Something like a midrange galaxy a55 would ace this test i feel as my s23 plus gets 6:28 and the A55 i owned before had about 60 percent left instead of 30 by the end of the day. But would the exynos let it down in more intensive tasks. My gut would say the midrange device would be better at easier tasks but use more gaming and video calling

Bro you have to put the phone to maximum to see the difference, you have to force the cpu to 100% to see much more different, with basic apps there is no difference 😅😅 you ha ve to re do the test with much more powerful apps that force the phone to run 100% of power
Performance mode is just marketing to those who want higher numbers. Some nominal apps use it, and it is used as a cheat for benchmarks to boost scores. The reality is only a few people will use it 24/7, they are more likely to use a power saving mode.
Probably performance mode doesn't boost performance when it doesn't need to so processor is still using the same amount of power. It would probably boost performance if it couldn't run game on set fps
