@@LoverOfTech Reminds me of my old Moto G5 that died half an hour into 0% and the charge counter telling me that it has used 3156mah out of its 2800mah cell, the Phones battery voltage was at 2.8V and it was still holding out like a champ, with 4 of its 8 CPU cores not functioning anymore at that voltage and the 4 remaining only at 0.9Ghz, but it was somehow still on and not dead.

This is unfair for the Magic 6 pro, we know the rest of the test shouldn't be camera recording only till the battery dies , it should be a mixture of vid recording, social media and playing vids to be more fair.
If you did that, i think it would've overpassed 9 hours mark.
But anyway i appreciate your work and vid was fantastic and gave us an idea of how Chinese phones are developing.

I have a S22 ultra, i was to upgrade this year,was looking for a test like this to help me choose to which device to upgrade,im going with HONOR,thanks for this test.magic pro 6 is a better choice.
When Samsung and other Android manufacturers understand like Huawei / Honor that the native screen resolution of 1220p of iPhones is ideal, they will gain a lot in battery 🔋 life.
A screen natively 1440p, software put in 1080p does not save batteries 🔋 in reality, very often even, it requires even more calculation from the processor, therefore more energy spent.
Honor is definitely an Underdog champion.. its gonna redefine the future of smartphones i guess.

I just bought a Galaxy S24 Ultra, after having for the last 3.5 years my P30 Pro... and i MISS my endless battery from huawei so much! i feel like it drains just too quick and i hear all the time that it actually last much.. and i am like.. damn you havent used a huawei... my wife has a mate 50 pro and it also last HOURS she many times forget to charge her phone.. she never really worries about it cause in 20 mins she has at least 80% of the battery back. i kind of regreat not waiting for the magic 6 pro to come to mexico and buying it.. i might actually sell this one to get the magic..

@@karimkitty1 its good, but bight mode is not as good, it is better than p30's but in my case since my wife has a mate 50 pro, i can tell the difference , we recently went on vacations to London, and her pictures at night were just much better she had the chance to take take pictures that were true to life, but when she wanted to take much brighter pictures she would use night mode and it was so much more powerful
I bought the s24U, and oneplus 12. I sent them back, not worth it. I'm still using my P30 pro ,battery last all day though its an old phone. The camera was better on ky p30pro comoared to s24u.I miight try honor cause l wanna replace my huawie. Hard to get the mate60 in the uk

This is quite the comparison because it initially excludes the battery capacity by calculating how much it lost in intervals but not total time and just a battery reading.

Quit surprised by this result, since Dxomark said the efficiencey of the Honor Magic6 Pro wasn't that good on camera recordings... In this test, it was by far better than the others.
I would not trust DxO Mark in any test they do. They always have a cunning slant on things and bend the truth.

been using huawei phone more than a decade until im back to samsung S24 ultra, is a great phone but im too used to china made phone battery life.. it was great and less hustle for me to find charger while working.. i will definitely back to china made phone like Honor or Xiaomi

I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max, using it as my daily phone I use about 40% of its charge per day, when I get home it is at 60%, it serves my well, I am really enjoying this phone after being a Samsung user for over 8 years.

What's more crazy is galaxy s24U is the first smartphone I've seen in your video that literally laggs ... If nobody noticed while ip was dead s24u was recording at 4k then he tried to scroll down for notification and the ui did lags/skipped the frames .....

Not at all happy with s24u battery performance, it's been 34th day today and still it's average at best.
Very inconsistent battery performance too
No issues here. Over 10 hours sot on wifi. Mobile data always smashes phones.
Going by battery capacity alone then the 15 pro max looks better optimised...the 600 Mah difference with the S24 ultra means they are relatively on par but kudos to honor for packing a larger frame in a smaller phone

I never used an iPhone, I don't intend to start now, Android was the only option for me,
this phone was not in my range price but I did an effort to get it.

I came from the s21u and the s24u's battery is insane. Probably an another 40% more battery life out of the same size battery and a much bigger screen. I'd say it's very efficient.
Imagine a 3nm chip and 5500-6000mah.....that thing would last forever.

I got my Honor Magic 6 pro, and i need comparison with someones other same Phone. Is ok that i have 38% batery after 7h screen on at day. There was mixed usage with YT, IG, Fb, Google maps, calls and other... I bought Phone by network provider. Thanks 😊

YT Music sucks on the iPhone. Battery life is about 2X more than Apple Music. Also, Instagram sucks on iPhones; terrible optimisation. These two are Google and Meta, two of Apple's biggest rivals. So I ignore the tests on these two apps due to them seemingly needing to be better optimised by developers.

Technically if the Samsung had a 5600 mah battery, it would get 7 hours and 6 minutes. Well, it's quite reasonable. Honor cuts enough to improve consumption. Lately, to limit overheating and improve consumption, manufacturers have been cutting the performance of their phones a little

If you put the battery capacity of the iPhone in perspective, it is incredibly good and the overwhelming winner. An iPhone with 5600 mAh would still have 50% when the other two are at 0.
