Today's workout
The aim of the game here is slow and controlled reps and higher volume with the lighter weight to really get a good burn and maximise the use of the weight
The dumbbells will help shape and tone your full body
In this workout we will be hitting 6 exercises in total for 3 sets with the workout getting harder as it progresses. How? As we will be upping the amount of reps per set
Set 1 - 10 reps
Set 2 - 15 reps
Set 3 - 20 reps

This man could have worked out with much higher weight. The fact that he didn't so that beginners would feel encouraged instead of daunted or shamed says a lot about where his heart is. Excellent video!
This workout is meant to be done at a low weight. Its for 20 minutes. Sure he could have gone higher, but anything probably over 30 lbs is insane

I’ve been doing this exercise for over 3 years now since the pandemic. Regular weekend 20mins full body on top of mid week light pumps. I’m 40 now but I often get compliments that I look early 30s or even younger. I’ve tried virtually everything on RUclips and gym but always comes back to this and I can honestly say this is the most efficient and sustainable workout you can do at home (for parents with kids too) without having to pay or go to classes. In short, I can’t thank you enough Zeus!! 🔥💪

You should check out the latest video put up the other day , it’s only 10 minutes! But you can easily double it up to make it 20👌
I also threw it together as literally had to shoot and pick up the kids , so was a way of showing people even in those short on time moments you can still put in a quick workout

Trying to recover from DeQuervains tendonitis in BOTH thumbs from weights that were too heavy for me. I went from 8# to 14#, not a good idea. Dr. was 0 help so I'm doing self care. So far so good. In the meantime I found I can use resistance bands & am doing interval training. I hope to get back to weights soon. Thank you for asking.

I've often said to people that you generally don't need to lift 'heavy' as Heavy and light are relative.
I've seen women walk into the gym and often a guy will pick up a heavy weight then proceed to do some sloppy reps with poor form in a bid to impress said woman whos walking by to get to the changing rooms.
(I lift heavy only when strength training) ie: returning to the gym after a hiatus.
Light weights can achieve muscle fatigue as can bodyweight.
I love that this dude in the video
1. Knows what he's doing.
2. Is using light weights.
3. You can clearly tell his muscles are burning! I make the same "jeebus this is burning. I want to stop" kinda faces.
It's all about good form and intensity and then your commitment to stick with it. With exercise, you can only ever get out what you put in.

Been doing this for about 3 weeks now! Great burn, great workout! Lost weight and put on muscle, awesome. Next I'm going to do the 15 min fat burn (no equipment). Hopefully this will help with small tire around my waist. 😉

Syammohan Kothottil I would suggest a ketogenic diet. Along with intermittent fasting I lost 96 pounds in just about 10 months. There are plenty of videos covering these subjects.
This was AWESOME. Also, at the time didn't feel the burn, woke up next day I felt parts of my bum that I didn't know I had. Super slow is perfect. THANK YOU for the video!

I'm on a deload month right now, trying to relax my body, so I was looking for some "easy" workout to do at home. And I never thought that a pair of dumbbells would kick my ass. This workout is a killer. And I will lower the weight and stick with it for the rest of the month.

Thanks for this. Easy to follow, not easy to do. Love the minimalist approach with respect to equipment and time! Those are two limiting factors for a lot of people so having this workout ready-made really helps.
I’m so looking forward to trying this. I’ve been letting myself go I just felt lost. I have rheumatoid arthritis and it has effected me tremendously but I think I could try this at my own pace it’s simple and to the point. Thank you !for taking your time and making these great videos for us

This is great! Thanks for that. I'm going repeat this one 4 times a week. I live in a rural area so no gyms close by and I'm always looking on line for weight workouts that I can easily add into my own yoga and cardio routine.

This workout has been a Godsend, especially during the quarantine. Thank you for this. I've been using it regularly, although I have to do reverse lunges as my knees can't take it and I like to through in a few Hip raises in the middle.

Came here because I'm trying to lose weight and get fit while in quarantine. I've never actually gotten through an at-home workout video before, I usually give up because I'm unmotivated without other people to work out with. But I got through this one! My arms were burning and I wanted to give up halfway through but I got through it! Definitely going to check out your other videos.

Went back to this oldie but goodie today. Went heavier with the weights and enjoyed it all over again!
So I’ve been trying to get myself in shape the past few months and came across this video about a month ago. I’m not ashamed to say I failed to complete this for the first few weeks. I’d make it to the third set (sometimes only second) and have to stop. The past week or so though I’ve been able to finish a few sets which for me is a big deal. Im starting to notice changes in my body and I’m really getting into it! Still a long ways to go but just thought I’d leave this comment and spread some positivity!

I recommend that you start with doing 3 rounds of 10,then once you feel comfortable do 10,20,10 and then start with what he has. It made it easier for me to get into it because other wise I end up quitting

I am using 3kg just did full routine after stopping at 15 for the first week. I am Male 79 years 81kg with 2 knee replacements done 18 months ago.
Man. Lightest weights I had are 15lbs and I worked out like twice in my 34 years 😂. Made it through the second set somehow hahaha

Been doing this workout now for approx 5 months (every second day) and I want to say thank you. I never thought I would have a body like this. I have lost over 34 kgs and now look like a toned athlete. I had no idea what I was doing in the gym. I just go do cardio and then this. I even have amazing shoulder muscles now and biceps. Thanks a million times over

If the workouts or any others on the channel helped then that is amazing but it's still you who deserves all the credit for getting in there and getting it done, sticking at it and succeeding in what I always preach , Consistency
Being consistent with your exercise and eating and making it a healthy lifestyle choice is the key, rather than a quick fix that you cant stick at and you're absolutely smashing it and showing others how it's done. Keep up the great work, amazing :-)

I'm looking to tone up (I'm skinny but with barely any muscle), and have a weight set at home so thought I'd give it a shot. For anyone who's interested, I'll be updating daily
Progress report:
Day 1. I could do exactly half of the routine with 2.5kg free weights (5kg in total) and Im sweating buckets. Some exercises were easier to do than others, looking forward to trying again tomorrow.
Day 2. Legs are aching nicely. Same weights, could get through 10 and 15 reps (14:20 mins). The arm exercises kill me 😂

This a perfect reasonable dumbbell exercise. RUclips has some insane ones that most can’t handle.
