dude... spoilers?!?!? I love your videos, but please, don't be part of this spoilers "culture".. NWH and the Hawkeye episode just came out hours ago 😕 At least change the thumbnail/title and add a SPOILER tag 😢
Netflix's Daredevil had one of the greatest intros for a show. Definitely one of my favorites. The music, style and art. If they ever make a show or movie of his own again, hopefully they'll try to recapture that.
@@giovannigiovanni.7220 That is in question. The Netflix Marvel shows were produced by Marvel Television along with Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter while the movies (and later, the Disney streaming shows) were produced by Marvel Studios which was a different entity from the tv production company. While the Marvel Television shows referenced the events of such MCU films as The Incredable Hulk, Thor,The Avengers,Avengers Age of Ultron, and Captain America the Winter Soldier, the film side never mentioned any of the characters or story elements that came from the tv shows. The only exemptions were Peggy Carter (who started off as a film character in Captain America The First Avenger) making multiple cameos at various ages of her life, in several MCU films, and Jarvis, the real life butler of Howard Stark and inspiration for Tony Stark's AI which became Vision, who appeared for a second in Endgame picking up Howard Stark after he met Tony Stark. Jarvis was introduced as a character in the Agent Carter series. The word around Hollywood was that Kevin Feige who runs Marvel Studios had bad blood with Marvel Television, and would not officially recognize the Netflix shows as canon because their tone didn't jive with what he was doing with the movies. When Marvel Television was merged into Marvel Studios under Feige, he was now willing to work the Netflix Marvel characters into the MCU, but the rumor is they have to be tweaked to fit into the MCU, and that certain actors who played them are welcome to reprise those characters in the MCU, while others will need to be recast. The actors who played Daredevil and The Kingpin have been invited to bring their versions of their characters into the MCU. The actors who played Jessica Jones and The Punisher, are rumored to also be invited back. But the guys who played Luke Cage and Ironfist will likely be recast. The whole concept of the multiverse (and varients in the Loki series) show us that the Netflix Marvel actors who reprise their characters in the MCU could be playing slightly tweaked versions of their characters to better fit in with what Kevin Feige wants to be done.
SC has become my favorite Channel by far. Ryan and Doug make a hilarious combo with seamless chemistry and I can't wait for more!! And please more explaining movies to Doug!!
I'm so glad this was covered but it doesn't do the show any justice. Daredevil is massively underrated right from the first artfully directed episode. The acting, cinematography, escalating plot and themes work so well in this series. Wish the same could be said about the other Netflix Marvel shows.... I just hope Disney doesn't neuter the characters.
I feel like this video deserves an Emmy! I think this is some of the best I've seen from ScreenCrush! All the banter and jokes with Doug were fire, and that ending analysis - aside from how funny it was coming from Doug - was so genuinely well done. And I also loved how the recap seemed to regard Daredevil fondly/positively while also pointing out all the stupid parts (Karen suddenly becoming a journalist, that damn painting all the time). And points to Doug for almost falling asleep during one of Ryan's explanations :) As for Daredevil - I couldn't be happier. OVER THE MOON. All these ppl commenting that they just watched all the seasons now - imagine being a fan at the time, being crushed when the series was cancelled, and waiting 2-3 yrs for anything to happen. This is an AMAZING time to be a Daredevil fan, and hopefully will make all the waiting and the bummed feelings worth it.
Even though you watched this video explaining the show, I recommend everyone who hasn't watched the show to go and watch it! The show is fantastic and there's a lot of stuff left out that makes this show amazing
Recently rewatch the scene after Daredevil beats the shit out of Fisk in season 3 finale, that whole scene gave me goosebumps and Matt yelling “I BEAT YOU” is just fucking legendary I got chills
What a great format. This conversation between you and pups is so entertaining! More so than watching the film would be. Thank you so much. Best regards!
Does Doug have a side-husltle writing papers for high school and college students? Need a C- that's one box of dog treats. A B+ goes for two boxes. But an A paper, that'll cost you a ribeye. It's all under the table of course, because that's where his bowl is.
Researching Episode 1 of Hawkeye. Closely watch the robbery of the auction scene. When kate is dressed as the Ronin she is grabbed by Kazi, he says, "Ronin?" In a very familiar voice whereas the rest of the TSM is just yelling "it's the Ronin! Get him!". This is a perfect reveal that Kazi was in fact the informant.
I watched the entire series and Defenders over the past 2 months after the rumors started picking up. I finished on Monday and I’m so glad i finally watched the show.
I CAME HERE TO LEARN AND DIDNT KNOW HOW MUCH ID LAUGH WHILE ALSO STILL LEARNING 😂😂😂 This was so entertaining and well done. I love these videos so much. The addition of your dog as a character is so fun!

Manager Doug literally eviscerates anything IGN puts out, not one video or article of any kind whatsoever can stand toe-to-toe to a single Doug appearance in a ScreenCrush video. Not. One. Great job btw Ryan 😉
I recently watched all 3 seasons of Daredevil series and it was astonishing and I loved it. Character development is great and music is so good I never skipped the intro, I would even say it is the best Marvel series, better than the Disney+ ones
@@Ninox32tgretwh I've already watched that too. I enjoyed it, but not as much as Daredevil. Comparing to D'Onofrio's Kingpin, Punisher's villains just weren't on the same level. I really liked season 2 though

Never skipped that intro, it was amazing!
Wait till you watch no way home
i swear.. if they change the intro for the new ones on Disney+...
I hope Disney keeps that intro on (hopefully the 4th season) "Daredevil."
The show was flawless.
Doug, your in-summary analysis is on point. Clearly Ryan is holding back your talent. I see you Doug. I see you.
Agreed! Doug probably needs to get Ryan fixed also. He keeps attacking viewers Moms for some reason….
No matter how often I watch, the your mom joke always gets a chuckle
Doug should get freedom, he needs his own channel

"I like the hallway fight."
There's a reason Doug is the Assistant Manager.
Doug's analysis of the show was thoughtful and made me appreciate the story of Daredevil a whole lot more
LEGIT what a Time to be alive again we’re getting Kingpin and we’re going to Daredevil in the MCU oh my god this is feels like a dream come true
