Dr. Berg, I think you need to write a book explaining which supplements to take when, with what combination, and why. And if you’re feeling up to it, which supplements or minerals to take for certain diseases. I take notes, but I feel like I might not be the only one who would want this kind of book. Thanks!

How this teaching is needed, oh my ❤ I considered myself very health aware before, but even then I took multivitamins, though better quality as I bought them in the health store, but still... I realized after listening to this man that even the good quality ones have some of the low quality vitamins. Now I take beef liver supplement (from free cows), natural vitamin C (from actual fruit), D3, magnesiumglycinate, k2, Brewers yeast, nutritional yeast, seaweed (pills), krill oil, and a few others. I also take fermented dandelion juice and eat saurkraut and kimchi. Now everything is natural and easily absorbed. Thank you ❤

Fantastic video. I've learned this myself a while ago but it's so good to show people this. Before I buy any supplement I make sure to compare at least 50 different ones to each other and most of the time only 3-5 products even make the cut. Most have got the worst forms of the nutrients, loads of starches (or even maltodextrin) and magnesium stearate and loads of other completely unnecessary ingredients.
    Do your research!!

I would love to see a video/chart organizing all of the major supplements and nutrients (and the recommended formulation, eg folate or glyphosphste) into a schedule that maximize their benefit by avoiding taking things together that interfere with each other, or taking them at the times you’ll best absorb them (eg before sleep, after sleep, or split across the day because of short halflife). I’ve tried making this for myself based on the advice in your many videos, but I don’t feel I have a good grasp on it yet. Basically it’s “a recommended schedule for taking multiple supplements”.

DR BERG, GREAT EDUCATIONAL VIDEO ONCE AGAIN!!! Dr Berg what do you think about NAC? Do you think it's safe to take 600 mg 2x a day if so how long should one take it should they rotate it off certain months? I think you should make a separate video on what nutrients and vitamins average person should take on a daily basis.. I myself think a daily vitamin, CoQ10,vitamin d3- K2 mk7,B complex, OMEGA-3 FISH OIL. , there's some others but those are the main and of course trace minerals. I apologize about the long video I'm speaking on a mic🎙️, so it just keeps texting as I speak. YOU'RE 100% RIGHT ABOUT THE MALTODEXTRIN IT'S IN A LOT OF PROTEIN POWDERS, AND MASS BUILDING POWDERS, AND DO NOT TAKE SYNTHETIC VITAMINS, YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY A LITTLE MORE BUT YOU WANT TO GET THE RIGHT STUFF FOR YOUR BODY GREAT VIDEO TAKE CARE BE SAFE PEACE AND BLESSINGS. ✌🏼🙏🏼.

Ofc they can, it's essential to all humans. Regarding brand just do your research. Multivitamins are horribly formulated most of the time, it's very unlikely you'll find a good multivitamin.
If you're convenience oriented without wanting to make sacrifices the best balance is: Taking D3&K2 in a combined pill with fatty meals. Magnesium bisglycinate by itself before bed, Zinc Picolinate or carnosine. The closest thing to a "multi" vitamin that makes sense to take is a b-complex. Be careful, 98% of b complexes are absolute garbage so only buy one if you're willing to go through the ingredients of 100 different ones and choose the 2-3 that are actually valid.

Growing up as a kid in the 70s in Germany, I had to swallow cod liver oil with a spoon (no capsules, I still remember it to this day, the horror of having to swallow it!) and my mother put us in front of a UV lamp in winter to make sure we got some vitamin D. I was also an avid cheese eater (still am) and thus got vit K2 with it.
Scandinavian countries add vitamin D to milk and other dairy products.
Kids need vitamins as well as adults, maybe even more so as they grow and need to build bones, muscles etc...

Is there any possible nutrient deficiency/imbalance for not always getting tanned in the sun? For light colored person, sometimes there is a decently good tan after a day of two in the sun (let say 30min minimum at a time), while another time the same person doesn't get any tan at all, instead might get a bit red, yet stay white at the end of the day. And after a day or two without enough sun exposure, go back to white very quickly.

I’m on 2000iu Vd3 I’m going to upper this to 3 a day I’m 36 and my bones pop and cramp up quite often. I’ve had vd3 deficiency since I was 20 years when I was finally checked and my muscles are feeling much weaker I’m trying to keep doing planks to get them back stronger I just feel like I need to take so many more vitamins on top of thyroid medication I’ve been thinking to take iodine drops to help out but I don’t want to get my thyroid confused as we kinda got it in a good range I can definitely feel when it’s off I’m also on iron I just feel like a pill addicted every-time I order my meds 😩 I know that I need them in order to get better and feel better. I appreciate all you do for everyone ❤

Watch out with iron. It is not good for us in pill form. Make sure you take k2 and magnesium with D3.

What is different between a natural and synthetic vitamin? Is it not just the same molecule the body expects?

One more thing, not all vitamin brands are on the up and up. I was watching a channel that does vitamin testing and I came to find out the particular berberine I was taking only measured at 5% berberine of what it was claiming.

I find it extremely hard to get 4,700 mg of potassium everyday! In the morning I eat a tangerine. I've added a kiwi. I'm eating mackerel and eggs... I eat vegetables... And still on a good day. It's still around 2,500

I asked Doctors' Best about the maltodextrin content in their nattokinase capsules, as I was taking ten caps per day. After a long wait, their emailed response was that it is "proprietary information." I have since switched to a formula that does not contain maltodextrin. [Dr. Berg, I can forward the emails to you if you would like.]

Dr Berg, thank you so much for sharing your continued knowledge of the human body. I have learned so much from your really enlightening videos. You mention Vitamin D a lot and I was interested in your latest comment on the use of VItamin D and also Magnesium deficiency. Can you advise on how much Magnesium should be taken by a vitamin when using 11,000 IU of D3+K2? Also is D3 +K2 helpful with LPR (Silent Reflux). I welcome your reply, many thanks.

Honest question Dr Berg. I bought a 5000 iu Vit D3 based on the benefits I learned from one of your videos which even recommended 10,000 iu. My doctor however said the a safe daily limit of it should not be more than 4000 iu. How should I reconcile this.

Your doctor doesn't seem to be properly informed. 4000 iu is suitable for up to a middleweight, but for heavyweights it becomes tight.

You can check your blood levels before supplementation, then take some, a few months later measure it again, if still not enough, increase dosage?

If you’re deficient in vitamin D3
      Meaning 19ng/ml = 19000 ng/L
      5 liter blood - 95000 ng = 95mcg
      1 mcg vitamin D = 40 IU
      95 mcg = 40 x 95 = 3800 IU.
      Doesn’t make sense right?
It’s already in deficient category and doctors are recommending lower dosage.
If you want to maintain or increase vitamin D level
      For 30 ng / ml = 6000 IU
      For 40 ng / ml = 8000 IU
      So on…
      Toxic level = 100 - 300 ng/ml
That is 60,000 IU per day (you’ve to do this for months or years to reach toxic levels)
Dr berg recommend dosage 10,000 - 20,000 IU per day.
Which is not high at all.
      Hope this helps

Dr. Berg, would you do a video comprehensive list of vitamins and mineral supplements and their therapeutic dosage to help us correct chronic diseases such as diabetes and kidney disease and other chronic conditions?! You talk a lot about the benefits of therapeutic dosage but hardly ever mention the actual therapeutic dosages.

I have been doing so much research about stomach acid , I have changed my entire life around and I am doing clean keto exercising , red light therapy , steam spa , occasionally doing cold showers , sleeping almost 7 hours per day , taking supplement ( good quality ,) and I cannot for the life of me fix constipation and my night blindness. I am taking 2 tudca in the a m. On an empty stomach and 2 late afternoon. I have started taking hcl with pepsin before I eat a few days ago. I don't think I have enough stomach acid to absorb vitamin a ( night blindness ) and the constipation could be my stomach is to alkaline . Edit : I've been making l reuteri with l gasseri yogurt for over a month , hasn't helped and I've been growing my own broccoli sprouts and radish sprouts. I wonder if I may have sibo from low stomach acid

Has ANYONE ever seen what a vitamin actually looks like? For example, what does vitamin D look like? Have you ever questioned why these scientists or nutritionists have only shown us computer generated images or cartoons of vitamins and minerals but not the vitamins and minerals themselves? Why?
