Excellent video here. I have a habit of viewing a lot of online instructors in my free time, and this guy strikes me as one of the better ones, in that the advice is straightforward & easier to assimilate than other teachers.
As a swing coach who teaches a non-athletic approach for those who want to play golf but feel they lack the athleticism, let me offer a suggestive caveat after viewing this vid, as I know many of you are going to attempt to implement these great instructional tips KKG has shared: IF ( and I stress, 'IF' ) you find yourself hitting the ground when attempting this most correct method, make sure you are NOT stalling your shoulders through impact. A good swing thought is to keep your left shoulder ( if you're right-handed ) moving up & back through impact, thus continuing the rotation & finishing with your chest towards the intended target. I find this to be the reason people strike 'the big ball' first ( The Planet Earth ) instead of the little ball with the irons. Keep aware of this and you'll be on your way to better ball striking. Keep up the good work Kerrod & I wish you much success.

Easily the best explanation of lag and the release of the golf club I have ever seen. Extremely well done. Thank you for this!

“You need to swing the club through positions, not position the club through the swing“. I’ve never heard that one before. That’s pure gold! Tbh, I have fought a similar situation where I can get a lot of club head speed & power but with a club face that never squares up to the ball creating a shot similar to shank. Do you have a drill that I can use in my pre-shot routine that would help to feel & encourage the proper release?

Thanks Kerrod! When you're at P6 and the shaft is parallel with the ground, where should the clubhead be if I was to look at you from behind rather than looking at you face-on? Should it be slightly behind you that if I looked down, the butt end of the grip should point at 10 o'clock? Or could the clubhead be in line with the target that the butt end would be pointing at 9 o'clock? Or, does it matter?
    Thanks again!

Ohhh yea I was definitely number 2 but then realised I didn't have my thumb down the center and the club was slipping in my hand, great for speed but not very consistent! Great video!
