Man that's awesome you know you have to think about it like this the Blaster motor has more bottom end torque that would be a badass little woods bike, kind of like a KDX. 12 years ago I put a CRF 230 motor in a Honda ATC 185 s frame that was in Immaculate condition it turned out to be a awesome build I ended up selling it but it was definitely a head turner
@gtxmiata that is an awesome build I can't wait to see it finished, like I said earlier I'm curious because the Blaster motor is going to have a lower gear ratio I'm thinking the low-end torque is going to be awesome in the woods
All it would take for that blaster to make more hp than the 125 is a simple port and polish cut the head and a set of reeds Wich is what I plan on doing when I put a blaster engine in a old 70's 125 I got Wich should be fun consider it weighs almost half of what my 94 kx125 does
I WANT HER TO SCREAM & PUT THE COMMENTS to TOTAL SURPRISE!!! Shaving the head down to be flush even across will pump her up to 180ish psi. U can reuse the head gasket many times just put it back in correctly every time with the arrow forward
@@gtxmiata note: those little rubber strips that “push-in” to the cooling fins on the cylinder head WONT FIT ANYMORE because once u shave the head it goes closer to the cyl. Just snip the one out before u torque the head back down😉
@ if u don’t want to buy a ADVANCED FLYWHEEL KEY u can grind out the mounting holes for the screws on STATOR PLATE to advance . U do t need VP110 fuel for advance timing just 93 pump is fine

Just think about this the Yamaha Banshee is nothing more than a rz350 motor which they never change the gearing in the engine which made them really fast on straightaways but they didn't handle good in the bottom end was horrible on them
Is it still on STOCK BORE 68mm??? I got a piston for u to throw into it and once u see the difference between what u have and what we do to them to increase air/fuel into the crank case u will be like 😮

@ just let me KNOW what u may need!! The blasters are near and dear to me as also the banshee. I want this to turn out BETTER THAN YOU!! With the rite ingredients a STOCK STROKE/PISTON BLASTER ENGINE is able to make NORTH of 25-30hp and setting up the carb for METHANOL instantly will gain 15%.
@@gtxmiata most of ALL stock coils are WHITE as SOME ARE BLACK. REGARDLESS we PUT AN OHM METR on EVERYTHING including THE SPARK PLUG CAP. STATOR the SAME w/OHM METER.
@@gtxmiata a BR8ES SPARK PLUG is a hot 🥵 PLUG because of the STOCK PIPE so we use BR9ES on AFTERMARKET PIPES so we won’t burn a hole in piston! Not saying it WILL BURN a hole but just a preventative MAINTENANCE thing. I hope u USE a PRO CIRCUIT PIPE too💪🏁💨

I have a KDX too, hoping this will be the lightweight version with some forks that will actually do something

I think if this is an enduro machine, the headlight switch might come in handy for those long riding days.
I might run a 24hr race with it so yeah definitely not throwing the lighting system away

The IDOL GEAR clip probably came off because the bushing is worn. Replace the gear ⚙️ and probably be fine. I got an extra too!!

Just to say if your fire extinguishers yellow arrow is not in the green then your extinguisher needs to be replaced or it might not work in a fire

With a little bit of suspension work that should make a nice woods bike,basically a cross between a kdx and an IT 200 👍
I love my KDX but the suspension is lacking, I'm looking forward to see how far I can take this Kx suspension
A VITOS +4 advance timing FLYWHEEL KEY WAKES them up TOO

Yes it was a similar engine, on terrible traditional forks with a pogo stick rear shock and quite a few more lbs overall
