Just an FYI: Horizon 3 is currently on sale until iirc September 27th this year. After that, it and it's DLC will no longer be available for sale. Microsoft announced this like a day ago. So, you might want to make sure you already have it and any DLC you want before you can't get it!
Other tip: dont buy the Ultimate Edition hoping to get the Festival Expansions because it doesnt, the Ultimate edition just includes the car pass (paid cars) and vip (5 cars and double credits after events). Buying the standard edition plus the season pass is better.
Sad thing is i personally might miss it, i strugled to find time to finally get into a Forza game even when i had opportunities, while i heard of this announcment happening and i was eager to get it, Forza Horizon 4 is also on sale, which for me is going to be a better choice to finally get into the series. I might consider at end of september the standard edittion, yes the DLC will be lost but at least its better than waiting for 'okay now im justified to pirate it'.
I still love FH1 and it's my favourite Horizon! The atmosphere, the music, the races, etc. are amazing and I feel the sequels haven't really captured that same feeling this game has. Although it doesn't have over 700 cars like FH4 does, it makes the ones in FH1 more special and personal.
I found out a few months ago that playground games is based only a town away from me and I go past their office everyday on the way to the train station, I expected them to based in America so to find out they’re based in a small midlands town in England was quite strange haha
shadowspike74 This is true but from what I recall the 360 version was worked on by Sumo Digital who brought us all the OutRun 2 ports (props to them for that) but I feel this was too big of a project for them with this game as graphically it was a massive step back from Horizon 1. Perhaps the conspiracy theorists were onto something when it was said that the 360 version was purposely made to look like ass so as to boost sales for the Xbone console release.

What really amazes me is how the songs played at the radio have gained such a massive popularity like no other game has ever achieved. So many of them sit on 100M downloads now and remember, most of these songs were new at the time the game came out. It really adds to the feeling of a festival not only about cars, but also about partying, and it shows that whoever was put to choose songs for the soundtrack had really good taste
FINALLY. I bought this game in 2013, and haven't been able to stop playing it since. The physics, cars, graphics (for it's time at least) and most of all: the feeling of the festival itself. Just Perfect.
@Austin Batton The only thing that keeps FH4 alive are SOME of the online lobbies and the weekly playlists, FH1 was a much better game imo, it had less cars, a smaller map but the whole experience just feels better... In FH4 it feels like the developers lost their passion...

the series may get more cars, better graphics, bigger maps but it'll never capture the vibe of the original horizon festivals. that's what makes this the best
7:17 THIS TIMES 1000! IMO the should have kept that system, where you had to complete an event using a certain type of car, like 1990 convertible A-class, and when you finished it, then you yourself can change the parameters and customize the event to your liking.
I think in 3 makes sense because you are the "MC" of the festival. On 2 when you win the Festival it doesnt feel that it is yours. On 4 it was just carried from 3 without any thought put into it. Even though in theory I could win the entire FH3 with one car, I still used different cars and changed the events because it felt so interesting making varied events, contrary to FH2 which you only choose the car class and place to start the same 4 races.
People say that people who say "Forza Horizon 1 is my favorite of the series" are just nostalgic or something, but that's not true. This game just did it's own thing and it did it almost perfectly. They should've build upon this instead of what they did with the sequels.
I do prefer FH2 overall, but FH1 definitely had the best atmosphere out of all of them. 3 and 4 don't even feel like a festival anymore, and have no real progression and haven't really moved the series past FH2 feature wise.
@@BFIFE22G35 I didn't play FH2 that much to be honest. I have seen a lot of gameplay of it and personally I think that the FH1 map looks the best out of all four. FH4 map kinda sucks imo. It feels like you're on a racetrack all the time and I think that that's what they were going for. Nonetheless they are all very good games though.

This game literally saved my life. I got out of a toxic relationship and had to crash with a friend for a while and I was in a really dark place. But he had a 360 and a copy of this game so I poured a lot of myself into this game, basically just kind of lost myself in it as an escape, and honestly, it was a huge part of getting back on my feet. I literally bought my own 360 after years of being only a Sony guy simply to get a copy of this game later on. Doesn't matter how much I love any other game, this one will always hold a special place in my heart.

Yeah, horizon 2 felt like a stepping stone to get to 3. 4 is just 3 with more of everything. 1 had a mini plot going on. Reminded me of those NFS bmovie plots xD
Forza Horizon 1: hey, we have restrictions on these events meaning you can only drive a particular car, that way you get to drive something you probably wouldn't normally drive Forza Horizon 2: hey, you wanna do every event in that Supra/BMW/Dodge Charger you got at the start, you can do that, as there are no restrictions *at all*
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ and the restrictions also mean that your cars, car builds, and money have value and serve a purpose because they'd be useless if you can beat the game with your starter cars
Forza Horizon 4: Hey, we do have certain restrictions, but mostly for seasonal events, though you have to pick a car from a set performance group, and from a set typing.

Yes, the racing is arguable better as you can fine tune your car, but they went full corporate and completely ditched what made the first game unique. The first was a completely new thing for forza. A big aspect of the first was the music festival, which I would argue they've put on the sideline almost entirely. Look at the cover art for all 5 games, do any of them have the festival on the cover besides the first? No. The game also lacks any form of solid narrative. That's not to say that the game doesn't do well as an open world game, but if they're gonna take that route just fucking commit to it. The story was the main reason the first was t for Teen which they never want to happen again. The 5th one players are spoon fed everything and treated like Car Jesus who could never do anything wrong. I'm not gonna say that I don't enjoy the later installments. However, the new Forza Horizon games just become more and more soulless, created primarily to gain mass appeal and help sell xbox game pass. I can enjoy racing in FH5, but that's it. The environment doesn't have that festival feel despite there being multiple outposts, it's just an open world with trash music playing. PGG and Turn 10 sacrificed quite a but of what made the first one stand out when making the new ones
This game, so many memories. It already started when I got an invite to a closed "launch event" on a military airfield in The Netherlands. A huuuuge car show that already gave off a "horizon feel" with DJ's, parties, car and bike stunts outside, many beautifull cars... It was simply amazing. And then starting up the game, starting in a VW Corrado and slowly building up hype and fame and car collection. Everything was perfect in that game. FH2 was... I dont know, not thát impressive? FH3 was again impressive though, but the story and way of presentation was lackluster imo. The driving, events, tracks, roads, etc, were all perfect. FH4 i have yet to play.
Fh4 isn’t exactly a bad game, but it doesn’t feel anything like the original forza horizon, I don’t get any festival feel at all, no real cutscenes, no “bosses” but that’s just my opinion, although it’s my least favorite in the series I have played it quite a bit and it was received incredibly by the press
I agree with Anthony. Horizon 4 is abides by a different philosophy, where the only 'new' things are altering seasons and purchasing houses. The devs focused more upon the (beautiful) map and adding more and more notable cars through updates. It's kinda sad to admit that you haven't missed out on anything with Horizon 4. It's a good fun game but I find myself reminiscing the older titles.
@@PedzRR I really like FH4, but it is true that the "magic" of the first Horizon just isn't there. They put a TON of work into FH1, experimenting and creating something entirely new, while its sequels only improved on what was already made (or altered in terms of storytelling). However, the business aspect of FH4 was brilliant, like side stories with benefits for completing them. The Isha's Taxis side story was pretty cool. Even Top Gear made a reappearance, where the player would take the role as The Stig, and some of the challenges were pretty tough to beat. Now if only we could get the first game remastered, and also released on PC... well I would have loved to play that one again
Imo, Horizon 1 was the perfect one from a completion standpoint. Later entires added so much extra that it feels like getting 100% would require dropping out of school and playing full time. *Glares at Horizon 3 and winning 2,000 races...*
This game had SO many showcase events and chances to win free cars which was cool. Could even get upgrades for 100% free from smashing boards and this is where a lot will disagree with me. I liked not having off-road vehicles in this game and it had some really cool Supercars that never came back. I even liked having to use certain cars for certain events as it encouraged me to get a lot of variety in my cars. As far as I can say, this game will never die.
Aussie here: You're gonna LOVE Horizon 3. They really nailed the look. There's gum trees everywhere, and it really does feel like parts of the Gold Coast and maybe Queensland. A lot of games have Australia levels, and it's more them saying "This is set in Australia", with nothing to show for it, like Tony Hawk's Underground 2. Rest assured, you'll be impressed
Never been to Australia. Horizon 3 makes me feels like I when I visit in just going to be disappointed with reality. I gush about horizon 3 to all of my friends. Shame it's going to see end of life soon
12:50 I always thought the handling stat in Horizon is higher because they don't have to be compared to LMPs later Formula 1 cars. Like a 10 in a Horizon is a Zonda R where as a 10 in Motorsport means LMP/Formula 1
This game is very special to me it influenced my life in a big way. I have family that lives in Colorado and we would always drive to Denver to go see them. I live in New Mexico ( the state below Colorado ) and it would be so amazing to see all the locations in the game in person on the way to Denver. That town in game is a recreation Golden Colorado. That's where Coors is brewed, anyways I loved all Motorsport titles as a kid. The biggest influence on me was actually the in game music. It made me fall in love with EDM, Denver was the bass capital of the world. It felt like I lived in horizon when I would go to red rocks to see the same artists that were in the game soundtrack. I will always love this game.
Horizon 1 is still my favourite in the franchise. Absolutely loved it back in the day. It stayed fun to play for ages after release too. Something you don't get with new games.
I didn't get my 1st xbox until 2018 so like you I'm late into the forza game's and were playstation and therefore gran turismo beforehand. Having had 4 year's to catch up with all the forza game's, I rate it as a better overall series of games than I do the GT series as Sony got very lazy with the gt series after GT4 just as xbox picked the ball up for the forza series, and that has played a part in me getting a series X before I get a PS5 and for the 1st time since ps1 not getting a playstation around the time it launches.🤔 Forza horizon 2 is one to review, as there was a different version of the game for the 360 and a sort of swan song to the generation, it was missing features compared to the Xbox one version, but I still enjoyed the 360 version having played it after I played the xbox one version, and still play it when I visit my mum and the 360 I have set up in her living room.👍🏻 Forza horizon enhanced for one X looks really good on my series X.🍻
2022, forza horizon 5 is out now. But The first is still The best one... The atmosphere and progression have never been captured as well by later instalments. I Just hoje they port it to PC eventually or make a "back to The roots" spin on The franchise.. but i doubt it
The guy who was brought in to compile the licensed soundtrack for this game is DJ Robert John Gorham, the founder of the real life Bestival festival. That's why the soundtrack on Horizon 1 in particular is so catchy!
This was my second ever racing game I played, it gave my love for the aventador. Got it in the showcase then made it to beat the veryon then won the game with it. I’ve made a livery of the same car in every forza game since
Man this was the best Horizon the feeling I got from the intro, the cut scenes, the scenery and even the hype of the DJ’s and their music! It made me feel like it was a real thing back when it came out! We really did downgrade over the years.
I randomly developed a crush on the ‘71 Skyline, so it became my character’s “personal vehicle.” If it was legal to run in an event, I ran it. I wanted to see just how far I could push it. Far, it turns out. Only the last two races of the game were too much for it (its younger sibling from ‘12 handled those just fine. Thanks for the end game ride, Marko!). I won several Gold events in it, just to prove I could. Maxed out at 195 mph by the time I was done. D to R3. That little storyline WAS the game for me. I will make sure I own that car in every Forza game that has it going forward. And I’m sure other people have “that” car for themselves, too.
Horizon 1 was virtually perfect imo. Ideas for sequel, "yeah let's get rid of the mini bosses as you progress through the wristbands thus diluting the sense of progression entirely, hey yeah great idea".
The original Horizon was perfection, honestly. The music, cars, presentation, atmosphere, fucks sake. Top 3 easy, Only behind Burnout 3 and Gran Turismo 4.
I remember seeing an ad in the Microsoft store at Mall of America that this game was $15 on sale. I couldn't resist and I don't remember exactly when I bought it, but it was fairly new. Best $15 I ever spent on a game. Loved every second of it.
Horizon 4 is great but very bland. I can't fault it for an arcade game. Although. It's every time you want more, you get more, then you're disappointed. The thing that ruined horizon 4 was the soundtrack. Forget the spin wheels.
This game got a 4K patch on Series S/X a few months back. This is the only 360 Forza game that works on the new consoles. For those interested, get it!
Horizon one set the bar way to high, it felt like a game that was reaching for a broad audience plus tailoring the experience for car enthusiasts. The other horizons are good, but they feel like they have been taken over by big shot uppers at Microsoft, it feels like the big brother-ed the game into something way more “mainstream” dropping the cool cutscenes with a little attitude for what? Emotes, multiplayer nearly required, and wheel spins. What happened to getting a call and rolling up to a rager in a parking complex where a dude chilling on the hood of his car tells you about street racing, not a little one liner about “I don’t condone this but there’s some street racing going on here it is” that comes over the radio. And whatever happened to bosses, you literally had bosses you had to beat, now you have a progress bar that gives you more races and gives you a participation reward when you reach a certain quota
I love Forza Horizon, I had so much fun when it was released. I used to be a Playstation person, then Forza Motorsport released, and I ran out and got a xbox, been with the box since. The problem with most modern car games these days is that they don't have proper campaigns. Car games need to have campaigns, you can't just cost of the fame of the cars you need a proper storyline and antagonist.
Forza Horizon is better than the fanbase of Forza Horizon 4 complaining about car sounds and some cars not being in the game, and not about the shitty multiplayer system.

I think that horizon 1-3 had pretty good animation in the interior but 4 just looks a bit lifeless or boring and me using mostly interior it feels very boring in the interior
Best Forza Horizon, the second was great too (with an incredible intro clip) than the serie lost its appeal and I don't how to explain it but the particular atmoshpere is just not here anymore.
Horizon 3 still has the cool festival vibe with going around the whole map building festival sites as you go. While I enjoy Horizon 4 a lot, the festival vibe just kinda disappeared

Forza Horizon was my shit, I played the hell of out of this. I remember getting together with my friends online and we would cruise around the world. FH4 is cool too, but nothing beats FH1.
Nice, fantastic game. As others have said, FH3 is going away soon. Grab that DLC while you can, it's in a class of its own. Also, be mindful of Forza Horizon 2. The Xbox 360 and Xbox One games are VERY different. Xbox 360 uses the same engine as Horizon 1, and features different single-player progression, different challenges, different cars. Basically, only the map is the same. It's a worse game overall, but honestly worth playing for any Horizon fan. It's the secret little Horizon 1.5!
Just bought Forza Horizon last week for my 360, and what an awesome game. back in the 7th gen days, I choose the PS3, so I didn't got to experience what the 360 had to offer. Then Bought a brand new 360 in 2019 to try some of the exclusives, best decision ever. Awesome review.
This game is the definitive choice, FH2 is where I lost all interest, it removed features that were from the first game and the later installments were copy and pastes of the same game but with different locations or gimmicky features like seasons. I honestly hated being forced into showcase events and having control over the festival, I'd rather start from the bottom and have freedom to do showcase events whenever I want

I love this game! It’s very close to being perfect. The only thing that keeps it short of that is the fewer cars compared to FMS 4 and the engine noise. NFS games take the cake on that. Nevertheless, I had great fun playing it and many memories.

Some of the radio stations in FH4 has pretty good soundtracks. But nothing like the ones in the original Horizon

But he had a 360 and a copy of this game so I poured a lot of myself into this game, basically just kind of lost myself in it as an escape, and honestly, it was a huge part of getting back on my feet. I literally bought my own 360 after years of being only a Sony guy simply to get a copy of this game later on.

Yeah, horizon 2 felt like a stepping stone to get to 3. 4 is just 3 with more of everything. 1 had a mini plot going on. Reminded me of those NFS bmovie plots xD

Forza Horizon 1: hey, we have restrictions on these events meaning you can only drive a particular car, that way you get to drive something you probably wouldn't normally drive
Forza Horizon 2: hey, you wanna do every event in that Supra/BMW/Dodge Charger you got at the start, you can do that, as there are no restrictions *at all*
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ and the restrictions also mean that your cars, car builds, and money have value and serve a purpose because they'd be useless if you can beat the game with your starter cars
Forza Horizon 4: Hey, we do have certain restrictions, but mostly for seasonal events, though you have to pick a car from a set performance group, and from a set typing.

I miss Horizon 1. It was such a great game and felt so fresh. Later games lost some of the magic.
The later games completely forgot the original was heavily focused on the festival aspect of the game.

Yes, the racing is arguable better as you can fine tune your car, but they went full corporate and completely ditched what made the first game unique. The first was a completely new thing for forza. A big aspect of the first was the music festival, which I would argue they've put on the sideline almost entirely. Look at the cover art for all 5 games, do any of them have the festival on the cover besides the first? No. The game also lacks any form of solid narrative. That's not to say that the game doesn't do well as an open world game, but if they're gonna take that route just fucking commit to it. The story was the main reason the first was t for Teen which they never want to happen again. The 5th one players are spoon fed everything and treated like Car Jesus who could never do anything wrong.
I'm not gonna say that I don't enjoy the later installments. However, the new Forza Horizon games just become more and more soulless, created primarily to gain mass appeal and help sell xbox game pass. I can enjoy racing in FH5, but that's it. The environment doesn't have that festival feel despite there being multiple outposts, it's just an open world with trash music playing.

It already started when I got an invite to a closed "launch event" on a military airfield in The Netherlands.
A huuuuge car show that already gave off a "horizon feel" with DJ's, parties, car and bike stunts outside, many beautifull cars...
It was simply amazing. And then starting up the game, starting in a VW Corrado and slowly building up hype and fame and car collection. Everything was perfect in that game.
FH2 was... I dont know, not thát impressive? FH3 was again impressive though, but the story and way of presentation was lackluster imo. The driving, events, tracks, roads, etc, were all perfect.
FH4 i have yet to play.
Fh4 isn’t exactly a bad game, but it doesn’t feel anything like the original forza horizon, I don’t get any festival feel at all, no real cutscenes, no “bosses” but that’s just my opinion, although it’s my least favorite in the series I have played it quite a bit and it was received incredibly by the press
I agree with Anthony. Horizon 4 is abides by a different philosophy, where the only 'new' things are altering seasons and purchasing houses. The devs focused more upon the (beautiful) map and adding more and more notable cars through updates. It's kinda sad to admit that you haven't missed out on anything with Horizon 4. It's a good fun game but I find myself reminiscing the older titles.
@@PedzRR I really like FH4, but it is true that the "magic" of the first Horizon just isn't there. They put a TON of work into FH1, experimenting and creating something entirely new, while its sequels only improved on what was already made (or altered in terms of storytelling). However, the business aspect of FH4 was brilliant, like side stories with benefits for completing them. The Isha's Taxis side story was pretty cool. Even Top Gear made a reappearance, where the player would take the role as The Stig, and some of the challenges were pretty tough to beat.
Now if only we could get the first game remastered, and also released on PC... well I would have loved to play that one again

Imo, Horizon 1 was the perfect one from a completion standpoint. Later entires added so much extra that it feels like getting 100% would require dropping out of school and playing full time. *Glares at Horizon 3 and winning 2,000 races...*

This game had SO many showcase events and chances to win free cars which was cool. Could even get upgrades for 100% free from smashing boards and this is where a lot will disagree with me. I liked not having off-road vehicles in this game and it had some really cool Supercars that never came back. I even liked having to use certain cars for certain events as it encouraged me to get a lot of variety in my cars. As far as I can say, this game will never die.
Aussie here: You're gonna LOVE Horizon 3. They really nailed the look. There's gum trees everywhere, and it really does feel like parts of the Gold Coast and maybe Queensland. A lot of games have Australia levels, and it's more them saying "This is set in Australia", with nothing to show for it, like Tony Hawk's Underground 2. Rest assured, you'll be impressed
Never been to Australia. Horizon 3 makes me feels like I when I visit in just going to be disappointed with reality. I gush about horizon 3 to all of my friends. Shame it's going to see end of life soon

12:50 I always thought the handling stat in Horizon is higher because they don't have to be compared to LMPs later Formula 1 cars. Like a 10 in a Horizon is a Zonda R where as a 10 in Motorsport means LMP/Formula 1

This game is very special to me it influenced my life in a big way. I have family that lives in Colorado and we would always drive to Denver to go see them. I live in New Mexico ( the state below Colorado ) and it would be so amazing to see all the locations in the game in person on the way to Denver. That town in game is a recreation Golden Colorado. That's where Coors is brewed, anyways I loved all Motorsport titles as a kid. The biggest influence on me was actually the in game music. It made me fall in love with EDM, Denver was the bass capital of the world. It felt like I lived in horizon when I would go to red rocks to see the same artists that were in the game soundtrack. I will always love this game.

Horizon 1 is still my favourite in the franchise. Absolutely loved it back in the day. It stayed fun to play for ages after release too. Something you don't get with new games.
I didn't get my 1st xbox until 2018 so like you I'm late into the forza game's and were playstation and therefore gran turismo beforehand.
Having had 4 year's to catch up with all the forza game's, I rate it as a better overall series of games than I do the GT series as Sony got very lazy with the gt series after GT4 just as xbox picked the ball up for the forza series, and that has played a part in me getting a series X before I get a PS5 and for the 1st time since ps1 not getting a playstation around the time it launches.🤔
Forza horizon 2 is one to review, as there was a different version of the game for the 360 and a sort of swan song to the generation, it was missing features compared to the Xbox one version, but I still enjoyed the 360 version having played it after I played the xbox one version, and still play it when I visit my mum and the 360 I have set up in her living room.👍🏻

2022, forza horizon 5 is out now. But The first is still The best one... The atmosphere and progression have never been captured as well by later instalments. I Just hoje they port it to PC eventually or make a "back to The roots" spin on The franchise.. but i doubt it
The guy who was brought in to compile the licensed soundtrack for this game is DJ Robert John Gorham, the founder of the real life Bestival festival. That's why the soundtrack on Horizon 1 in particular is so catchy!

Man this was the best Horizon the feeling I got from the intro, the cut scenes, the scenery and even the hype of the DJ’s and their music! It made me feel like it was a real thing back when it came out! We really did downgrade over the years.

When devs actually gave a shit about the game.
I randomly developed a crush on the ‘71 Skyline, so it became my character’s “personal vehicle.” If it was legal to run in an event, I ran it. I wanted to see just how far I could push it. Far, it turns out. Only the last two races of the game were too much for it (its younger sibling from ‘12 handled those just fine. Thanks for the end game ride, Marko!). I won several Gold events in it, just to prove I could. Maxed out at 195 mph by the time I was done. D to R3. That little storyline WAS the game for me. I will make sure I own that car in every Forza game that has it going forward. And I’m sure other people have “that” car for themselves, too.
Horizon 1 was virtually perfect imo. Ideas for sequel, "yeah let's get rid of the mini bosses as you progress through the wristbands thus diluting the sense of progression entirely, hey yeah great idea".
The original Horizon was perfection, honestly. The music, cars, presentation, atmosphere, fucks sake. Top 3 easy, Only behind Burnout 3 and Gran Turismo 4.
Absolutely loved this game and still do. I recently bought Forza Horizon 2 digitally for my 360 and just bought FM4 as well.
I remember seeing an ad in the Microsoft store at Mall of America that this game was $15 on sale. I couldn't resist and I don't remember exactly when I bought it, but it was fairly new. Best $15 I ever spent on a game. Loved every second of it.
Horizon 4 is great but very bland. I can't fault it for an arcade game. Although. It's every time you want more, you get more, then you're disappointed. The thing that ruined horizon 4 was the soundtrack. Forget the spin wheels.

Horizon one set the bar way to high, it felt like a game that was reaching for a broad audience plus tailoring the experience for car enthusiasts. The other horizons are good, but they feel like they have been taken over by big shot uppers at Microsoft, it feels like the big brother-ed the game into something way more “mainstream” dropping the cool cutscenes with a little attitude for what? Emotes, multiplayer nearly required, and wheel spins. What happened to getting a call and rolling up to a rager in a parking complex where a dude chilling on the hood of his car tells you about street racing, not a little one liner about “I don’t condone this but there’s some street racing going on here it is” that comes over the radio. And whatever happened to bosses, you literally had bosses you had to beat, now you have a progress bar that gives you more races and gives you a participation reward when you reach a certain quota

The problem with most modern car games these days is that they don't have proper campaigns. Car games need to have campaigns, you can't just cost of the fame of the cars you need a proper storyline and antagonist.

Forza Horizon is better than the fanbase of Forza Horizon 4 complaining about car sounds and some cars not being in the game, and not about the shitty multiplayer system.

I think that horizon 1-3 had pretty good animation in the interior but 4 just looks a bit lifeless or boring and me using mostly interior it feels very boring in the interior

9:30 FM3 is where I did my best art and I haven't been able to get back into it as much as I did then, and I don't know why.
Best Forza Horizon, the second was great too (with an incredible intro clip) than the serie lost its appeal and I don't how to explain it but the particular atmoshpere is just not here anymore.
Horizon 3 still has the cool festival vibe with going around the whole map building festival sites as you go. While I enjoy Horizon 4 a lot, the festival vibe just kinda disappeared
@@feyt8009 I'didn't like the 3rd because of the location, but it is only my opinion. I spent dozens of hours on the forth but only for the grind (unlock cars through objectives) but appart from that, the game has 0 charm.

Nice, fantastic game. As others have said, FH3 is going away soon. Grab that DLC while you can, it's in a class of its own. Also, be mindful of Forza Horizon 2. The Xbox 360 and Xbox One games are VERY different.
Xbox 360 uses the same engine as Horizon 1, and features different single-player progression, different challenges, different cars. Basically, only the map is the same. It's a worse game overall, but honestly worth playing for any Horizon fan. It's the secret little Horizon 1.5!
Even the map has differences, like how the golf course and docks dont exist in the 360 version

Just bought Forza Horizon last week for my 360, and what an awesome game. back in the 7th gen days, I choose the PS3, so I didn't got to experience what the 360 had to offer. Then Bought a brand new 360 in 2019 to try some of the exclusives, best decision ever. Awesome review.
This game is the definitive choice, FH2 is where I lost all interest, it removed features that were from the first game and the later installments were copy and pastes of the same game but with different locations or gimmicky features like seasons.
I honestly hated being forced into showcase events and having control over the festival, I'd rather start from the bottom and have freedom to do showcase events whenever I want

I love this game! It’s very close to being perfect. The only thing that keeps it short of that is the fewer cars compared to FMS 4 and the engine noise. NFS games take the cake on that. Nevertheless, I had great fun playing it and many memories.
