I have a 2016 F350 that I put 410s in currently running 35 inch tires but 99% of my towing is 60 miles an hour at high altitude and in the mountains and I love to run it in manual mode… Thanks for all your great vids!
The newest Powerstrokes are beasts. Glad they resolved the issues with the 10 speed transmission too. I really like my ‘21 Ram 2500 6.7 but the lifter issues others are having is causing me to worry. I may sell it and get a new F-350 6.7. There’s no doubt the Fords are more refined trucks.
Im not sure the transmission issues are resolved. My 23 slips into 4th and 7th at random times. Been doing it since new. I’m guessing a valve body issue.
@@zb6618211,17,19 and now I have a 24. 11 I still have at 325k miles. I farm for a living on new leased land every year pulling gooseneck trailers with 20-30k lb tractors and implements. I also travel 4-5 months out of the year and live in a 5th wheel pulling to multiple locations. I drive my trucks very easy though and don’t romp on them or floor them often lol. Blew a couple turbos along the way but trans always been solid.
Paul would you be willing to test archoil AR6500 fuel additive? I’ve heard it doubles mileage between regen. I know your testing is real world so I’d be curious as to its effects on regen and mileage.
Friend has a 2022 F250 7.3 10 speed, trans just went out at 125k miles….90% highway miles…he sells chemicals and fertilizer to farmers so some hauling but almost no towing
@@hpkntnw yes he does, but he also runs Aisins which are probably the best transmissions in the world. There is reason you rarely see a Toyota in a transmission shop.
under 14k and doing short deliveries I would say just get a gas the ford 7.3s are impressive. the old 6.2 does well up to 14k interstate driving. And I know the new 7.3 is way better.
I can't imagine spending all that time looking at gauges on a truck. Just drive it. look down every so often and if you see a red light you might need to do something. They have people with PHDs that have figured all that stuff out.
Im sorry but i watch your videos and i think your wrong my 23 does non of what u say. It acts exactly the same as your 24 lol i don’t think ford changed anything. If i tow 20k I’m lucky to see 8th at 75 mph does non of the weirdness you clam yours did! Video of your 23 doing that would be nice!

Keep the videos coming Paul. No rest for the working man

Ten speeds still have problems just not enough room in that case for ten gears and proper amount of clutches per gear.
Commenting for support!!!!
Keep em comin!
6 speed for life had 3 over 300k miles never any issues 2 were deleted on 130hp and high pressure tunes
What years were those and how much towing did you do?

I’ll stay with the 6 speed Aisin that runs 40 degrees coooler

Any duallys in your fleet? F450’s??

Did he ever service the transmission? Every 40,000 miles with this ultra low viscosity garbage fluid is the number.
@@hpkntnw I do not know, but 120k miles is still pretty darn early even if he never changed the fluid.
@@hokie9910this guy changes transmission fluid every 40-50K for a working truck.

If you did a lot of short haul deliveries, would you recommend a diesel or would you recommend one of the bigger gas motors? Under 14kw trailer weight

Gasser would be a better choice for you.
You should get a F-450 and tow as heavy as you want lol

I'm sure the 23 is gone this guy has like 20 trucks and changes them out pretty regularly on his personal ones.
