I've actually read about Daoin'Teague'Feer in a forgotten realms novel. Cadderly and Danica are the main characters. They are invited to take part in the ritual by an elf named Elbereth.
13:07 - I wonder what exactly Mystra has against "magic missle" arrows, that she allows only two arrows - that are created by use of High Magic, to which most mortals don't even have access - strike the same target per day, while any low-level wizard can just kinda spam Magic Missles onto the same target without that worry. And any medium level wizard can do 5 or more missles (in one casting!) into the same target, and then repeat that several times. But somehow shooting that same unerring missle from a bow (which does on average the same damage, just up to about 4 times as far) is a no-no and has to be restricted to 3 times per day per target? Considering line of sight is still a requirement it seems like she just doesn't like people using weapons. Especially true after looking up the very next option, targeting arrow, which means any spell (potentially dealing waaay more damage than arrow) will unerringly hit the target. Cue the targeted fireballs/metor swarms tandem castings to melt any enemy command center to the ground. Or hey, let's just gather tons of mages to cast Magic Missle on the poor sucker that was hit - with that, poor Eagle's Mark arrow seems really weak. Unerring barrage of magical darts, from way more than 120 feet (as targeting arrows allow to cast spell "regardless of whether the target is within the spell’s range" - BTW, touch spells, anyone?), any number of times per day (as long as you have the arrows)? And goddess of magic has nothing against that! And not just one mage, as the wording suggests multiple casters can use the arrow's effect if they manage to cast their spells in the next round after the arrow hit and say the key word the High Mage provides. I mean - surely there were at least some elven mages that thought about it in the past and tried it.
that changing elves spell sounds a lot like the spell of Reincarnate but more controlled and less random and the person doesn't have to be dead for the casting of it.

So, in theory, an elf who for some reason does not want to keep entering his or her afterlife, or experience revelry for some reason or other could basically just go up and ask a high mage to turn him into a drow, or ? Couple examples: Wood elf falls in love with a human, and he knows that when he dies, he will simply keep returning to the material plane, while the human will ACTUALLY either get her afterlife (even if depending on what that afterlife is they basically just become mindless partitioners) or get used in the Great Wall of Hell No, and decides 'nah, fam. They're basically high elves.
Elf high mage: I'm gonna be unavalable for afew hours, while I go into deep reverie.
...
One week later:
...
Conserned fammily member 1: Hey! Are you okay in there? It's been days!
...
Elf high mage: Does not hear his fammily through the mythal
...
Fammily member 1: *Trys to come in, to check on mage*
...
Mythal: OUT!
...
Fammily member 1: *takes force dammage, and is knoked back against the wall, and falls unconchous*
...
Fammily member 2: *Trys to communicate telipathicly with mage.*
...
Mythal: That atempy yo distract the caster will NOT go unpunished!
...
Fammily meber 2: *gets inprisoned in crystal*
...
Fammily member 3: Calls emergency survaces, and a magical lock smith.
...
Emengency survaces: can't do anytbing, because they can't get in, or even see in.
...
Spellcasting lock-smith: arives and trys casting knock on the bubble
...
Mythal: You want to pass through me? How bout you pass through the floor, instead!
...
Locksmith: phased into the floor, but magages to work his way out.
Then trys dispell magic; upcast to be safe.
...
Mythol: HELL NO!
...
Locksmith: *sunk all the way into the basment by the mythol.*
...
Locksmith: I'm sorry, but this is beond my pay grade.
So technically the elf race change ritual was cast 7 times, not 5 (because they changed back) :3
Could we get a video about cadaver collectors?
I really want to know if casting U’Aestar’Kess between an elven archmage and her spouse would allow the spouse to cast the spells she knows, assuming the proper components are consumed.
The last one is an ancient version of zoom. The elves made the spell to stay sane during an ancient pandemic. The government took the idea of this from D&D, and claimed it as their own...
Elves, race with the lowest rate of divorces.
Lore gold!!!
