Damn, crazy how relatable your story of how you started out with the internet was. Going to a couple places I bookmarked and watching funny RUclips videos was the extent of my introduction to the internet.
I can't wait until someone makes a mod putting characters like the Runner from Run, or Lava Boy and Water Girl in thr game.
Also, I was not too interested in the game back then because I was stupid to think it was solely going to focus between boyfriend.xml and the dad. But I got back into it once Week 3 dropped and Pico was shown. Then my interest increased in the game. I like it more than ever now

FNF is a genuinely decent concept, but my GOD the RUclips baby market has absolutely ruined the game. I remember going over to my cousin’s house, only to see his younger brother (who’s only 6 btw) watching FNF content (well I didn’t look at what he was watching but it was obviously FNF)

The problem is that a lot of supposed “children’s content” on this site isn’t meant to properly entertain kids with funny jokes, just enough editing, nice visual editing, and low volume, nowadays it’s just a sneaky ploy used by people who don’t care about entertaining kids to make as much money as possible. Just look at the RUclips gaming tab? 90% of the time it’s filled with god-awful, highly saturated, and over-edited garbage that you can B A R E L Y call children’s content. The sad thing is that most of the children that watch this stuff are under the age of 10 (worryingly, sometimes under 5), so they have no clue they’re being babysat by garbage that can lead to color-programming, social problems, emotional weakness, short attention-spans, and a lowering of the brain’s capability to process complicated information, so they just eat it up not knowing the consequences. Meanwhile in the other room, their parents are doing the best they can to escape the fact that they live in some slum in the Southern US, and make less than $1,000 a year, whether it be from alcohol or the stuff that makes you trip balls.
fun fact: all of these channels that try to market the game for kids even if it's not for them have a place in the darkest pits of hell since they just ruin games for everybody once they get popular

I like the power that FNF has to bring back so much nostalgia. I completely forgot who pico was until the game reminded me of watching youtube videos of the couple games that were made. Seeing lemon demon was cool, even though I found out about Neil's music about a year ago and have been putting it on loop ever since.

I will say after all this time it feels weird seeing how much has changed. How much mods have evolved, how dedicated people are to this game, how many old icons were brought back in the spotlight. I will put this down with a possibly broken hope that if they update this game soon enough, updating it on the day of the game's second birthday would be nice, which is about a month and a quarter away. Sadly they didn't, but that just means they must be putting something big together when they finally release the next major update, whether that be just a demo update or the full game. Still hoping for the best for them. Unfortunately I am no longer a fan of this game. The long delay has forced me to entertain myself somewhere else, and the mods are way too repetitive on boring topics. I will not be coming back to this game or it's community content until the update comes out.
