Going back and watching Kill Counts that I haven't seen while James takes his hiatus is honestly pretty nice. I hadn't realized how many of these I hadn't watched because of them being obscure horror movies that I knew nothing about. James, you've got a great library of content and I hope you and your team are enjoying the time off!
Agreed, although I kinda liked the different take on the killer's identity (his face being revealed from minute 1) and it made for a better twist when we find out he's Blaze's husband (In my opinion at least). As for Derek I think his intended role was to illustrate how much his mom just doesn't care about anything other than her show (even her son who tried so hard to please her and prove he's successful on his own and even brought her flowers) and how her poor parenting got him all messed up. If you watch the movie you'll see that he landed the lead role in the series without anyone knowing he's "Blaze's little boy" and he was so proud of that but his mom shut him down. Honestly I felt bad for him.

I’m guessing that the “twist” was meant to problematicaly portray that the father probably had some sort of mental illness he passed to his son. The son wanted to tell his mother, but obviously she prioritized her career over her husband and son to the point she never realized how crazy they both were. It could have been pretty interesting if handled properly.
I think now would be a great time to pay our respects to the actress who played Sally, Louisa Moritz, who sadly passed away on January 4th of 2019. Rest In Peace Louisa.

Or Else!' which later materialized as a film called 'X-ray' also known as 'Hospital Massacre' which of course is a slasher centered on Valentine's Day 💘 at a hospital. I won't spoil it anymore than that, for you.
My favourite Kill Count was Alien 3. So many great lines in that one from “BREAKING NEWS...” to “It’s not your fault, Dillon. It’s not your fault...”. My favorite kill count is You're Next, not only because of how great the movie is but the commentary you made me like it even more, you're awesome and keep the good shit up my guy!
Kip Niven was the highlight of this movie. He did really good as Evil/Richard, especially when he was dressed like a priest waving his switchblade at anyone who was posing a threat to his plans.
I didn't know Kip Niven, just remember seeing him once in awhile on tv when I was younger. Found out he was from Prairie Village, KS a couple of years ago. Then, he died in May 2019, and I did some looking around on youtube just recently about seeing if there was any things he was in. I saw that he did some shows where it was like radio shows, where they read the scripts from pages and did the show in front of a live audience. Didn't realize how talented he was with all the different voices he could do. He sure was wasted in Hollywood and I heard he did Broadway shows, but, I'm pretty sure, he still wasn't used to the best of his abilities there, either. May he rest in peace and I feel bad his talented was squandered on crazy movies like this and hour and half hour tv shows.

Italian Giallos are an acquired taste. Just not something everyone enjoys. Its worthwhile to cover obscure films to your audience, but also the more mainstream slasher flicks, so as not to alienate them. I am glad you sat through New Years Evil so I didn't have to... Kip Niven was the highlight of this movie. He did really good as Evil/Richard, especially when he was dressed like a priest waving his switchblade at anyone who was posing a threat to his plans.

I didn't know Kip Niven, just remember seeing him once in awhile on tv when I was younger. Found out he was from Prairie Village, KS a couple of years ago. Then, he died in May 2019, and I did some looking around on youtube just recently about seeing if there was any things he was in. I saw that he did some shows where it was like radio shows, where they read the scripts from pages and did the show in front of a live audience. Didn't realize how talented he was with all the different voices he could do. He sure was wasted in Hollywood and I heard he did Broadway shows, but, I'm pretty sure, he still wasn't used to the best of his abilities there, either. May he rest in peace and I feel bad his talented was squandered on crazy movies like this and hour and half hour tv shows.
He was in some episodes of "Emergency" and was one of the dirty cops in "Magnum Force".

Never watched KKfOS because that old man saying 'I love the circus!' and being killed made me cry.
His dog being snatched also made me sad. I try not to pay attention during that scene. The rest of the movie is really fun.

I know I said this last time but it's so weird how 20 minutes of editing only goes into like 10 seconds of actual full time plus you have to film your voice and put it all together and then find the videos to use and make sure they're legal and you also have to find all the Kills. Reading through the comments, not many ppl new this film existed, which I think is great your getting these films out to newer audiences,,,in 2018, would love to see ya do more and more obsture flicks, maybe do a few classic Italian giallos, that would be great, and maybe you'll come across new favourite yourself,,,I know I did, and plus they did birth the modern American slasher so you'd have plenty of great kills to pick from, I just ed watched your black Christmas remake video, and I'm sure all the eye killings in that wore inspired by lucio fulci 👍
Italian Giallos are an acquired taste. Just not something everyone enjoys. Its worthwhile to cover obscure films to your audience, but also the more mainstream slasher flicks, so as not to alienate them.
