Fun fact about roosters. A lot of people think a rooster just waits for the sun to rise crows out once and are done for the day… Not so.
A rooster can crow at any time normally not at night because they’re in a bit of a stupor but sometimes they come out of it long enough to call out even then. I remember a couple times where the first morning crow came hours before the sunrise while it was still pitch outside! Also crowing is a show of dominance among roosters so if you happen to have more then one rooster that doesn’t want to concede to a submissive position they can continuing crowing back and forth for several minutes sometimes over an hour.
I once said “I swear one of these nights I’m going to get my uncle’s rifle, and then it’ll be cock-a-doodle-BOOM!!!”

Helpful hint: peeling stickers- hydrogen peroxide cuts the glue goo. A convenience store counter gets stickers on a weekly basis, if not almost daily.
Saturate a rag, get the stickers generously wet, let it sit for a few, then wipe it off. Follow up until the surface is clean.

There is also a product called goo gone that will work MIRACLES on stickers and glue - takes off even the worst of it very easily. I worked in a public library and you would be SHOCKED by what we had to clean from book returns and when we got used books to add to the collection what we had to clean. Tape, glue, stickers, stamps, and so, so much more. Goo gone takes off all the gunk that's not directly on paper (it will soak the paper - other things have to be used for that).

4:15 No it is not inappropriate to inject yourself with insulin at the work place because all others can see is you pushing a big pen into your leg, arm, tummy, etc. the insulin pen (the needle used to inject insulin) looks like an Epi-pen, I know because I am I type 1 too.

Our niece wanted to try some of the prune juice my sister had bought for our mom. My sister and I tried to tell her it’s not good but she really wanted to try it. Finally we agreed to pour some into a tiny little cup. She took one sip, said, “Ew…” and walked away.

The story with the lazy worker makes a rule that all tickets must be approved in advance and ends up running around trying to put out the dumpster fire her actions caused, I was reminded of the image of Dolores Umbridge running all over Hogwarts with a trying to get rid of all the fireworks while the teachers show absolutely no interest in helping! 😂

Yeah changing a schedule to take refuse to pay for hours worked is VERY illegal. I’d take things up with higher management and start looking into lawyers in case that doesn’t work. If they still try to stiff me… Lawsuit!
In my case the higher management approach would probably work. They made it absolutely clear in my orientation videos we are NOT to work off the clock at all ever! It’s not just store policy, it’s the law!

With the whole bank story I would probably go back once to return the money but after being shut down by the teller informing me they don’t make mistakes I’d keep the money. I mean I tried and they denied I’m not going to dedicate and entire night to return this extra money they clearly intended me to have because after all, “ they don’t make mistakes”.

The paraeducator story will have a much worse outcome than it sounds like. Especially in education and especially for a non-professional position, not being able to fulfill job requirements mean unpaid leave at best. Source - I work for an education union.

i can speak to the termite story. it mostly true. but this guy didnt do the job the way he should have, you need proper area cover with termite bait stations. one rule is if you cant find a station quick, then replace it. i did this work for 5 years and it sucks but i was fast and found ever station........... or replace it. there is a lot of "fun" story in this kind of work
