The fact that you´re not a Tech savvy makes this video amazingly useful, a lot of things I couldn´t find in other reviews video was talked here and I found that incredible, thanks for this video.
I use a pc for work and a Mac for home and this tutorial has me seriously thinking about adding this to my toolkit. Good job explaining things that could be gotchas and thank you for making the effort to share what you learned. Wish you future success!

They skip essential steps, just assuming that everyone knows what to do. If thats the case, why even make an incomplete tutorial. Smh. Thank you Stephanie!!!

How do you charge your Mac laptop if you are using both ports? Sucks Mac only has 2 porta. I use stand with internet fan to keep the laptop from heating up. I usually plug that into the port.

That’s a really good question! I actually haven’t noticed a significant difference. Probably depends on settings/brightness levels. I usually need a charge after 6-7 hours on full brightness

I would like them to make a bigger version like this be a mini and then make a large my laptop is 17 inches as far as the screen 6 inches is almost 1/3 of that I do actually have the ASUS Dup So there is a screen in the bottom so I love that but it really helps for school when you’re doing research papers to have more then one screen .. at my house I have monitors but as someone who likes to travel it would be nice if I could just take this with me especially as I work from home on laptops
AVOID & FIND ANOTHER BRAND - Xebec won't honor the warranty! The Leg/Support broke after a couple of months. See the images of the correspondence from Xebec. I provided them with all of the information they requested: invoice, images, and dates. I only requested a replacement part to fix the stand. XEBEX refuses to honor the warranty. The display works fine and looks good. The screens are a little small when used with an HP Elitebook G8. There are two cables for each monitor. The unit is heavy and requires a support leg/stand. The spring in the leg is heavy and doesn't move very well. That is good for keeping it in place but it really is bad when trying to open or close it. It is also weak and broke off in just under 2 months. Without it, the screens are too heavy for a laptop and cause the whole display to flop back. I contacted customer service and only get an answering machine. They only respond to emails but give you the runaround. You jump thru their hoops, they escalate it to a manager and then they say nope, they won't honor their word! AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!
Stay far away from this product and company. If I could give the company and product less than 1 star I would. I purchased this product as a gift, it was used once when it arrived. The person I purchased it for wasn't ready to use it for work, so it sat in the box undisturbed for a year. When it was taken out of the box one screen wouldn't work, it just stayed yellow. When contacting the company to ask for help troubleshooting the problem, they didn't even bother they said it needed to be replaced, remember it was used twice. But because the unit was two weeks out of warranty, they said sorry nothing they can do, but I can buy another one refurbished out of the box for $300. So what this tells me is, that if they didn't even bother to troubleshoot it and had refurbished one's laying around, they must have known that what happened to my screen isn't unusual. There was no offer for me to pay the shipping to return it for repair, just nope, nothing we can do, buy another for $300. Stay far away from this company and their product as they clearly want to sell their $500 screen's but don't care about anything else. To give you a comparison, I had Best Buy Geek Squad debug a two year old computer a few months ago that was out of warranty, fully expecting to pay for the repair and they didn't charge me, that's customer service and they will get my repeat business.

It supports pass-through charging. Connect the power to one of the USB-C ports on the monitor, and it will charge your laptop.
