I'm no chef, but I've been making ramen for quite some time now, looking at recipes from RUclips/books..I have even cooked my broth for hours, yet, could never achieve restaurant grade ramen broth. Then I came across this recipe, took me less than an hour to make the whole dish, and this, is packed with flavor! The closest I've come to making a beautiful, aromatic broth that reminded me of ramen I've eaten at a good Japanese restaurant. Thank you for this recipe.
Thank you sir that means a lot! Stay tuned for more new episodes every week! Oh! I also have a more recent ramen episode here - ruclips.net/video/Zq7ZF-kbxl4/видео.html
@@YEUNGMANCOOKING thank u for adding easy vegan dishes. When it comes to other vegan cooks it’s always so complicated and there is always use of food processors and blenders in every meal and “make this taste like chicken.” I don’t have time for that. FLYINHAWAIIAN37 In this episode I'm using an organic dry ramen noodles. theres many, many, many brands out there at the asian grocery stores. I don't really have a favourite brand, I mainly read the ingredients (should only be wheat, water, maybe salt). If it has anything else on top of that, I don't get it. I hope that helps! Different brands will taste different in terms of elasticity, so explore them and see which one you like :)
FLYINHAWAIIAN37 ya actually you can definitely substitute the ramen noodles for a udon style noodle if you’d like! I tried that once and was great too! feel free to be adventurous 😊😊😊
It's a must, guys! And so easy. I just made this for lunch today, only changing the amount of chili oil by half (weak). So worth it! Thank you again Wil!
Wil, this was literally the best dish I've ever made. Absolute god tier. Thanks so much for sharing, I really had no idea it would be *that* good. Really tasted 5* restaurant quality. I've bought two of your books now - so I've got a world full of tasty ramen to look forward to. Can't wait!

The best and tricky part of Asian foods is cutting the veggie in artistic way. I just love to see your your chopping details of veggie. Gives more insight to cut them easily. Please share your different types of knifes for cutting different veggie.
THIS RECIPE IS AMAZING!! I made your vegan broth but I had to change a few things, do to lack of ingrediens in stores close to me: Almond milk -> fat oat milk (for coffee) Chili oil with only sambal oelek, star anis and non-korean chili powder. Oyster mushrooms -> cremini mushrooms Ramen noodles -> soba noodles (buckwheat) Rice vinegar -> lemon juice Still, me and my partner were totally amazed!! Also added red bell pepper as garnish! Next up is gonna be your vegan eggs! :D I'm super excited!
I love your style of video - beautiful photography, simple and not too much information. Ramen is the best! It's great to see everyone's different ways of making ramen... I will have to try your method of putting the flavourings in the serving bowl first. Thanks!!

I'm a meat eater and still love your cooking. So full of flavour. Only just discovered your channel but have made 3 of your ramen dishes already and I'll be making this tonight. Really looking forward to it.
Made this today but subbed almond milk for oat milk as it was all I had on hand and WOW, it was bursting with flavour. So far this is your third recipe I've tried and each one has been amazing. I'm about to buy the recipe book because I can see all of your recipes becoming a staple in my household. Thank you for sharing your gift of delicious vegan authentic cooking!

Wow I can almost smell the aroma and perfection of this soup. I have made your broth from an earlier recipie of yours and also your fantabolous chilli oil. So all I have to do is just follow this recipie and be in seventh heaven. God bless you
Just discovered your channel and have subscribed because I love ramen and since going vegan I've not really had much of it. You've inspired me to make every different variant on your channel, this looks like the first one I'll be trying :).
Had this for lunch. As usual I didn't have all the ingredients. Instead of bokchoy, broccoli. instead of oysters, a portabello with the dark gills scraped out (or they make everything black), added tofu, fried last. And ginger, fried with the garlic and mushrooms. YUM! delicious broth. I didn't have a fancy Japanese bowl. Maybe I should get one. These recipes are so quick, so delicious!
This was my first attempt at home-made ramen and it was amazing! Thank you so much for the recipe. I will have to use less chilli oil next time, though, because I'm a wuss.
Hi Wil, I'm a new subscriber and am loving your videos. I really appreciate your concise, to-the-point recipes. I made this ramen tonight for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to make more of your recipes.
