What I would do if I had terrain Like this. Closest rocks that give you a crawl that's worth it is an hour and 45 minutes. Love watching these videos man

I was the same… bought one this weekend. Drove it once and altough it’s not perfect… I decided I will sell some 1/10 stuff and will put the dough into the 6, they’re too much fun.

Man what a great run. I have the 1:10 Scale Honcho I’ve upgraded to all metal links & new Servo. I was never interested in the SCX6 Jeep & my thought is I can buy 2 very good RC’s for the Price of own SCX6. But sometimes right when you see a RC you know your going to wind up with one & that’s is exactly how I felt. It looks amazing & performs very nicely in stock form so lots of room for improvements. I just wonder is there a good amount of upgrades & accessories for it. I love the sound of them.

Been watching your videos for a while and noticed I never subscribed, but I fixed that. And I love my wrangler already chop the top and folded the windshield down and painted the body a light blue and the rims to match 🤙

Cool vid and awesome spot. Since I got my 6 Rubi, all my others have sat on the bench. My only issue was running dead on pack 1 and pack 2 wasn’t charged. That was not a fun day! Now I pack an scx 24 so I can tow it back if needed. Kidding. Thanks for sharing

I came SOOOO close to ordering one of these, as they came in stock at AMain in just enough time to get one before I left Montana... BUT, common sense prevailed and I waited. I still want one though, and seeing yours makes me really want one. I was gonna get the red/orange, but seeing your tan one makes me wonder if it's not the better choice. I'm gonna wait til next year when I'm in a no-sales-tax state again, and also for the aftermarket to catch up a bit
those surely can't be the stock foam inserts ?
I swear mine rolled over just taking a turn on flat ground.
I had to replace those straight away.
I went with the Power Hobby Dual Stage foam inserts along with the Proline Interco G8 Super Swamper tires. They work loads better. But there are tons of other things to do on these rigs.
Like figuring it out and improving the steering function/servo control.
I bought a badass 150 KG servo that requires 12.6 volts.
But it has no dedicated outside power source plug. So I have to buy more stuff just to make it work. I recommend purchasing a servo that has the separate external power feed plug from the start.
The install will be a whole lot easier to figure out 😉
Either way it will be on top of your list of things to do. Promise !
But you'll likely need more chassis support for that to work well !

amazing footage, what a perfect setting for the scx6. fantastic driving at 6:32 and beyond for both honcho and wrangler. question though.....why does it "unload" like that several times in a row? esc protection?
Nothing to do with the esc, his shocks are unloading.
I have the dualstage foam in my tires, it is less rock crawling capable but im ok with it, it hands better on the trails, its jus way too soft n spongy with the factory sponge. but if u do all rock crawling, i recommend the factory stock foam as is
I agree, I still have stock foams but I’m interested in the anti foams at the moment

im super new to smart batteries and electrics in general, normally play with nitro and its been 10 years, can you tell me, is there anything bad about running with the batteries in parallel? i got the parallel wiring, i just want to be sure its not bad for the truck
