I had to come back to your channel to let you know that I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this projector. I got it for a crazy deal on Best Buy and I just installed it. The moment I play my spiderman game...Woooow. I noticed so much more detail. Y'all it doesn't matter if it's chip or shifting, it provides 4k . Today I'm about to watch Transformers 1 4k and then The Batman. Thank you my man for this vides for helping me make my mind up.
A small correction, gaming mode disables pixel shifting which reduces the resolution to 1080p and changes refresh rate from 60 Hz to 240 Hz. It's still a very good projector nonetheless.
@@A_succulentChineseMeal I don't have any means to measure it, but it feels more responsive than a typical Samsung 4k TV, and those are rated at about 20 ms.
Wow, the video taken with your camera pointed at the wall to give us a solid idea looks impressive...especially Ratchet and Clank looked so good. I'm regularly using my 1080p Viewsonic PJD7820HD projector with only 60hz and 3,000 lumens. Been using it for about 8 years now, and I still love it, just not as much anymore for gaming due to the lower refresh...but I am still only on my 2nd bulb about 1,200 hrs, and I clocked my original bulb at well over approximate 6,000 hours life. It's primarily for my use with work now. However, I am really looking into the 4k projectors and this PX701 4K seems to be as good as any out there for the price, as much as I've researched. I will love to see it on nearly finished media room in the basement with the low latency and with movies...and back into gaming use on a projector. I can deal with the lower contrast, though I would really love to see it a bit higher...but I won't complain. I know I would really love this projector, and it's currently on sale on Amazon for $765 !! Wow! I hope it stays there until I'm ready to buy. Could maybe drop a little more at some point too. Thanks for your videos!!
Thats a good question 🤔, laser Projectors are super expensive & their main focus is for Home Theater Movie Enthusiasts who want to have that best possible Cinema Experience.
Just got this projector and hooked it to a series s. Question: is there a way to disable the source searching when going from games to Netflix? When I start a new app or game, the screen flickers green, then shows it's searching for a source, and then it starts the app. My 1080p espon never did that. Just curious if you've experienced that.
I'm debating between this and the TK700sti, what's the response time at 4k? I know it's 4.2ms at 1080p 240hz, but is it also below 20ms for 4k60 HDR? Trying to find if the BenQ is worth 700 extra
according to projectorcentral "Lowest Measured Input Lag (4K): 16.9 ms at 60Hz" - I've been debating the exact same projectors and decided for $700 saved as you said, this one is fine. I'll spend the difference on a better screen.
i would use a good 65 inch tv over this projector ANYTIME ANYDAY! Why? Because the image quality is a 100 times better on tv then on this projector! I have both! Good Sony TV and a px747 4k projector. For movies its fine! But gaming? No way.
I think the point he's making is based on cost, quality, performance and for me portability which is why I'm liking this product. Was thinking of a 65" Samsung 4K UHD myself but I don't have a big room for that hardware in my bedroom for gaming. He's just making a fair point for options to a smart TV which I agree. Either preference is totally fine and within a decent budget.

What the input lag with the pixel shifting still on?

Can’t consider if I should buy this one or the optoma uhd35
Can you have keystone adjustment and keep the input lag low? If not where did you place your projector relative to your sofa?
Above his head if likely. Mine is above my head
how come expensive sony laser projector dont have low inputlag like that

would love to see a laser projector with all these gaming features.
@@niklastzimboukakis6153 they make them theyre just aboit 4 grand
Thanks for this video ! Are you going to test the new Acer GD711 ?! I would like to know the difference between these two 😁
Get a gray screen you will have a better black contrast
Key stone correction works in game mode?
what is your projector distance from wall ?

My Benq Tk700sti does that when in 4k mode but not in 1080p mode
Is it blurry around the edges?
I'm having trouble getting a visual, any troubleshooting suggestions?
How does the contrast ratio affect watching movies?
I was playing ps4 on a projector with a 130 inch screen, it's better than VR

What about contrast, does it have enough contrast?
youre alright....have no money for ah 4000k beamer so thx for this.....its dlp 60" so the best for price....!!!!
Is it native 4k resolution?
is it too bright to watch in a dark room for long movies?
Different lamp modes, some are brighter and some are dimmer to save on bulb life.
Man. 4.2ms? Almost as fast as my monitor. I have an epson 2150 but tempted to get this for the lower latency
Does it supports 3d?
sorry my mistake its not support 3d
ACER H6815BD is better than that projector. More ANSI Lumens (4000 vs 3200) more Cheaper and same refresh rate at 1080p, i.e. 240 hz.
This is a no brainer

gabrielwhite, if you have both - does it mean that PX701-4K is better in something, at least in watching movies?
