I do mine with coconut butter, a little coconut oil, cocoa powder, and honey. I usually just eat it like fudge or batter but when I’m serving them to others i roll it into balls and coat with cocoa powder. I also like to add maca powder, vegan protein powder, cassava flour, a sprinkle of salt, soaked roasted cashews etc when I’m feeling fancy

Im attempting this recipe at the moment. We're in the cooling in the fridge part with the oat recipe. So far its been super easy. Hardest part was grinding up and sifting oat flour since I didnt have oats in flour form. I tasted the finished mix and yes, i can see how similar to truffles it is. Love the greek yogurt in the mix since I make my own and always have it on hand. The mix alone, I would prefer it a touch sweeter, but then its not finished yet and I'm thinking a roll in powdered sugar and cocoa should be sweet enough. Also toasted some walnuts to grind up and decorate the truffles with when cool. Ill add an update when everyones had a taste test.

I love these simple recipes! I make protein muffins for breakfast so I always have oats, and greek yogurt on hand. I’ve also been trying to find recipes to use up my coconut flour and cocoa after giving up on making muffins out of them. So I’m a happy camper! For those like me who have to watch their saturated fats: each truffle has 3.9g of saturated fat as part of the total fat content. Although normally when cutting down it is often recommended to go by the 5g per 100g rule; there is also the alternative way of basing it on your total calorie macros for the day or even week.

I made the three ingredient oatmeal cookies (with dark chocolate chips)--everyone loved them.
The cookies were very dense and filling, too.

@@SinnohGreen Umm isn't that where it's supposed to be. It is homemade so it has no preservatives or such.
Please tell me if Im wrong. I'm not an expert.

@@kavin1384 condensed milk is normally canned so doesn’t need refrigerating, so as long as you haven’t put an open can in the fridge then you’re fine. Open cans in the fridge can cause problems with the taste of the food and could potentially be damaging to your health as the metals deep into the food. Definitely don’t ever put tinned pineapple in the fridge as the acid reacting with the metal is very dangerous.
