I disagree that the majority of listeners to the podcast are "average" deer hunters. Think about it, if you have 1000 deer hunters, about 500 are going to be "below average" and about 500 "above average". So lets call the 200 or so in the middle as "average". I dont think "average" deer hunters even take time to listen to podcasts about deer hunting, especially in April. You bring up a great point though - just what is an "average deer hunter"? I agree Don, the average deer hunter is not listening to your podcast. The “average” deer hunter shows up a couple weeks before opening day and scouts some rubs and scraps and set his tree stand up. He shows up opening day regardless of the wind direction, drive his shiny new 4 wheeler to his stand, sits in the tree til noon and heads back to the house for lunch. There is no comparing the “average” deer hunter to the expert. It would be the like comparing a guy who can shoot a rifle very well to a trained marine sniper…no comparison to the skills and knowledge set.
