- With the announcement of Muse as the main villain in Daredevil: Born Again, I wanted to explain the history of this big bad introduced in Daredevil Volume 5 Issue 11.

Muse is dangerous, i remember first reading it. Daredevil actually has some of the best comic book written runs.
Definitely, I've been reading Daredevil since I was a kid and even in the early 80's Frank Miller and others have written legendary stuff in Daredevil. He should be bigger
@@dannytarver4533 couldn't agree more with both of you guys. I've read daredevil arcs that touch on religion, philosophy, even history, with excellent villains and action and never gets boring. Just amazing comic books
DD is one of my favorite superheros in general and that's because he tends to have consistently amazing stories. Also, the sheer levels of evil and darkness that he faces while holding true faith in himself throughout it is just endearing as a reader, and of course his fighting style is just so badass too.
I'm glad he's surged in popularity in recent years thanks to the amazing show and hope he's done justice in the MCU with Born Again.

That's what happens when you not world breaking DD, Moonlight and Punisher comics always good but I been loving the venom and carnage runs

The “sensory vortex” thing sounds like the writers explaining Jason Vorhees’ killing method like it’s a super power (which it might as well be I guess).
You know; in a way, he created two pieces of art:
one is Blindspot which would be pretty obvious, but the second is making Blindspot bleed the same way that Muse was "bleeding" from which is his eyes. In a way, making a self-portrait onto Blindspot
That's an awesome secondary interpretation you noted. There's a lot of fun to be had in subtly with an artistic villain.
I want to see Muse with the Carnage symbiote.
I think he would also make a good Batman villan as well

Holy cow! I had no idea about this character. Muse is unreal. It's like they took all the best Joker stuff, and whittled away all the cheese and safety of that character.

Muse being like Jhin and desiring nothing more than the perfect art piece was captivating. His love for his craft was more than enough for me to truly appreciate how much effort he put into bleeding those people, let alone the effectiveness of painting something so destructively beautiful.
Great story. You did a hell of a job telling it, as usual. I doubt Disney would ever go as dark. As they would need to go for this story to be as good as it could be.

I really liked Charles Soule run on DD. Blind spot is a great character hope they bring him back someday. Ten Fingers would also be great to see in a future series again but I think he’s dead.
This was NUTS!! So well written and I wanna know more about Muse now, are we going to get more on him or is this just a one shot deal? I bet DD is going to mentor Sam now on how to operate without sight! I really hope we see him again!
Muse seems very similar to the villain in the David Fincher film "Seven".
Disney better not mess this up, I want this to be as dark & gory as this comic. Muse could be a great villain
You see the first word you used "Disney" from the reports the series was going in a lighter direction but with the hype regarding echo we need to support it so Daredevil can be dark & gritter as well

This is one of my favorite recent stories with DD. Blindspot is such a great addition because Sam is just a KID trying to protect his neighborhood. And that’s how DD runs into him. He builds his own suit, but the follow up after being blinded is so interesting.
They dropped the ball on Blindspot in the comics because after the resolution of this run, I haven’t really heard from him. Hopefully he becomes a thing through whatever series happens on Disney+.
What’s interesting about Blindspot is that he’s also NOT getting in the mix with the Young Avengers or Champions. He’s kind of a one man show - very similar to DD.
Daredevil is arguably the best street level hero there is. Personally, his character is more relatable than Peter Parker. Im looking forward to seeing his appearance in Echo.

Its terrible i mean really really bad. You can watch one of the fight scenes rn and its awful. Obvious missed hits everywhere, punches and kicks are miles away from where theyre supposed to be it looks so fake. And the choreography is terrible as well

Something about daredevil being too late to stop muse’s blinding session really reminds me of Death of the Family type energy
You mention he’s just a man, but obviously isn’t since he caught daredevil’s baton. He’s a formidable fighter and has some superhuman agility. He’s an inhuman, and it’s the inhuman police along with that inhuman detective that was working with daredevil. They said since he’s an inhuman that have rights to punish and imprison him themselves.
It would be pretty funny if Marvel makes him a secret mutant (kind of the inverse of the whole 'we don't own the rights of the X-Men, so now Inhumans are a big deal')
@@NotHeresrsly well they already screwed up Ms. Marvel origins, and completely, changed her power in MCU which is dumb. But it does seem they maybe moving away from the Inhumans? It doesn’t help that they made the worst Marvel show of the Inhumans, and even released it in theaters. I’m sure that put a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.

yESSS one of the best narration that u done untill now..... im an artist and this character even make me shivers to the bone that hurts. Daredevil is underutilised. They at marvel are geting desperate ... the vilains are becoming real and more interesting similar to ones that we call normal or then some of heros ..the world complexity i gess. Not that the real ones on list of the island are any less evil, but is like their are not well beaten and or bad writen.

Muse reminds me of Madcap! Even more so when he broke his own fingers. Crazy, immortal, can be damaged but can’t feel anything, and he regenerates.

I understand how daredevil can see people/movement/items in the world with his crazy hearing, but how the hell can he see a picture? i'm sure he could tell there is a picture there maybe, but what the picture consists of? I don't see anyway for that to work through sound.
Wow that’s definitely a different kinda villain. The ones who aren’t driven by money and power are the scariest cause they can’t be reasoned with. Can’t be bought. Can’t be paid off and seemingly will never be satisfied until they have what they want which they don’t even know what that is

Been doing my own research on this guy, and let me tell he gives me the total creeps. If we can get at least HALF of this horror filled storyline into the show, I definitely think this will be the best season of DD yet. Hopefully the writers are taking notes 🤞🏻

This Muse guy sounds like he would be a crazy Villian not only to DareDevil but to Punisher as well! Frank chasing down a psycho who uses people for art, sounds well in his wheelhouse.
If he (blind-spot) recovers this would be a great way to build Blind-Spot up with that fight to make him a mah=jor charcater!!! He sounds like another amazing character. 2 promote him it would be cool if he worked with Dare-Devil, Electra, and Echo as well as having his own stories. I know Electra moves buy herself a lot but periodic stories would be cool and maybe he and Echo could really kick it off though they also fight seperate of each other too.
