Awesome video and love how detailed you are with the build! That servo looks fantastic and anything TC is always top notch. Keep up the great RC content!
Really good, clear and informative vid. I have a Team Corally Kagama and Asuga both were rollers. I installed same electronics that comes with Arrma 6s EXB Kraton . The servos I installed are the Arrma Spectrum #S665 25T-20kg. The Mega torque CS-5245 servo by Team Corally is looking to be the servo I will be using on my next roller.. So far I haven't had any issues. Both are great running RC's. I don't bash but I do run them hard......
That's unfortunate. No offense, but if Spektrum servos didn't come in the two Arrmas I bought, I would never own a Spektrum servo. Spektrum make fine receivers and transmitters, and the BLX ESC (I think those are Spektrum brand?) is fine as well, but I don't know why anyone would buy a Spektrum servo. Even the brand new 652 Spektrum servo I got thru warranty was replaced after two battery packs. It was already failing, and nobody wants to lose steering in a Felony. I'm sorry you paid money for one of those servos, because as much as I like Arrma, the Spektrum servos are overpriced AND complete trash. I set my endpoints, and after two packs, the servo started to "stick" in the center, and only would turn under power (at the end of my two runs) A good budget servo is the Power Hobby 190mg. It's incredibly fast at 7.4v BEC. And only $30, but I don't bash with it, so.... ?
Greetings again from the UK. Great video. I really like how you film it in such a way with practical tips so that an RC noob like me can easily see how you take the car apart and organise things. This was a great video, one that I was really looking forward to. I’m currently in the process of building an outcast 4s, and I wanted to know your thoughts on the durability and fun of the Outcast vs this after experiencing them both some more. I gave the outcast a super quick rip before taking it apart and it wasn’t setup well at all, lol. Center diff fluid was so thin I could barely get a wheelie, and the servo couldn’t move the wheels! Not a big deal though, it’s getting the full treatment :)

i ended up watching your vid again. you know this time watching it, i tell ya, TC really do have impressive equipment. and the additional upgrades you added look good to. i guess i had not look that close to corally trucks. thanks for the info very info. have fun. thanks
I'd say it's better than most of the Eco power servos but probably not quite as good as the perfect past servo. The perfect past servo is an AGF RC brushless version and it's definitely a little bit of a step above.
Yeah the TC Wing mounts aren't the best. I was hoping this 3D printed one would be better though I try to different type of filament and kept the additional brace for the wing in there. I think I just need to go back to my old filament which usually works pretty well
That servo looks interesting. I’ve always wondered if upgraded servos from companies other then big servo names Reefs etc are strong as a raw 500? Great video Considering Asuga but also truggifing a maxxslash
@@DoRC Did you also have the problem that the old/ Stock pins are too long now? The wholes in the M2C blocks are Not so deep as the wholes of the stock Suspension blocks! Now I have ~2mm Space so the Suspension arms could Move 😮 How did you solved this Problem?
@@HHMercury hmm. Sounds like you might have gotten parts that weren't made correctly. I just double checked mine and at least as far as I can tell I didn't have any issue with that.
@@DoRC I really don’t get my RC’s wet anyway… I just think it’s bad for your rig somehow. I know… I’m missing out on a level of fun, but I’ll just toss my RC boat in the Gulf of Mexico if I want to play in the water 💧 🤙🏻
@RC-Closer1313 you are absolutely correct. Getting your car's wet isn't good for them but it is a lot of fun :-) I also wash my cars off when I'm done bashing them.
It really depends on what you mean by weaknesses. Out of the box it's one of the most durable trucks you can buy and there are plenty of upgrades available for just about everything. The only real weakness I would say it has is possibly the front CVDs but they really don't break that often.
I've been eyeing a 6s kraton but all you can get now is the v5 version the exbv2 is on back order so I've been researching alot between this rc and the sledge and naturally the kraton. I'm looking for durability, I don't jump super ramps mainly just run it around in a field or lose gravel road I won't one to be able jump a small ramp no skate parks lol and to handle well with out roll overs
Man I love your videos really encourages me to mess with my cars. That servo looked really nice and well built. I just bought a 9imod servo but have yet to install it. Been using a jx eco boost servo on my rigs so far but always looking to try new things. I’d love to have a reefs servo but yeeha they are expensive. Anyway enough about servos 😎🤣 Cheers for another great video ( tutorial)🤘🤘🤘
I don't think these arms really need to be improved upon. They are some of the strongest arms out there. I think this is the second arm of any modern TC car I've broken.
Agree 👍 I think it’s best RTR. Electronics I’ve used , I pair the motors with max 6 but stock esc seems more powerful than the max 8 , it’s atleast the same exact” I did fry one but I kept infraction with speed run gearing thinking keroing it cool was enough . Nice video as much as I like kagama I’m going get that xl buggy
That servo looks hella familiar. Possibly a rebranded JX? Regardless this build looks like overkill, snd the Kagama already seemed like overkill to begin with Reallt appreciate the shock explanation btw
Ive never used a Team Corally servo before. If it holds up over the coming months, i may actually order one to try out in one of my cars. Hopefully you will update us how it holds up over time and use. Great video brotha. Love the channel.
Didn’t realize there is so many aftermarket parts for the Kagama. Another appealing draw to it. Might have to get the roller and put that servo in it ;)
I’ve just stripped my first Corally rear differential in the Kronos. Giving the Asuga a mid life rebuild, man there a lot of screws in that thing. And I wouldn’t mind a servo 😂
Yeah they do use a lot of screws and there are quite a few nuts as well which can be a bit inconvenient. Fortunately they don't need to be worked on that often :-)
Love the red Servo, only part I think u missed was the 7075 center diff bulk head support by team corally and the gpm aluminum servo horn and post combo. Both cheap upgrades that in my opinion make a workd of a difference.
@DoRC idk of u watch Aldo loyal but he is a tester for corally that does high speed big airs and the plastic center diff bulkhead melts but corally makes a sweet 7075 upgrade.
@@irish33rc9 I do. The big problem with the plastic center differential is that they use really thin fluid and if you're on the throttle a lot it ends up overheating. Thicker fluid usually eliminates the problem but at least on the Kagama asuga etc they have metal center differentials from the factory.
@@DoRC we obviously are not talking about the same parties talking about the support that the bearing cradles into upgrade part number c-00180-832 original part number c-00180-018 I've had prob 5 go bad out of 13 corallys I've built
Looks nice in stock already, but that build is really awesome! And the hint about *when* to upgrade a a car is right - upgraded my Losi Lasernut before the first ride and got a good amount of money for that (weak) Spektrum electronics so the better ones installed were not that expensive. p. s.: servo :)

Those servos look high quality… too bad they are not waterproof… can’t wait to see how it performs ✨
I think it'll be water resistance enough. You probably wouldn't want to submarine it but for most use cases it probably won't be a problem
Great video. You really do great explaining things and a free servo would be nice. LOL
Thanks Glad you enjoyed!
Servo... nice build dude I did most of what you did to the asuga
Nice. It really is cool how many upgrades there are available for these cars now.
Servo, great build!
I've 2 friends with Kagamas, I'm soooooooo tempted 😮😮😮
I would definitely recommend getting one. Theyre a lot of fun.
Can the weaknesses in the kagama be fixed or are the like the 8s kraton arms that are doomed to keep breaking stuff overe and over
It really depends on what you mean by weaknesses.
I'm looking for durability, I don't jump super ramps mainly just run it around in a field or lose gravel road I won't one to be able jump a small ramp no skate parks lol and
to handle well with out roll overs
@joeytravis1953 I don't think you'll have any problem with that kind of bashing and the Kagama. The Sledge is also a good truck but it's overpriced
How do I get a coupon for one and where would I be able to aquire a kagama?
@joeytravis1953 hobby recreation products is the main distributor and they almost always ha e coupon codes on their front page.
Anyway enough about servos 😎🤣
Cheers for another great video ( tutorial)🤘🤘🤘
Reefs servos definitely are good quality.
Man i always learn so much when watching your videos! And this time i get to watch my literal dream car being built 😍
Do you think the arms can be improved? It seems like 'a bit more flexible' would be fine?
Glad you're enjoying. This is a cool car
I don't think these arms really need to be improved upon. They are some of the strongest arms out there. I think this is the second arm of any modern TC car I've broken.
Servo. Great information and feedback. Time to start upgrading mine lol
Yeah there are definitely a lot more upgrades available than there used to be.
Sweet servo. I actually like team corraly trucks especially xlr buggy. I think they have the best RTR POWER SYSTEM. Fast
Yeah pretty much all of their latest generation stuff is a win
Agree 👍 I think it’s best RTR. Electronics I’ve used , I pair the motors with max 6 but stock esc seems more powerful than the max 8 , it’s atleast the same exact” I did fry one but I kept infraction with speed run gearing thinking keroing it cool was enough . Nice video as much as I like kagama I’m going get that xl buggy
I’m sure thier servos are great too , they took Arrmas blueprint once arrma had to go cooperate
Nice build looks like it should be a strong basher. That is a sweet servo
So far it's holding up well. Had a couple of nasty hits and broke an arm but it happens :-)
What hand held screw driver do you use, thanks
It's a no-cry. I have a whole video on the driver itself and how to modify it. Check it out!
Wow… what a great informative video… top notch with a bit of humor..
SERVO….
Thanks Glad you enjoyed :-)
6.0v to 8.4v that servo ought to be bad to the bone. This basher is gonna be 1 sick rig!!!!
Yeah I was running it on 7.4 volts with the stock system. With a good BEC on 8.4 volts it would definitely be a a bit more spicy.
That servo looks hella familiar. Possibly a rebranded JX?
Regardless this build looks like overkill, snd the Kagama already seemed like overkill to begin with
Reallt appreciate the shock explanation btw
I'm not sure. I don't recognize the case though I'm sure TC doesn't make them themselves.
Today i learnt there are brushless servo available, good video watched it all
Thanks for watching the whole thing! Plenty more to come :-)
Servo! Love my Kagama and the time you take to explain everything in your video
I'm glad you enjoy seeing it I enjoy making it :-)
Ive never used a Team Corally servo before. If it holds up over the coming months, i may actually order one to try out in one of my cars. Hopefully you will update us how it holds up over time and use. Great video brotha. Love the channel.
So far it handled a decent amount of abuse.
What was the KG rating on it?
Is there anyway you have a list on the parts and where to buy them?
I'm sorry no I don't. It's pretty much just everything that TC makes as an upgrade for the car with a few M2C bits sprinkled in
Servo looks great, and awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed the drawing will be soon!
Didn’t realize there is so many aftermarket parts for the Kagama. Another appealing draw to it. Might have to get the roller and put that servo in it ;)
Yeah aftermarket support has really been moving along the last year or so.
That does look like a well built servo. Odd that it is not brushless though, or that there are no o-rings like you said.
Yeah it is relatively inexpensive though
Love the red Servo, only part I think u missed was the 7075 center diff bulk head support by team corally and the gpm aluminum servo horn and post combo. Both cheap upgrades that in my opinion make a workd of a difference.
I've never had any problems with the center bulkhead but I do agree that the servoSaver would be a good upgrade.
@@DoRC but nice build bro keep up the killer content
Nice build love my Kagama awesome servo‼️
Yeah it's a great truck.
Curious about team corally cars. Yet to pull trigger and get one. Think I might have to after this video. How is the new "servo"
I'd recommend it. Any of their current generation vehicles are very good.
Team corally that's one sick servo!
Yeah it seems pretty good so far.
Love your videos. They are very well edited BTW, I have a perfect place for that servo 😮
Awesome I'll be doing the drawing soon :-)
Your killing it bro , great content ❤
Thanks man Glad you enjoy!
Servo is sick but don’t enter me lol someone else needs it
Looks nice in stock already, but that build is really awesome! And the hint about *when* to upgrade a a car is right - upgraded my Losi Lasernut before the first ride and got a good amount of money for that (weak) Spektrum electronics so the better ones installed were not that expensive. p. s.: servo :)
Yeah I can usually recoup around 25 to 30% of a build. It's also a lot easier to do the upgrades on a new car.
Nice servo , CORALLY ROCKS !
Agreed. Drawing will be soon!
What was the total cost for the upgrades. An servo
I think around $400 total.
Great video, nice servo!
Thanks the drawing will be soon!
Yea, I'd love to win that servo! Love your content bro.
Thanks Glad you enjoy!
