I like the symmetrical rectangular design of the house. A luxury mansion in front of a school is unusual.

I looked on google maps and the backyard faces west by southwest. That has always been my preference so as to watch sunsets. Some really good properties on here lately when some of the negatives would be my positives.

Ya but Holmby hills is not a view neighbourhood
I always told my parents, "Never buy a place next to a school."
We bought a house directly across the street from the elementary school our three kids were about to attend. It was actually quite nice. I worked from home & I would walk across the street at least 3 days a week and have lunch with each one of them. The noise was only for a brief period in the morning, and in the afternoon when they let out otherwise, it was nice and quiet the rest of the time.
one of my properties use to be right behind a school too..... as long as you are awear that it will be more difficult to sell later and get a discount for it ... then totally fine .
who was the architect?
I actually really like the interior a lot, but I hate the exterior and the school right across the street. Why not build a beautiful Georgian style home, in red or white brick, which is my favorite style. It would be timeless, unlike this monstrosity.
