RDR2 didn't stand a chance. "Travel to this check point" *30 minutes later once you finally make it there* "Now travel back to the same spot you just came from"

It just has ray traced shadows, according to digital foundry. This is absurd, it should have been a free upgrade for original owners of the PS4 and Xbox One version considering how GTA Oline has the monetization structure of a lot of free to play games. I haven't looked at news for how well this has sold, but I can't imagine it has sold well. There have been games on the Series X and PS5 that have received free upgrades with full blown ray traced lighting, with texture upgrades and graphical upgrades, entirely for free. And this is also the most profitable entertainment product ever produced; I would have loved to hear internal discussions at Take Two's board meetings where they discussed this. It was probably filled with the most cliche and enraging corporate bs you'll ever hear.

This trailer is a complete joke.
• Lester having two chairs inside each other.
• “Welcome back to Los Santos”, the GTA series never left Los Santos, there is literally no reason to say welcome back.
• Maybe there are a few more bushes and flowers placed in the countryside but its barely noticeable.
• “With improved graphics”, come on, show me, moving the sun so it sets in the north and adding lens flare doesn’t count, slightly different smoke textures when explosions happen is not enough, yellow licence plates is probably a bug.
• “Enhanced gameplay”, what enhancements? You didn’t tell us anything and it’s impossible to tell what part of the gameplay has been enhanced form a one minute and 11 second trailer. Tell us, your communications is severely lacking, only tweeting about weekly stuff for GTA Online and RD Online and occasionally retweeting in-game photos people have taken.
• The character switching already feels seamless on Xbox One/PlayStation 4 and PC, sure SSDs on the new consoles will make it faster but it should be a major selling point of Expanded and Enhanced.
• “Explosive action”, it’s a Grand Theft Auto game, people will assume it’s got explosive action let along one that is coming up to its 8th year of release and that has been re-released again and again.
• “And much more”, what more? Tell us, it’s been radio silence since it was announced last year using a trailer with footage from 2011, it’s been delayed until March, tell us what more there is.
• With the GTA Online at the end, what you’re saying is “Welcome to GTA Online, you’ll be blown up by griefers”.
All the gameplay shown is stuff we have already seen and played before for nearly eight years, none of it is new. Get your act together.

100% intentional. No doubt in my mind. Straight up trolling at this point, but I think they know they are going to deliver the goods with GTA VI.
The ray tracing is so poorly implemented you cant tell the difference , the only difference is more foliage this isn’t expanded in any way.

It just has ray traced shadows, according to digital foundry. This is absurd, it should have been a free upgrade for original owners of the PS4 and Xbox One version considering how GTA Oline has the monetization structure of a lot of free to play games. I haven't looked at news for how well this has sold, but I can't imagine it has sold well. There have been games on the Series X and PS5 that have received free upgrades with full blown ray traced lighting, with texture upgrades and graphical upgrades, entirely for free. And this is also the most profitable entertainment product ever produced; I would have loved to hear internal discussions at Take Two's board meetings where they discussed this. It was probably filled with the most cliche and enraging corporate bs you'll ever hear.
