions in the product meaning there is a little give. When you press it, you do not give the bias the freedom to do what is can do best. Trust me, I am not saying that I can make this bag as well as you. I admire your skills! You are my Quilty BFF!

The bag turned out GORGEOUS! I bought a By Annie duffel pattern a while ago and have been intimidated to start it. But now I will after watching. Really glad you did this video through the whole project, am going to use the tips as reference. What circle templates do you have? I have been meaning to get some but keep forgetting until I need them and am forced to use a glass or dish LOL. Also like the new intro!

Wow! The bag turned out so fabulous! Great video showing how-to....you've got me thinking maybe I could do this too! I feel like I'm going to start with "clam up" little bag first to see how it goes....Keep it up! Your projects are beautiful 😊

The clam up is amazing but she just dropped one that is similar to it that's a different shape that's awesome too.

Your fabric choice is great. I'm checking out this video because you recommended this bag. I may buy it.
I have to figure out my own fabric choice, and that will be the hard part.
You make it all look sew-easy.

The fabric choices are the fun part. I'm so happy that you are thinking of this one it is one of my prized pieces now. If I can make this anyone can. Thank you so much for your support.

Idk if it's just me, but I noticed your tula pincushion and would love to see how to make it. Or a different shape if you want to do something new

The pin cushion was a gift from one of our quilt besties. I love pin cushions so she made me one.
